1 pound Pulled Pork by the pound
    Chris V.

I wanted a simple to go order, I was in the area and wanted to try their pulled pork. I walked in and asked if I could place a to go order. However, they have an undisclosed "service charge". They add 4% if paying with a card. It's not disclosed on their website and I was only informed when I questioned the fee. Fine, I paid cash. I was asked if I wanted all of my change. Why should I tip on a to go order? It literally took less than 1 minute to prepare. Today happens to be Friday the 13th. The server made a comment about the place would be full of spooky people would be in. The bar tender Eric made a comment that they were already here. I guess it's "spooky" if a customer doesn't expect a surprise service charge and doesn't tip on a to go order that too seconds to prepare.

This review is solely based on the food. The service was great and if you're coming just for a drink then it's a 5/5. They brew everything on site and they had fun flavors for their stouts (vanilla and peanut butter - two different drinks). This might be because we came late in the evening for dinner, but the brisket was very dry. The only thing saving it was the BBQ, which was sweet and tangy. We got 1lb of brisket and various sides (chili, cornbread waffle, and bacon Mac). It also comes with grillos pickles and wrap city chips. I have to say that the chili was pretty good, not watery and came with Fritos for a good crunch. I tend to like my chili on the spicier side, but this was still good. The Mac and cheese tasted mealy and not flavorful, but the noodles were cooked well. The cornbread waffles were cold and were not as good as a cornbread muffin. I would come back just to try their sold out items (burnt ends and jerk wings) to see if I just wasn't ordering the right thing.

I had lunch at the B B and B with a friend. The service was excellent and the atmosphere gives the perfect pub vibe. I had the pulled pork, baked beans and coleslaw. My friend got a pizza and loved it. The food is amazing.

My boyfriend and I gave this spot a try yesterday evening (Saturday around 5:30) after seeing good reviews. We originally wanted to sit outside, but after waiting a few minutes without our server coming out, we popped back inside. It's a cozy interior with a small bar, low lighting and a few TVs to watch the game. I love the Caribbean touch! The menu is up on a big chalkboard - only complaint here is a few of the prices were illegible. They've got some smokers behind the restaurant so you know they're serious about their BBQ! To drink I ordered the hard lemonade. Simple and delicious, perfect amount of liquor. To eat, I had the bacon mac n' cheese and my boyfriend had the brisket pizza. I'd give the mac n' cheese a 3.5/5. It was good, but the cheese sauce lacked a little flavor. The brisket pizza, however, was SO yummy. Had a perfect balance between crispy and soft dough, great amount of cheese and sauce, and the brisket gave this amazing sweetness and smokiness. 4.5/5, would go back for this pizza for sure. Overall we enjoyed our meal, the servers were attentive and kind, and it's a cool spot for some beers and a quick bite! Will be returning to try more of the BBQ soon :)

We made a stop in Salem for dinner after seeing some positive reviews of Border Brewery and Barbeque. The staff was super friendly and made recommendations for their favorite menu items. The decor inside is classic BBQ joint and they have a large outside seating area that dog friendly. I had the burnt end plate which had a big portion of burnt ends which were tasty, but I wished they were a little smoker and more moist. My partner had the pulled pork sandwich, which is made with cornbread waffles as the bun. She said it was tasty, especially after the addition of their amazing BBQ sauce. The steak and cheese egg rolls were really yummy and hot from the fryer!

This place is SUCH a hidden gem. Some of the best BBQ i've had in New England. We got the platter (minus the pulled pork, added the burnt ends) and everything was incredible. The beers are also great! Service is fast and the place has a cool vibe. We love coming here and will definitely be back

Wow! Phenomenal BBQ food! Ordered the Jamaican jerk wings as an appetizer, the chicken melted off the bone! Every thing you order also comes with chips and a pickle. For the entree we ordered a brisket pizza. It was coal fired which gave it a great char, the sauce and brisket on top were top notch. We also ordered the half chicken and got Mac and cheese and coleslaw as our sides. The chicken was season very well, it was a tad dry but dipping it in their BBQ sauce helped. The Mac was okay, nothing to write home about. The Cole slaw was very good on the other hand! We also got a side of burnt ends, I would say hands down the best burnt ends I have ever tried. I will 100% be coming back for the burnt ends. As far as the space, it's a little small and they don't take reservations so call ahead to see if there is a wait. Service was very pleasant. My fiancé and I can't wait to come back!

We were looking for a place to have one drink and we stumbled across this place. We initially were really excited about it, it smelt yummy inside, staff was friendly, and it was warm and cozy. Their menu is on a large chalk board at the front of the restaurant that you order from. And beer menu was located behind the bar. We each ordered one beer which we were not really impressed with and ordered queso dip to share. The queso was hot in temperature and had a smokey taste to it and was served with ?homemade chips that were puffy and not too soft not too crispy. To our surprise, our 2 drinks and 1 app was $40. The chalk board menu with the prices were smudged making it difficult to read as we interpreted our appetizer costing us $10 when instead it was $14. There were prices posted for the beers which each ended up being $10 ea.

The staff here were extremely nice and ran food out to us because I can't even really be in a brewery per allergies. The brisket was amazing , and so was the ribs and chicken! I will definitely be coming back and appreciate it immensely. The vibes were good inside but unfortunately I couldn't stay.

If I could have given it 10 stars We live 2hrs away from Border's. We went for an appointment, so we needed lunch. We choice Borders for BBQ and we were right!! Best BBQ in NH. We came from NYC and the BBQ is outstanding...we finally found it in NH. We started with the fried Pickles with Pickle aoli -wow, wow! Then my husband had beef ribs , with Brunt ends and Bacon Mac and cheese - couldn't finish it all. He said all of it was great. I tasted and totally agreed. I had Pulled Pork sandwich with cornbread as its bread for it. So,so delicious, best I've ever had!!! The chips with it were outstanding as well. We will find reason to be in Salem cos we will be back

These were the driest tacos that have ever hit my mouth. The audacity of them to charge $15 for a sauce sampler was beyond comprehension.

On a nice day there's a whole Golf course to roam, and a nice big balcony and patio to enjoy. Caution that it's a bit of a victim of its own popularity. The parking gets full as does the building. On a bad weather day it gets really full, and loud. If you hate children, this is not ideal. The balcony fills on nice days. I first visited these guys when they were operating out of a small barn, and seeing the evolution to this 53,000 sq ft, $18.5M facility is seriously impressive. They follow a "direct-to-consumer" model -- selling everything right out the front door -- and they've mastered it. I've been here many times over the years and go whenever I have the opportunity, which says everything. Tried some of their standout beers -- King Julius is the gold standard, consistently ranked among the best beers in the world. Their flagship Julius is just as impressive, with massive notes of mango and peach -- incredibly well balanced and executed. There are usually food trucks on site, which adds to the experience -- you can enjoy a fresh pour while picking up your take-home haul. Fun fact: On BeerAdvocate's all-time Top 250 list, Tree House often has 30+ beers featured, something almost no other brewery can match. Overall, some of the best beers anywhere -- truly unparalleled and absolutely worth the visit. Saluti.
