Kelly Jeep has some of the most disappointing customer service I've experienced. Based on the number of negative reviews here on Yelp, it genuinely feels like customer concerns are treated with complete disregard.. Two weeks ago, I brought my car in for a full diagnosis and paid a $100 deductible to have my screen and windshield gear replaced. I was told the parts needed to be ordered and that I would be notified when they arrived. After a week and a half with no update, I had to call them only to find out the screen had arrived, but the wrong part had been ordered. Not only was this frustrating, but the fact that I had to chase down this information myself speaks volumes about their lack of communication. I was told I'd be contacted when the correct part came in. Days passed -- nothing. I called again and was met with vague answers and no real clarity. I requested a callback from Reese, and I was told he'd reach out, but he never did. After waiting even longer, I went in person. When I spoke to Reese and explained the situation, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. He asked, "What's your issue? All the parts are in stock," in a tone that felt condescending and completely disconnected from everything I had just explained. I ended up scheduling an appointment for the following week--the earliest availability they had. Two days later, I returned for a separate appointment to replace my front tires. I asked Trevor if they could install the screen and windshield gear during that visit so I wouldn't have to come back again. Trevor was unable to provide even basic clarity on the status of my vehicle. He told me the radio wasn't in stock--directly contradicting prior information--and could not answer straightforward questions without deflecting responsibility. Repeatedly saying that Reese "might" know more is not acceptable. At a minimum, staff should be equipped to provide accurate, consistent information or take ownership of finding it. Equally frustrating was the front desk experience. The reception staff came across as disengaged and unhelpful, showing little interest in understanding or resolving the issue. Instead of facilitating communication, I was repeatedly redirected to other departments often without answers creating an unnecessarily difficult and inefficient process. Additionally, when I asked Reese for the cost of my tires, he initially quoted me the wrong price. When I asked him to double-check, he appeared irritated, only to later realize he was off by $40. He must think money grows on trees. That level of inaccuracy when discussing pricing is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was later told that the radio had actually arrived but was sent back after sitting there for nearly two weeks--without anyone ever notifying me. This is not just poor communication; it reflects a complete breakdown in internal processes. At its core, the issue here is a severe lack of coordination between departments. There appears to be no reliable system for sharing information or keeping customers informed, resulting in confusion, wasted time, and an extremely frustrating experience. If necessary, I am fully prepared to take this experience to other platforms like TikTok and tell people about the unacceptable level of service at this location. Service department has horrible communication processes. You need to speak to your service agent only or a manager. Someone is off, on vacation or sick far too regularly for this to be accurate information. The associates are snarky and argumentative depending on who you are speaking with. I have been loyal to Kelly Jeep service dept since 2016. The waiting room is comfy, convenient and clean, as well as their bathrooms, which makes the waiting tolerable. Yesterday, I was not happy. I had a scheduled appt for a simple oil change. After asking, I was insured it wouldn't be longer than an hour and a half. At an hour and forty minutes, I texted asking how much longer. (They provide a text option to communicate while you wait). I was not answered for another fifteen or so minutes. Finally the young man came out letting me know it was done, and to proceed to the cashier. This is where it went bad. The young cashier asked me how I was doing, and I said "Terrible, over two hours for a scheduled oil change?" My voice was calm, and not angry. She said nothing. She didn't apologize for the wait or offer any kindness whatsoever. She told me how much my payment was, didn't thank me and didn't send me off with a "I hope you have a nice rest of your day." Her customer service skills SUCKED. I have been in customer service for my entire career. She was useless. I assume this must happen often bc the other two girls at the desk were just as lame. The woman who used to head up that counter for decades was awesome. They lost a vital worker! These replacements need to step it up. The interesting thing is this is the only time I wasn't followed up by Kelly Jeep asking about my experience. I have never done a review for anything on Yelp, but felt this was necessary. read more

I've been a customer of Kelly Jeep in Lynnfield for about ten years. I've leased multiple vehicles there and always had my cars serviced at this dealership. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. After my last service appointment, I noticed that my vehicle had sustained damage -- the leather interior was scratched, and the windshield was cracked. When I brought this to the attention of the service manager, I was told right away that the dealership would not take responsibility for the windshield (a $1,200 repair) and that I'd need to go through my insurance. They offered to assist with the paperwork, but I don't believe I should have to use my insurance for damage that occurred while my vehicle was in their care. The manager did say he would review the cameras and look into the scratch, which I appreciated, but this experience has shaken the trust I once had in Kelly Jeep. I never used to feel the need to inspect my vehicle before leaving the lot because I trusted their team completely -- unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I also continue to receive notifications about services being due, even for items that were supposedly completed and paid for just last month, which makes me question the accuracy of their service records. To make matters worse, my vehicle was originally in for an airbag sensor issue. They fixed one part, but the airbag light came back on shortly after, meaning I have to return for the second part. It's frustrating that the entire driver's seat wasn't fully inspected during the first visit, as it could have saved time and inconvenience. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Christian C. After being misled at the previous dealer, I thoroughly appreciated his honesty and transparency throughout the whole process. It was quick, easy and stress free. His commitment to his customers is very obvious. I have received several calls and follow up text messages. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that I got the best deal possible. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable. I never felt uneasy or unsure of my decision. I could tell that they care about all of their customers and work very hard to make sure they have a great experience. This is probably way too long of a review, but I've made calls to speak to the service manager & general manager & after 3 weeks of no return calls back I'm hoping this gets someone's attention. I can't believe I'm needing to write this review & re-live the year long saga I had with my Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I'll feel better making others aware to steer clear of this dealership's service department. It's a long story, but my issues with my Jeep all started last December of 2024. The trouble I was having with my vehicle ended up being that the head gaskets were leaking and the coolant was mixing in with my engine oil. I took the vehicle to Kelly Jeep & with an outside warranty it was decided to replace the head gaskets. The whole back & forth process between the dealership & the warranty company took a good month. During this time I had no vehicle & no loaners were available to give to me (of course one magically appeared after the two parties agreed on the services, but that's not as important). So this now brings me to the end of January 2025. I finally get my Jeep back & a few weeks later as I'm driving along the highway with my kids there is a huge explosion from the front of the vehicle. I pull over to one of the shopping plazas & oil is pouring out the bottom of the vehicle. In disbelief I have the car towed once again to the dealership. What apparently happened is one of the rods broke off & pierced the engine block. I had my questions of how this could happen, wasn't the engine checked before it was returned to me, etc. I was reassured this was due to the previous issue with the head gaskets & just an unfortunate side effect. But now I was in an even worse predicament because the only option I have is to have a brand new engine installed. Mind you, the warranty company actually recommended just having a new engine installed as the first option rather than replacing the gaskets & the idea was snubbed by those in the service department. Nevertheless, here I was now needing to have this done. Thankfully I still had the warranty company available & we went forward with the process of having an entirely new engine placed. Getting this coordinated & done took another lengthy amount of time & finally it gets done & I get my car back around March2025. The first day the car back is a pouring, rainy day. I happen to go in the trunk to get something & I find the engine cover to cover the brand new engine sitting in there. Annoyed I take it upon myself to place it back on. When I open the hood I not only find an uncovered engine, but there are socket wrench adaptors & trash sitting around the engine. I called the service employee Reise (who by the way is the only person that works at Kelly Jeep I would say is genuine & actually cares & was extremely helpful to me) about what I found. He apologizes & gives me a $150 credit to use on future services. So this takes me to the summer of 2025 & I utilize the credit to have an oil change done. A few weeks ago I was due for another oil change, & since I had some money left over on that credit I made an appointment to have another oil change done at Kelly Jeep. Unfortunately the day I chose ended up being a snow storm & I had to cancel the appointment. Not having the time to make another appointment & with the extreme cold weather I decided to take the car to a local Valvoline Oil Change in Peabody. When the technicians at Valvoline go to assess the engine air filter to see if it needs replacing they discover a dirty, oil stained rag & a spark plug still in the box in the air filter chamber. So the air filtration of the brand new engine I spent half a year dealing with & over $7,000 out of my own pocket, not to mention what the warranty company paid, has garbage in it. Negligence & sloppiness is one thing, but where's the accountability? You got workers that can't even clean up after themselves or are double checking everything before they return a vehicle back to you that you rely on for almost every facet of life. So was I really crazy to question the issue with the engine rod crashing through the engine block? If they can't clean up or not leave tools & parts in places they aren't supposed to be, am I supposed to believe they did everything correct when they replaced the head gaskets? And what else is going on that I can't see or don't know about. And who's accountable? The service manager is always off or not available for whatever reason when you call. Left a message for the GM & it's been a week of nothing. The first thing I did after this latest episode was put in a case at the Jeep Company to have this on the record. My experience is what nightmares are made of.... Kelly Jeep of Lynnfield is plagued by incompetence, and deceitful practices at the core of their business culture. From your typical bait and switch when purchasing a new car, the hard sell of extras, and zero execution in fixing your new car when it breaks down. They will even go the lengths to attack your character when you questions their business practices. After a year of intentional infliction of emotional distress I finally opted to move to a different Jeep dealership for my warranty repairs. Issues were identified and remediated within 4 business days. They also put my children in danger returning a car to me without completing the work for the car to travel safely. They blatantly lied on multiple occasions that they test drove the car. I'm glad Brian took the time to respond on the below but completely swung and missed. He obviously know who I am and could have called me directly. But they truly dont care. Don't walk, but run to any other dealership. read more

Quite literally the worst car dealership I've ever dealt with in my life. Customer service is terrible and nobody knows what they're talking about. My jeep broke down and was towed to this location. It took them over two months to fix my car and at that point was told the fixes would be free. After weeks and weeks of trying to get in touch with them to have my car fixed or just to figure out what was going on. I finally went to pick it up and they lied about covering the cost. I had to pay out-of-pocket for a rental for almost 2 months straight, which they also said they would cover (for two months straight they claim they had no courtesy vehicles or rentals) and they did not, save yourself the time money and frustration and go somewhere else. read more

I did an extensive research of every Jeep dealerships within a 50 mile radius from us, and found Kelly had one of the best internet pricing. Not all dealerships offer ePrices, but when they do, consumers win. You basically lock in the price before heading over and then they set you up with a sales associate once you get there. The day we went, we locked in a price that was $5278 LESS than the MSRP sticker price on a fully loaded brand new Jeep Renegade 4X4. Stephen Sullivan was our Salesman and he was a total 5-Star from start to finish. I wanted a specific color (anvil) that they didn't have in the lot. He could've lied and told me it was sold, but he didn't. Instead he had 2 men drive to an unspecified lot to bring over the exact car I wanted. It took an additional 40 minutes that was worth the wait. He then worked with me on my trade-in because I was not fully satisfied with what the dealer initially offered. So this feeling of a car salesman looking out for me felt really strange. I mean, have you ever heard of a crazier notion? You're the man, Stephen. While we waited for my car to be serviced, GM Andrew Turransky came over to say hi to us. He brought over 2 Jeep baseball hats for my husband and I. Thanked us for our purchase and hung out with us. Now can you even picture that? You can't because that doesn't normally happen at dealerships. This is a google search of the job description of a GM: To ensure the profitability of the dealership. There is no mention about interacting with customers and thanking them for their purchase. A GM who appreciates his customers and the employees who work for him! Imagine that, crazy right? So why the 4-star? Their Financing Department, which is through Chrysler Capital. I should've listened to my buddy, Jim D, who said to do my own financing before coming here. Shoulda woulda coulda. The weekend we went, Jeep was not offering any finance incentives on their Renegades. Of course right now they do! That figures! Dang it! Anyway, thank goodness my Credit Union has a great refinance rate! Conclusion: I highly recommend Kelly Jeep if you are looking to purchase a car. Found out from Jeep Cares that the dealership didn't take any info for my claim. They (Kelly Jeep) informed FCA that I will need another appointment with them so they can do their job correctly. No one from Kelly Jeep ever reached out to me to make an appointment. It is safe to say they will not do anything to help a customer. If you're buying a car or need service for your car this will be the level of effort associated with the name "Kelly". Jeep Cares ended up assisting me all the way through. Stay away. Long story short...our salesman was polite and professional. He did a great job. We made a deal and signed a contract. When wife returned a few days later, the finance manager had changed some of the numbers on the contract he had her sign. She didn't catch it (and it wasn't a huge amount of money) until she called me to confirm the amount of the balance due prior to delivery. That was the last straw after several "red flags" which indicated an unacceptable level of incompetence or potentially attempted fraud (imo). What ensued was the FM telling my wife she could not cancel the contract at that point, which is not only very unprofessional, but is a violation of MA Law. A sales manager had to get involved to save face and at the end of the day, the contract has been cancelled and the CC deposit was returned as demanded before the end of the week. Will not shop at a Kelly Dealership again and will not let friends or family go there if asked. Don't bother..:but if you do, check your paperwork carefully and refuse to be bullied. KELLY JEEP DOES NOT MAKE IT EASY. Absolutely the worst customer service from the service department and the receptionists. This is short condensed version its a lot worse than this. So my jeep has been in for service 2 times over the last 2 months. They have now had my jeep the second time for almost a month now. All I wanted was simple phone call with an update on what's going on with my jeep as I was told by Clayton when i dropped my jeep for service the first time. The service advisor was supposed to call they don't call for days. So I call and I have to leave messages then I don't get called back. I call again I'm hung up on. I call again i finally get thru and I'm told they don't know whats going on they will call and update in 2 days. Days go by again no call. Finally get jeep back first time it's not fixed right gotta bring it back. Idk it yet but its more broken than before i brought it in. So now I've gotta make another appointment and bring it back again in 2 weeks. During this time my jeep is having more issues than before I brought it in for service. 2nd time Wednesday june 1st drop it off Clayton tells me he will call me on Friday with update. Fri comes and goes, sat comes and goes so finally I call Monday and speak with Joe. Joe says he will call me back in 30 mins with update. 30 mins no call I call next day and get run around. I call leave messages no calls back I call back try to speak to management they connect me with the assistant manager Moses. I tell him the problem ive been having and wanted to pick up my jeep and he says he will take care of things and ill be getting updates even if he is the who updates me. Does that happen? No it does not. so I've got to call them again and play the phone game leaving msg no call back they just put me on hold then hang up or transfer me to recodings of advertisements that are 3 years old. This goes on for weeks. I open a jeep cares case and jeep cares can't even get in touch with them to get info. The reason is because Andrew the service manager only communicates with jeep cares thru emails. So still no updates cause we are waiting for Andrew to answer emails to get my vehicle fixed. Finally I tell jeep cares I want to take my jeep else where it had been 2 weeks no UPDATES from anyone at Kelly. Jeep cares said they will email letting them know that I want to pick my vehicle up and also that they would call and let them know. I also called I had no luck and was told that everyone was gone for the day. Then after jeep cares gets thru i believe I get a call from the service advisor who i was told by the lady at the front desk 10 mins before that he was gone for the day. So clayton gives me what he calls an update. He tells me they THINK there is an issues with an electrical connection wait to hear more and no update on any other issues. My jeep has multiple issues 1 possibly caused by them cause its related to the things they fixed already (its not fixed). Its been there a month and they have only looked into 1 of the issues none of the separate issues have been looked into well waiting to hear from jeep what to do about it. They say they are waiting for the OK from mopar/jeep to get the fix. They have the OK from jeep cares if Andrew would check his emails and respond. So I tell them I'll be taking my business else where beacause the customer service is horrible no one should have to go thru what I have dealt with at Kelly Jeep over the last 2 month and I still don't have answers. Now I'm picking my jeep up and I have to make an appointment to take it somewhere else have them fix it and start all this again because kelly jeep. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure the car had the safety options that were important to me, even going so far as to testing the vehicle himself with a coworker acting as an approaching car. He was very friendly and very efficient, moving the process along quickly. I never felt pressured and he helped me get a fantastic deal. Kayla was also very helpful and friendly and efficient in helping me at the beginning of my search to give me online details of the car and to set up an appointment. They have gone from a respectable dealership to a completely dishonest business run by people who lie and try to take advantage of their customers. I have been going to Kelly for over 5 years, bought two cars from them and have used them for every single service appointment. I have noticed a significant drop in the quality and value of service. They have new management in the service department and it's obvious. I dropped my car off last week to have my front break pads done and they also wanted to do a more extensive oil change (they didn't explain it well but basically replacing a lot of fluids and filters) as the car just hit 60,000 miles. The Service Rep that I dealt with tried to take advantage of me by saying I needed both my front and rear breaks replaced, but I remembered that I had just had my rear breaks done almost exactly a year and a half ago (and nearly 20,000 miles whereas the car had 40,000 on it before they had to be replaced). I pushed back and said that I had just done the rear done and they admitted that the rear breaks were at "50%" and it was in fact not necessary to replace the rear breaks. (But this hasn't stopped them from emailing me twice since to tell me that I refused a recommended service). On top of that, they charged me $1,195 dollars for the labor on the vehicle and it was there for all of 5 hours to do the oil change and replace the front break pads. This dollar amount is outrageous and nowhere near the amount of labor that I have been charged on all of my previous bills. When I contested the cost of the break pad parts because I had my previous bill, the Manager came out and tried to tell me that they were using higher quality parts this time around and that the breaks would last longer this time. If you look at the two bills, the SKU#s match and besides that point, they told me last time I had the rear breaks done that they were using the higher end factory models. He lied right to my face and expected me to believe him just "because"....likely because I am not an expert on cars. This Manager looked me right in the eye and talked out of his behind several times throughout the conversation. I have owned Jeeps for over 20 years and would have a good consistent customer for many years to come. I will never be going back despite the "$100" credit they threw at me after admitting they were in the wrong. On top of all of this, after my service appointment, my car stopped lowering in park mode, so I brought it back in to have them look at why that function isn't working.... 3 hours later, we had no answer for it except that they had the car in "service mode" and didn't switch it back for me. The car still isn't lowering the suspension in park mode and I am likely going to have to pay for this at some point. They completely wasted my time and money and have lost a customer forever. Attached are receipts for the difference in prices that they charged from Nov 2021 to May 2023..... I understand "inflation" but this is over a 50% increase. Went in last week hoping to get a new car... I dont really ever do research when buying cars, as much as I would love to do the whole Look, Drive, Walk away.. But who really has the time for that?! So I walked in (was told to ask for someone but he wasnt there that day) So ended up working with Yamen & he was great. Kelly doesnt let you drive the car off the lot (they have to - as Im sure pulling onto Rt 1 isnt easy if you arent an experienced driver) So we were able to swap out in the Church parking lot across the street and then after driving Yamen allowed me to drop him off & take the car out just us (Mom and I- as she will also be driving the car) We tried the Compass, the Patriot & loved the Patriot... Then comes the fun part, far too many hours spent in negotiations, we finally ended at a point we liked, then unfortunately we didnt make the RMV Cutoff which means I had to go back another day... I would have totally given more stars had they had a better knowledge of how long things would have taken and rushed us or stated early on that we would have to come back. That would have saved us a lot of time. So then we went back the next day & delivery was effortless... Will go there for my first "Free" oil change & then Ill update if needed as time goes on! read more

Awful customer Service!! Pushy Salesman Pablo!! My wife was there to look at cars as her lease was ending in a little over a month. Pablo pushed her to purchase a new vehicle even though she had over a month left on her lease. Did we get refunded for the last month of the lease that we didn't have the vehicle.....Of course not. We were then issued a bill for $1200+ on the vehicle that was returned a month early and had 4 minor scratches after a 3 year lease. When I asked why we wouldn't be given a chance to take care of the 4 minor scratches prior to being charged, since the vehicle was returned a month early, I was given the run around. Since then after several phone calls, I am basically told by the dealership they can't do anything. Do yourself a favor and pick a different dealer. We were repeat customers and still got the run around. They don't care about the customer and will do whatever it takes to sell cars. They lost a repeat customer who is 34 and would have been buying cars for 30+ years. Not good business sense. Pictures show 4 damages marked by dealer when the car was dropped off, but then charged for 11 issues from the bank. ??? read more

***BE CAREFUL!!!*** This past August, at least a new Jeep Wrangler 4XE, which is the new plug-in hybrid, from Kelly Jeep in Lynnfield. At the time of the transaction, the sticker price was $62,000. Only a couple weeks afterward, I experienced sudden engine failure while driving the vehicle. I contacted the dealership who told me to bring the vehicle in right away. I was told they did a comprehensive evaluation and that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Over the course of the next couple of months, the electric mode failed. I frequently got an error message stating that the electric mode "was not available". I was scheduled to go on vacation with my family and planned to follow-up with the dealership afterward. Upon my return from vacation, I was alerted that there was a recall for the exact make and model due to "engine failure". I immediately contacted Kelly Jeep who stood by their initial report that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. However, after I got it serviced they confirmed that there was a malfunction. I left the vehicle at Kelly Jeep the following weekend to address the electric mode issue. Upon pickup, I was told that the vehicle's electric mode does not work in the cold weather. I was told to reach out to Jeep's Corporate office. Of note, I also became alerted to the fact that there is a Class Action Lawsuit for this exact issue. Jeep did reach out to me and offered a special incentive to get me into another Jeep, which I accepted. I initially tried to go through Kelly Jeep but was told that I still owed for the Wrangler. Jeep Corporate spoke with them and advised me to go to a different dealership. I then went to Sudbay in Gloucester, who asked me to bring that vehicle up for an inspection and that they would speak to the corporate office directly. I was then told that the amount of money that corporate had offered for trade in assistance was not enough as I still owed money on the Wrangler. Even worse, they told me that the 6-month-old car had depreciated $22,000. I reached back out to my contact at corporate but I have not heard anything since. As the weather started getting colder, the electric mode stopped working altogether. I have photo and video evidence of this defect. The car shakes once 70mph is reached as well. Kelly Jeep was notified and I was simply reminded of the class action, which absolutely floored me. I requested documentation of failed repairs but I've yet to have my call returned. Ideally I would like to simply return the vehicle and get my down payment back. The car is not only a lemon, it is dangerous to drive DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! read more

I bought a Certified Presale 2016 Audi from Kelly Jeep Lynnfield in Sept 2021. Within a week of my purchase there was an issue with my coolant system and water pump. I brought the car back and was told there was nothing wrong with it. 2 weeks later, I had to bring it back and low and behold there was a leak in the water pump. Kelly jeep outsourced the labor to Audi of Peabody and my car spent about 3 weeks at the body shop. The service manager at Kelly Jeep at the time Kolby was one of the rudest people I have ever experienced. Refused to give me a rental and asked for my credit card for the rental. Didn't even run the card, just took my credit card, looked at it and said "good I just wanted to make sure we had a way to charge you for damages if there are any. Make sure you don't smoke in the car." And that was pretty much it. My car got repaired three weeks later and I thought I was done. A week ago, Tuesday August 30th, my coolant system failed while I was on the highway and I immediately called Kelley Jeep. I have put less than 7500 miles on the car in the year I have had it. I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for the service manager , Jonathan, and a receptionist told me there was no possible way I waited 45 minutes to speak to him. When I finally got Jonathan on the phone, he basically told me there was nothing I could do but call Audi of Peabody because they did the work. After going back and forth for a few minutes, He called and made a service appointment for me, despite him insisting I do it myself because he didn't have anything to do with my car. After he set up the appointment I received a voicemail from Jonathan that basically just said stop the car off and that's it. I called back to request information and to know if the damages would be covered under the warranty of the 2021 repair, and I was told absolutely not they wouldn't pay for anything and would no longer help me and the work was warrantied under Audi not them. Kelly Jeep paid for the work to be done, and the car was purchased and repaired less than a year ago. The Kelly Jeep Moto "we make is easy" and they make nothing easy. I highly recommend anywhere besides this dealership. They do nothing to help their customers and don't stand behind their sales. If there was a negative rating it would be that. read more

The worst experience I've had at a dealership or any place of business. Extended warranty on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee ends THIS Dec. or at 100k miles. My car is at 101k miles and the dealership and warranty team/service team/ sales team will not cover or make exception. We originally had the car towed to our local mechanic who confirmed the issue is, in fact the engine. Kelly is weeks out from even being able to run diagnostics for $199 no less, with no available loaner and refuses to make an exception AFTER I spoke with Jeep Support for HOURS yesterday and they said to have the car brought there. Not to mention I have called numerous times and spoke to different people--- not once did they have my phone number, VIN or any notes. Kelly does not care about customers. This was an opportunity to earn a client for life and we are now in the process of having the vehicle towed elsewhere. They've left us with NO viable options and don't seem to care a bit or stand behind their product whatsoever. All I get is " it's an older car" it's FIVE YEARS OLD. Will NEVER purchase another vehicle from here or refer anyone. RUN read more

Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Brought in vehicle for 20k maintenance, yellow check engine light, and inspection sticker. The vehicle is 15 months old and was purchased at this dealership (along with a 100k mile warranty). I was told 1 hour wait time at beginning of appointment for all three items. After 2 hours I checked in at service desk and the representative "forgot to come get me" when my vehicle was done. By done, he meant they completed the 20k service, but not the inspection sticker or the diagnosis of the check engine light. I'll have to return to the dealership to get those done (although at the onset of the appointment I was told they would be completed within the hour). They also "forgot" to wash the vehicle and the "vacuum was broken" so they couldn't clean the inside of the car either. So I have to go back and spend another half-a-day at the dealership. Not tomorrow morning, first thing, but in 8 days which was their next available appointment. My wife called to talk to the service manager but he was "in a meeting and will call as soon as he gets out." Still waiting on that call... No apologies, no offers to take care of it sooner, no mention of a loaner vehicle for the second trip to the dealership, no call back. No nothing. Everyone is short staffed these days, many people are trying their best, and I am typically very lenient when it appears that a team or individual is clearly overworked or understaffed. This wasn't even close to the boundary of what I'd deem acceptable for service on a even in today's challenging employment climate. read more

I bought a 2 year old jeep. They talked me into buying extended warranty. And a tire warranty. For an additional $3000. I got a flat tire when I brought it to Kelly to replace because I had bought the tire warranty. Kelly jeep told me the tires were to old and not covered by warranty. I spoke to the manager and told him I had bought the jeep and tire warranty from Kelly jeep about a year ago. Kelly still didn't fix tires. So I had to go to a tire company ntb the told me the tires were 6 years old and all needed to be replaced. 6 year old tires on a 2 year old jeep. Kelly jeep is full of dishonest people from the salesman to the management. There are other jeep dealers. STAY AWAY FROM KELLY JEEP THEY ARE A RIP OFF. Bought a brand new Jeep Rubicon in late May 2024, and it now has about 2,300 miles on it. On 8/19, the check engine light came on, and I called the service department. They gave me an appointment 8 days later on 8/27, supposedly the earliest they could get. Kept my vehicle all day, never called me to update me. I called them from work late in the day, and they told me it was all set. I took a Lyft to go pick it up. Guess what? Check engine light came on immediately, before I even left their parking lot. They told me to bring it back- 3 days later on 8/30 (ridiculous). I was late for work, yet again, on that day. They had it all day again, never called me, so I called them. Told me they can't figure out what the problem is. So I had to ask them for a loaner, and they gave me a ridiculous looking Jeep, not what I've paid for. It had about a quarter tank of gas in it, and they had the nerve to ask me to bring it back full. They are telling me, they still can't figure it out. Maybe some day next week, they say. No phone calls from them. No updates. Nothing. Our sales person was fantastic, no issues there at all. However, the service department and the overall leadership is terrible in our experience. read more

What do you think of when you hear the phrases "Car Salesmen" or "Car Dealers"??? Personally, I think of times I've been outright lied to, misled or otherwise scammed by pushy dealers who "want to get this done TODAY!" I can't stand that kind of crap! My wife and I were looking to lease a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. Along for the ride so to speak with us, my parents were looking to trade in their 10 year old car and buy a new car outright (a Cherokee Limited). Now most folks when they lease/buy a car have specific numbers in mind that they want/need to hit to make things work financially-my wife and I were definitely in that category as far as monthly price/terms etc etc. After visiting several Jeep dealerships in the metro Boston area, being lied to on price, pressured to do a deal, becoming frustrated and hating car dealers and the ridiculous haggling in general, I picked up my phone one morning and called up Kelly Jeep. I was connected to Anna Rescigno in the online sales department. She was an absolute pleasure to work with-I basically said "Hi, I'm looking for a Jeep Cherokee Latitude with XYZ options, I need a lease, I've got a trade in, I need to hit $XXX price a month or better and I am SICK AND TIRED OF THE BS!" I then explained to her a few of the shady things that had happened on our previous visits to dealers. She was understanding and went over several different Cherokees with me at different price points. To be honest, the first one she picked out and emailed to me was THE ONE... It had all the options and more that we wanted. I then told her what my parents were looking for in the Cherokee and she again sent over several different options/price points. That same night after work/dinner, we all drove up to Lynnfield from Boston and by the luck of the draw we were paired up with Scott Lassiter as our Salesman. Now, my first impression of Scott after speaking to him for a few minutes was "this guy seems different from the other guys" and that was definitely correct. Scott was patient, got us the model we wanted that Anna had sent, hooked my parents up with several options for them, made about 35 trips back and forth to the shark tan... Uh... Finance office. (Seriously Kelly-get a moving walkway willya!) During the "negotiaton" period, not once did Scott lie to us, mislead us, pressure us, or in any way, act like you'd think a car salesman would to quickly close a deal! My parents wound up with a 2015 Cherokee Limited and my wife and I wound up with that first Cherokee Latitude that Anna emailed us-all of this is due to the great work of the entire team at Kelly Jeep-particularly Scott and Anna. When I tell folks about my experience at Kelly, I like to call Scott Lassiter "the anti-car salesman-car salesman" and that's because he's got integrity, patience to help you get the right deal done with the finance guys, a great attitude and if for some reason, he CAN'T get a deal done because it just won't work, he's going to TELL you that and give you some options. I sure will be hoping he's still there when it's time for us to turn the lease in because I wouldn't want to go to anyone else! read more
