VERY RUDE staff, specifically receptionists!! We LOVE Dr. Kelly and we appreciate her business with us, but her receptionists should learn how to treat her customers. I was running a bit late because of work emergency and I called them back saying that I'm running late and I'm on my way and if that's ok. That receptionist (I wish I asked about her name) told me no, today wont work anymore because you're 23 mins late which is from your appt, that is 45 mins and they have a patient right after. After leaving work and all the hasstle I dealt with to go to my appt, I said ok, can I reschedule then? I scheduled another appt - and she wasn't very nice through the process - and when we agreed on a time, I said I will call in the morning (early) if for any reason I wont be able to make it. she was like I can't do that because it has to be a solid confirmation. I said, it is! I meant in case of work emergencies (I promise work emergencies is out of one's hands!!) and finally after arguing, she was kind enough to put me down for that time! Seriously?! That's IN ADDITION to promising to call me and my husband to schedule appts for us and they never did, and its past 3-4 months already (not sure if its the same person, but I think it is because she was rude when we were talking to her on the phone about charges and other things regarding our dental cases). I'm an Industrial Engineer and I know all about businesses/industries and how they run - from a hospital to a small drive thru business. If there is only one person working and you have tons of customers, you should pay the extra money and spend an extra time to hire more people, so in case of emergencies like this, you don't turn your customers down after having them drive already or leave work, considering that not every work/job is easy enough for its employees to leave! BASICS: if the demand is more than the supply, DO SOMETHING to improve your business! What happened today was such a bad experience and reputation for new customers, like myself and my family. Instead of taking the time and the money to hire at least two people to work, you will lose at least 5 customers - if not more - and I'm sure you don't want that because Dr. Kelly is a great doctor, but bad/rude/unwelcoming staff can be a turning point to any place/business (in a bad way, of course). I know what I'm talking about because that's my work and that's what I do. I'm upset to say that I loved the services and the doctor there, but I'm not sure if my family and I will continue going to this place. =( read more

I was referred to this dental office by a local orthodontist, as I had recently moved to the area and was searching for a new dentist for my entire family. I typically don't leave reviews--especially negative ones--but I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make informed decisions about their dental care. Unfortunately, I am truly appalled by what has transpired. From the moment I became a patient at this office, it feels as though my dental issues began. Most concerning is that I am now afraid to eat, fearing that the fillings placed on my front teeth--by this very office--will completely fall out. The dentist assured me these fillings would last at least two years. However, just a few weeks later, both have already failed. Chunks of the fillings--and my actual front teeth--began breaking off within weeks of the procedure. I've since had to seek care from another dental professional to begin addressing the damage left behind. This has been both emotionally distressing and financially burdensome. My husband has also experienced issues with the dental work performed at this office, specifically with the fillings on his back molars. He returned to address his concerns, and the staff simply stated that the fillings were "high" and that the discomfort would subside over time. In an attempt to correct the issue, they ended up drilling part of his upper tooth to adjust the bite. Despite this, he continues to experience discomfort. What's especially troubling is that, unlike me, my husband has never required orthodontic or periodontal treatment--he has had a relatively problem-free dental history until now. I've undergone a variety of dental treatments over the years, including periodontal care, orthodontics, and general dentistry, and I have never experienced this level of failure or concern. What was meant to be a routine visit has now turned into an ongoing dental nightmare. read more

This was by far the best dental experience I have ever received. To begin, the customer service surpassed my expectations. The dentist and the dental assistants were amazing. I made an appointment for 4PM with Cathy and I arrived there 10 minutes early to fill out forms. After filling out forms, I waited less than five minutes before being sat down in a dental chair. EACH dental room had their own massage chairs as well as cable TV. Sylvia was my dental assistant, and she was literally the best. She was very friendly and very informative, explaining everything there was to know about my teeth. She proceeded with an x-ray (which was in the same room) and made me feel welcome as if I was a part of the family. Shortly afterward, Dr. Kim came in and provided me with a full detailed analysis of what was going on inside my mouth. Due to wanting a clean, the hygienist (unfortunately forgot his name) gave me an over-the-top clean and educated me about maintaining oral hygiene. Before I left, I was given a small gift and Priscilla finished up my paperwork at the front desk. Overall, this was the absolute best dental experience I have ever had and can confidently say that I will definitely be coming back for their services as well as their hospitality. I hate dentists. It's nothing personal. I just hate their professions. After seeing the same dentist for a few years, I decided it might be time for a new one. So I found Dr. Kelly Lam through Yelp (of course). My first visit was an emergency visit, an infected tooth right before Labor day made me call, afraid that I wouldn't find anyone to treat me if it got worse through the long holiday weekend. They worked me into her schedule and spent nearly two hours with me, understanding my fear of dentists and treating the pain in my face. I've been back since to have more work done and to see the dreaded dentist. And as far as dentists go, she is the best of the best. Dr. Lam is nurturing and caring and took the time to understand my dislike of her profession as well. She even called me at home at 8 PM the night of my first visit with her to be sure I was okay. I still don't like dentists but if I *have to* have my teeth cleaned, I wouldn't have anyone else do it. The entire staff at this office is amazing. Dr. Lam is gentle, understanding, and extremely thorough. I cannot say enough good things about her. Everyone greets me by name and makes me feel like a lifelong friend. THe office is clean, bright and uncluttered. I move frequently but will always be her life-long patient and am currently driving about 45 minutes to see her. read more

Dr. Kelly and staff are amazing! They greet you with a smile and treat you with kindness and it's a kid friendly atmosphere. I recently started treatment for our 4 year old and so far so good, they allow us the time to settle her nerves and have a good visit every time. Due to the amount of work needed to be done Dr. Kelly has gone above and beyond and allowed us to do mini sessions every time and my 4 year old leaves with a smile. I love the fact that she gives us more that one option and does not force any treatment that I am not comfortable with and we are able to take the less invasive option. Coming from a previous dentist that traumatized my 6 year old from only giving us a very invasive treatment plan, I am happy to say that Dr. Kelly is just what our family needed. read more

Dr. Freddie is kind, professional, and incredibly gentle -- he made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and explained everything clearly. The procedure itself was quick, painless, and handled with such care. I really appreciated how attentive he was, always checking in to make sure I was doing okay. Went in today, what a great dentist office. It is very clean and inviting. The girls in the front are so friendly professional and efficient. After my x rays everything was explained in detail for me. Saw Dr. Lam, again efficient friendly, felt very at ease. I knew going in I needed work done. I usually go home think about it and "maybe" call back. Before I left I made the appointment, that's how much I enjoyed the environment of this dental office. Dr. Kelly Lam's office is AMAZING. They are the most helpful and professional Dentist Office I have ever been to. They care about their patients every need starting from the Receptionist when you enter who is so detailed with everything she does, to Kelly who takes her time to make sure every patient receives the utmost attention and care. Came in for exam, though they close at 5, dr kelly and staff stayed to 6:30pm to do my work same day! Office is like a family, and treat u the same. Environment is holistic and high tech. Xlnt technique, meaning no pain. Their thoughts are for you, not up sells. No judgement, ie, my teeth are not great. Staff chats with you like normal people. My family was invited into room to wait with me. Found here on yelp, believe the other reviews. One shortcoming is no nitrous oxide, but I still will go to her, xlnt! I am (was) "extremely" afraid of Dentists. Over 70 and seen a dentist maybe 5 times in my life. My great service started when I walked in the office. The receptionist was welcoming; the Dr.s assistant, Sylvia, understood my anxiety and made me feel relaxed. I actually laughed in a Dentist office. Had a great Dentist appointment with Dr. Kelly. The office staff is above and beyond knowledgable and friendly. My hygienist is the bomb, she gets those little nooks and crannies that I just can't get to. My teeth feel so fresh and smooth when I'm done, it's like a mini spa day.
