Feeling nostalgic? Watched some Ted Lasso and having withdrawls? Can't get the soccer match on TV? Well, the June Cork Pub has you covered! We went to meet friends and were pleasantly surprised to know they were serving Sunday Brunch! Our server was prompt, friendly, courteous, and informative. She was attentive to our questions. The food was generous and the Brunch menu had enough balance of breakfast, English favorites, and sandwiches. Everything came out hot and was delicious! We loved the neighborhood vibe and that there were soccer fans there watching the game and cheering- European Football has a whole different energy. It was a fun experience- we'd go back again.

We visited for the first time today. We started off with the corned beef rolls-I swear, we could have made an entire meal off of a couple of plates of them. Our entrees were just not well executed and we spoke with the waitress about them. Within moments, we were approached by the kitchen and she offered to make us something else. The new dishes were amazing. I was excited to bring home those leftovers. A complimentary dessert was brought to us, a slice of flourless chocolate torte with a raspberry coulis. It was heavenly. I am really impressed with the way things were handled and am actually planning to return soon. A little kindness turned everything around

Food was okay, nothing spectacular but we were going for the fish and chips. Service was good, gave a 26% tip because the waitress was polite, attentive, offered suggestions and thought the service was worth the tip. Issue is with the ink from their pens (originally thought it was the ink on the table) that transferred onto my newly purchased, 3hr old, $65 sweatshirt that I bought from Chaos and Kindness at their show that evening. I noticed it on my sweatshirt when we got home after dining there and noticed the ink spot on my credit card as well. Wasn't there before I called the restaurant that evening at 7:37pm 1/14/24 and left a message. Got to speak with Manager, Dan 5 days later because he never returned my call, who said i would Not be getting reimbursed since waitress asked me if we wanted to move. Her and I touched the ink spots on the table and they were dry. Never thought it was on my credit card til 3 days later when I went to use it, there it was.... Pretty sad when a restaurant won't pay for an item they ruined with one of their pens. Note to restaurant, get new pens!!!

Looking to enjoy a few hours? Just had food & beer at June Cork Pub in Dover NH. Huge British soccer (football) pub with a solid British beer list. Food was super tasty too .... Scotch eggs. Highly recommend.

Little bit of heaven while waiting for the Amtrak Dover to Boston. Friday night, Live music, awesome meal, and just one block from Dover Transportation depot. Super nice service from "Girl from Temecula" Sons grilled cod (super fresh) Fish and Chips thumbs up. dtrs Caesar salad thumbs up. My pork with veggies and Mac yummy . Peach cobbler had to pack. Almost missed the train. Soccer on most TVs in an English pub was a bonus. And we caught a live music night playing some old 60's to 90's rock. All the classics.

This one is subpar at best and I've never had a really standout experience here, even once. Historically I've been served the wrong order, had very slow service, the restaurant has seemed dingy and dusty. On my most recent visit, we were seated at a booth next to a window. It was a cold day, and we could feel a constant draft coming through the window, to the point that we had to sit there in our jackets to comfortably eat our meal. The people I was with both ordered coffee and stated that it was lukewarm at best upon arrival at the table, and their food wasn't much hotter. My fiesta lime chicken was hot and tasted fine, but one out of three isn't a great track record. Prices are also outrageous- almost $80 for three meals (two of which weren't hot), two cups of coffee and a soda. Overall, I won't be in a rush to come back to this location and I'll save my very occasional Applebee's cravings for the Sanford restaurant instead.

Service was extremely slow - barely saw our waitstaff- son wanted dessert, but considering we waited over 20 minutes and had to finally flag down waitstaff to get the check- I told him forget it. Food wasn't much better. Ribs barely had any meat on them and my vegetable side was ice cold. Not "sitting- forgotten " ice cold- but they were "not cooked/ microwaved" ice cold. Never got plates with the appetizers. We won't be back.

Upon entering Hop + Grind I was reminded of my old ways. The food is nothing short of ooze-worthy, with creamy levels of goodness, moist, juicy burgers, and sloppy fries. But the innuendos need to stop. I don't need to think of lustful acts while slopping down a greasy bite. I mean, cmon, Hoggy Style? You people make me sick. Overall, a good place with a good vibe. Would come here again.

Burger: I went with the Beast Mode, which comes with two patties, cheese, double bacon, "Hop sauce," crispy onions, pickles, and maybe more. Can't really specify temp, so the patties a bit dry, but well-seasoned and really good beef flavor. I liked the creamy, zingy sauce. But that bacon! Flavorwise, among the best bacon I've ever had. Texturewise, I really liked the thickness and pliability, but this came at the expense of some crispness. I'll take that trade but same may not. I also really liked the bun, which is a seeded briochy model that's less dense than what I've had previously at Tuckaway. Overall, very good burger. Gimme some juiciness and it's a great burger. Fries: They come standard with the burgers and chicken. A small order, but enough to get by and nicely done. Many fries options with various add-ons. You can also get onion strings, even though they're not on the menu. Shake: I went with chocolate. Not as fudgy as some I've had, but tasted very natural, with the milk flavor coming through, no shortage of chocolate, and a consistently that's thick but very drinkable. Good accompaniment to the burger. Chicken Tenders: I split a trio that came with fries and choice of sauce. These were huge and flattened, kinda like a chicken parm. Very crisp, well-seasoned, and juicy in spots, not-so-juicy in other spots. Good flavor on its own and in tandem with our hot honey (generous cup), dry rub (ditto), and both. Friendly staff throughout. Looking forward to coming back.
