I'm well satisfied with Kellogg having used their service for more than a year and a half now. Kellogg services my home every two months at a cost of @$1 a day. @$1 a day really pays off when Kellogg returns half a dozen times over the course of several months at no additional charge to address wasps nesting in a dozen different locations over the course of the summer. Kellogg is a pretty big company with a number of technicians but I've yet to meet one that wasn't responsive and service oriented. Scheduling follow up visits can take two or three working days so you need to be proactive when dealing with ongoing issues. read more

My Technician Devon is great! But the scheduling has always been the issue and that's from the office. You cannot schedule people when it's convenient for your company, it's about the customers schedule. If I repeatedly tell you I will schedule when my time permits me, stop scheduling me automatically 2 weeks later during times I'm at work. You need to understand you cannot and need to stop forcing services unto people and expecting them to flip the bill. This is the exact reason why I'm no longer a customer and did not have my credit card on file. Manager Joe is rude and helps run off customers with his lack of professionalism. I'm a bit disappointed with the service today. I asked the service provider to spray the garage first while I waited for him to finish. When he was done I noticed that his hose reel on his service truck had a steady stream of pesticide that was leaking on the ground into the street gutter. I told him about the leak and he rolled up his hose and decided to spray the rest of the property with his backpack sprayer. So far so good. But when he was done spraying the yard I ask him to come inside and spray the 15 foot square atrium that is actually an outside area but you have to access it through the house. When he was done spraying the atrium and he was walking back out of the house to his truck his backpack sprayer leaked a steady series of drops all across the floor of the house. I don't know who is supposed to maintain the technician's equipment at this company but it seems like it isn't being done properly or maybe even at all. I noticed several worn spots on his spray hose that were not leaking yet but likely would be soon. This truck should have never been sent out with these kind of problems in the first place. The technician saw me wiping up the drops of pesticide off of the house floor and apologized but didn't offer or make any attempt to help clean his mess up. read more

They always call me to inform me before my service, They always use Pet safe chemicals so I don't have to worry about our 2 cats. Best of all, I called to fix an issue with payment, to set up auto-pay, and it was done quite pleasantly within TWO MINUTES. This company is dishonest does poor work and treats their customers and employees terribly. They advertise services they don't intend to actually offer, they will spray your house despite telling them not to, then charge you and put your card on auto pay without your consent. They take advantage of peoples misfortune and try to bully you into outrageous cancel fees that are NOT in your contract. It seems like there is never a real resolution to a dispute as there is never any management available to speak to, just the two girls in the office who seem to be pretty much just working with what they've got, which isnt much. They are not experienced in dealing with rats. I told them about a rat about 6 months ago that I saw going up on to the roof. They did nothing useful to trap it. Several homes in clovis and fresno have been affected by the rat infestations in the past 6 months and these people have been useless afaic. read more

If I could rate less than one star, I absolutely would. Be warned when a pest control company wants you to be committed to a contract. To begin with, I was told that the initial fee would be waived and my monthly bill would be $26, I didn't have any major pest problems, so seemed like a great deal. I was misled to believe my residence would be serviced monthly, which after they did not show up month two I called and was informed that they only come out every three months and I am billed in a chunk of three months, so the $26 bill I was expecting jumped to nearly $90. In that three month time there were countless incidences of cockroaches and other pests in and around my house, which I had not encountered in the years previous. Now, I am moving to a town that they do not service and they are charging me a cancellation fee. Seriously. The three of you that have used this company in the past, with a positive experience, good for you. But if you are looking for a new company I would STRONGLY warn against committing to this sub par pest control company who would feel it necessary to trap you into a contract. read more

The technician that came out was awesome and always polite. My issue is that they charged my card on file without my authorization, and for amounts that were very inconsistent. I didn't have any service from them for 3 months and they decided to just return to provide service at their convenience. Called to get an explanation, spoke to Joe, and he could not clearly explain. WORST PEST CONTROL SERVICE... they secretly put you in to a contract. once you sign for the first service you are signing up for a yearly contract, which they don't tell you about. They will contact you one day before your scheduled service. The service is never on the same day. They will come in the beginning of the month one time and the next come at the end. Asked about additional services and they quoted 4 times more then the next pest control company.. EVEN IF I WAS THERE CUSTOMER they didn't care. I continue to find water bugs, pincher bugs and spiders.. the spiders are not small either!! I will find multiple small spiders and kill them no big deal. But my last straw was finding a thick black spider bigger then a quarter in my bathroom! I call in to explain what has happened and all they say is we will note the account for the next service. Not to mention the attitude customer service team gives. What do I pay for? Horrible customer service, lies, and a service that doesn't work. I have used many other pest control companies over the last 30 years and finally found a great one! Technicians will call me day before to make sure I'm home and set up a time which I appreciate very much, technician always asks me if I'm noticing any specific problems and they will address those , in addition to their standard service of spiderwebs etc. I will be moving to a new home in the next several weeks and without a doubt having Kellogg continue service there. Today I called to postpone my service (mind you I'm not on a contract anymore) and was told I could for one month, but she would transfer me to accounting. Once there, I told the man I wanted to cancel my service and he told me I have to send in a hand written letter within thirty days of my service. I said ok I want to postpone my service a month right now and I'll be by today to drop off my letter. (Since they don't have a fax machine. What kind of company has no fax machine?!?) I just started using Kellogg Pest Control this last winter. I had some rats in my attic and they were able get rid of them. They blocked the holes where they were coming from. KPC has been servicing my home for two years now. The technician is so thorough and friendly. I had a continuing problem with snails and roaches and they came out in between my scheduled visits to make sure they were taken care of AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. I have a small dog and all the pesticides they use are pet friendly. I highly recommend using this company as your regular pest control service. Very affordable and best customer service!! I should have just said no when they showed up with a contract. We never asked them nor wanted them to do the inside of our house, but were still charged full price even though they spent less than 10 minutes on the outside of our house when they came. When we had mice coming into our garage, they told us that the sealed plastic container of dog food at the back of our house was the problem, therefore they couldn't treat it. We had to resolve the pest problem ourselves. When we listed our house and had two services left, they wanted to charge us a $95 cancellation fee. I opted to just have the last two services completed so I would at least get something out of the charge. I gave them two stars because they are literally out nothing by cancelling the service, but still won't cancel without a charge even if you've moved out of the area. The only reason they got two instead of one is because the guys that showed up at the house were friendly despite not being willing to help with the mice in our garage. read more
