    Pizza looks great!

Came here looking for a place that the lady could get her crawfish on. This place reminded me a lot of those hotel restaurants of the past. You remember them? Like walking past the counter and straight to the restaurant where regulars would be to drink their coffee or talk about olden days. The food was good when it came to American fare, but it truly shinned in the seafood department! The crawfish were great!

So...it's never really busy here. Underneath is the restaurant and above is an Inn...hence the name. Parking is minimal but enough for the customers that come. It's in the Jeff hwy area and this area is known for retired folks. This is my second time here. It's cute. There's a salad/soup bar for $7.95. I haven't tried that yet. I have gotten the calamari twice now. I like it a lot! It's crunchy but not chewy. There a marinara sauce, both calamari and sauce are dusted with parmesan cheese. Fried pickles is what I expect from fried pickles. Nothing too special. We also tried the stuffed artichoke! It's good! I've never had one before. Some leaves were edible. When you make your way to the middle, that's where all the edible petals are. It has a really good stuffing. Flavorful. The main reasons I come here is for their Wed/Sat night specials...$5.95 for a dozen raw oysters! Yummy! Can't go wrong with that!!! Lots of lemon wedges, salt and pepper...and go to town. It's nice and cold too! Probably be here every week lol. I can feel my cholesterol climbing! Jk! Our waitress was super nice and accommodating! She remembered me from my first visit! That tells you something!

We stopped in for dinner the night after my wife had gone for boiled seafood with some of her friends. She had raved about the quality of the boiled seafood. We started dinner with some char broiled oysters. My wife thinks the oysters were bigger than those at Drago's last couple of times she ate there. They were good. The rest of dinner for my wife consisted of boiled crab and crawfish. That's why we went. She liked it all, steaming hot and not too spicy. I ordered the fried shrimp plate. (They also serve a platter which is basically a double order of fried shrimp.) Nice size shrimp, lightly battered, slightly seasoned. Cole slaw and fries were my choice of sides. Service from Candice was excellent. The restaurant is split into two large rooms, it was busy, but not packed. There was a steady flow of people coming and going. From the size of the onion ring appetizer, it looked like a meal unto itself.

We had a fantastic meal here today. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The gumbo was fantastic as well. The onion rings were like crack. Come here with a healthy appetite!

The ambiance of Kelley's Village Inn reminds me a groovy 70's restaurant and bar. This is a very popular spot in the area with their offering of boiled crawfish, crabs and shrimp along with raw oysters and chargrilled oysters. Seafood is also offered in the fried variety and the softshell crabs are nice. The menu also offers pizza, pasta, muffuletta, and po boys with one if the best options being Thursday steak night, They offer a lunch buffet that includes salad bar, pizza, veggie of the day and cobbler. As a great bonus there is also a nice selection of 80's video games. Overall this seems like a family friendly neighborhood joint that will have something to make most folks happy at a decent value and allow the adults to enjoy some adult beverages.

Such friendly service. I came in after the buffet, so it was pretty quiet. I ordered the shrimp seafood platter: huge & delicious! I got the mac & cheese for my side, the whole thing came out steaming hot and fresh. I couldn't polish it off, so it will be my dinner too. Only one small suggestion: add and old-fashioned shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. I bet it would be very popular!

I've been eating here for years Great Burgers , club sandwich!! The crawfish are always good an cheap price the raw Oysters are good an on Wednesday an Saturday the dozen raw are like 5.95 the Chargrilled are like 17 dollars a dozen!!! On Wednesday 11 to 2 all you can eat Jumbo Gulf fried Shrimp an other stuff on Buffet Great price!!!!

    Josh B.

I prefer my crawfish a little more spicy but are seasoned nearly perfect! Full of flavor for sure and were juicy! Cooked for the perfect time which made them peel perfectly. Raw oysters on the half shell were great too and can't beat the Saturday special on them!

Old crawfish check yours before you leave!

The espresso flight included pumpkin spice, toasted marshmallow, and cinnamon and all were DELICIOUS! They were full sized and very reasonably priced. The Pumpkin Spice White Russian was a bit of a miss, but our waiter was very accommodating. For starters, we got the Seafood Dip and Zydeco Egg rolls. We knew after these arrived that this would be a new favorite spot. The seafood in both dishes was plentiful and we could not get enough of both dishes. For entrees, the table has the Skirt Steak, Bayou Mac and Cheese, Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinsa, Shrimp and Crawfish Gouda Grits, and Cajun Pasta. We were sharing with one another and did not find anything we didn't like. We decided the pizza was our favorite. The crust was perfect! For dessert, we had the Biscoff Bread Pudding and Blueberry Crumble Cheesecake. The bread pudding was so well done. It wasn't too sweet and the strawberries were perfect! The vibes were super cool with the moody lighting and table lamp. The art was very sleek and modern. We had a great waiter who gave us recommendations, checked in on us often, and was overall very accommodating. One of the best parts, is that for all of our meal we paid a very reasonable price for a quality that was super high. I couldn't recommend this place more!!!

We arrived at 5:40pm and told them 7 people and were told about 40 minutes so we sat at the bar and grabbed a few drinks, waited about 40 minutes are were seated.. perfect timing. Now this is where things start to fall apart.. we sat and waited about 5 minutes for someone to show up and take drink orders and I thought should put in appetizers just in case it takes them awhile to return. A few drinks stumbled out and then appetizers came and the a few minutes later more of the drinks.. weird. Finally we ordered our entrees and while waiting finished our appetizers and then no one came and cleared the table, water was empty, drinks were low appetizer plates and appetizers vessels still on table. And wait for it... here come the entrees.. and they are placing them around an already full table.. was there no dishwashers so they didn't want to take plates back to be washed??? I put about 4 plates where my entree should have gone and they pushed the entree plate next to it and I had to ask them o remove the other plates. I feel like this is too long already.. the food? Tasted odd like it had an odd flavor I ordered the Truffle Butter Steak and it was about the size of my hand and cut in strips with onions rings on top and a small bowl of fries... for $35.00. My stunning wife orders the Shrimp fried rice and she was not impressed I tasted it and it was mushy with small shrimp. Oh I liked the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer that is the reason for the two stars. Bill came and I paid for seven of us and looked the bill and it was $381.00 with drinks no one told me the gratuity was one there already and stupid me did not look and gave them another $80.00 on top of the $60.00 on the bill yep $140.00 for horrible service.. and okay food. If you all read my reviews I honestly try to be fair and hope people have off days.. I am regretting having spent nearly $500.00 on this night

Tasty with an onion/garlicky cream sauce. We had two show stoppers...1. Crispy Cauliflower is in a green-onion/chili-oil/harissa-type red slather. Sooooo good! Then, the VERY BEST 2. Avocado Panzanella: the best I've ever had in America and my best panzanella period! That says a lot as I LOVE them in restaurants globally, including Southern Tuscany/the Isle of Sicily. It's an avocado lover's dream, with plenty of this star ingredient of many chunks of avocado(zero skipping here!), crunchy bread pieces, sun-dried tomatoes, etc., in a creamy, slightly hot honey vinaigrette (I believe). There is a Bay Scallop Aracini we have to try next time. It sounds Great! I LOVE a Bolognese because it takes 12-16 hours to cook/smolder/meld. The Bower takes such time & it's very apparent they care to smother it with plenty of porky and beefy goodness. Amazing entree‼ Lastly, our dessert was a Dark Chocolate-type tort. Not sure if it's "flourless," so I don't want to say that in case you're on a flourless diet. But, if you can, it's fantastic. Thankfully... Not too sweet at all. It's perfect, and I'm not even a typical chocolate person. Pls geaux...youll be very satiated!!!
