From the receptionist to the prep nurse to the anthologist to the surgeon, everyone was polite, cheerful and professional. My prep nurse, Natalie, was especially attentive to my needs. Both the anthologist and surgeon met with me and my wife prior to surgery and took the time to answer any and all questions professionally while still at a level that a layperson could easily grasp. Even after I returned home they were helpful in getting me my meds and dressings sorted out. I would point out that, as I write this, all of the low ratings are NOT about the facility or care, but about problems with insurance coverage. I can only speak to my case, but Camp Lowell Surgery Center led me through the billing process well in advance so that a week before my surgery I had all my ducks in a row, including pre-approval from all three of my providers.

Beware: predatory facility . Apparently they think calling it a surgery center justifies a massive $500 copay for a 15 minute laser eye treatment, plus 3k bill to insurer; while at the other facility, for same process on my other eye, copay was only $120 and insure was billed only $450.

She is a fantastic health care provider, when we talk, I actually feel like I am being listened to. She doesn't just ask the standard questions, she digs for things and goes beyond the typical "standard of care" we have all come to expect. (checklists, "blood pressure, weight, ok see you in 6 months" kinda thing) over the last 15 months, i've gone through 5 or 6 GP doctors, but each time I call to set a new appointment, they are always "no longer working there" or else I dont feel like they actually care about my health. When I heard that Candice was opening her own practice, I got SO EXCITED! because now I have a GP that I already know, trust, and can depend upon. When you call her office, you speak to a real person - not a machine. I can honestly say, she is unlike any care provider that I have ever had. 10/10, if you're looking for a GP, I recommend calling and requesting her to take you on as a patient.

They are a procedure mill! All they are interested in is how many injections they can give you…read more They have insisted on giving me injections about every 4 months or so. They finally started giving me medication about 2 years ago, one of which actually worked, but stopped working after 9 months. Then they gave me an additional medication on top of the 1st one. The 2 together does blunt the pain a bit, but it's still around a 7 on the pain scale. Today I tried to refill one of my pills, but the pharmacy said I had to wait another day! As of tonight, I am out. I have 2 appointments tomorrow morning and I won't be able to go to the pharmacy until tomorrow mid afternoon! 2 pills I will miss because Dr Yang wouldn't let me have my pills on day 29. She doesn't care about my pain! I will avoid her in the future, and I suggest that others do too.

It took most of the next day calling and leaving messages to try to get something for the pain. Never got to speak to a doctor, but was prescribed some Tramadol which barely helped. The day of the procedure, Dr Yang was late, gave me a five minute explanation of what was next and afterwards stood in the doorway of the recovery room and said it went well. Apparently, it didn't go well and the pain continued. Spent the next day in agony trying to reach someone there for help. One one thier Lackeys finally called back and said Dr Yang wanted some X-Rays and prescribed a pain pill called Journavx​ which my pharmacy doesn't carry. I called Pima Pain Center and was told that I would have to find it on my own. On the day the stitches were removed I asked Dr Shiller what was next and was told that was all they could do and good luck. So, if your goal is to visit a Medical Industrial Complex with horrible communication and one phone number, this is the place for you. Personally, I'm now going to Barrow Brain and Spine to see if they can actually help me.

My husband had his first Urology appointment today. He had been having a combination of symptoms…read morethat have ranged from severe abdominal pain to pressure in the lower back and an overall discomfort and pain continuing for the last six months. He has been to several doctors as well as specialists all 'mentioning' possible stones but none ordering the proper test or following up. Meanwhile, my husband on a daily basis continues to be in minor pain ranging up to severe where his mood, lifestyle, energy has been compromised with minimal effort from current doctors to discover issue/issues and find solutions to treat. Here we are today with Dr. Patel with no uncertainty based on my husbands symptoms and pains orders a CT of his entire abdominal area. This is the only test that is precise enough to see very small stones as well as any obstructions or tumors. He is the first Doctor that I felt confident that would eliminate, diagnose and treat my husband without sending him away with an ambiguous condition. Dr. Patel is bright, deliberate with a warm bed side manner. The office staff goes over and above with a smile! When a CT was ordered we immediately went next door to imaging escorted by one of the amazing front desk ladies. When we let them know we would be out of town and then my hubby travels out of state Dr. Patel accommodated him with a same day review and agreement for next day follow up. The office is clean, professional and efficient. I hope for no one to have to land in a Urologist office but if necessary, Dr. Patel and staff are caring and will take great care of you!!
