Highly recommend this business! Found it on Yelp and met with owner who is very knowledgeable about older cars, hybrids and newer vehicles. We have 3 cars that cover all categories and the work was perfect to put an old TBird back on the road after needing a ton of work from prior owner who was elderly and didn't notice things like the tire rods being broken, needing new brakes calipers ect. Our 13 year old hybrid was also in their capable trusted hands here too so they will run another 100 thousand miles more! They did a superior job on the Ford that has over 100K and was serviced at the Ford Dealership for years and they had incorrectly overfilled they transmission fluid so it burned on the engine and didn't put engine cover back on correctly for prior owner at the local Ford dealership in the Beverly area and they were horrible more than once to me like I had 3 heads when questioned their work! !My 10 year old Toyota will be taken here once my prepaid plan at Toyota dealership expires. My car was in need of an oil change badly since it was sitting in my driveway for over a year unused and I ended up selling the GTI to my sister in law. She was in the area asking me for recommendations nearby and I told her to call Ryan at A&K Automotive and ask if he uses Liqui-Moly motor oil. Surprisingly, he does! It's a really good motor oil -- a bunch of the GTI guys do blackstone lab reports on it and the results are fantastic! It's amazing to know that these guys use the good stuff. And they used a Mann Filter! I'm very happy with the parts they use for the oil change. Can't recommend these guys enough. Ryan is great! I found him from his glowing yelp reviews and im glad I gave it a shot. Got quotes on a couple of things from other "fanicer" shops and they wanted a significant amount more money than what i was quoted here. He takes the time to explain and show you the issue. Being a young girl in her 20s many car mechanics will try to scam you and tell you you need to do things that really aren't necessary, but he was friendly and honest.
