    Spicy chicken combo
    Jason C.

I had the spicy chicken combo with veggies and sautéed noodles as my sides. The chicken was okay overall but not very spicy. The veggies were well-cooked if a bit greasy. I found this also to be true for the noodles. The flavors all tasted right for mall food court semi-Asian food, and it was very affordable. Keep in mind that they try to sell you the two chicken entree combo as a special, but it's actually more expensive if you're not into that.

Not bad, for mall food. The bourbon chicken was fine, and I liked the Cajun potatoes side dish.

But what really made the experience special was the service from Brittany (I believe that was her name). She mentioned that she was newer, but you never would have known it. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had a great experience. Great food paired with genuinely exceptional service. I'll definitely be back!

I will start by saying that our server was helpful and attentive! So this is nothing against our service. The consistency of the food is where there were problems. The Not-So-Good Food Unfortunately, the French onion soup dumplings were undercooked. We could tell they would have been good if they were allowed the time to cook through. Additionally, the soft shell crab Bao buns were very salty and tasted a bit off. The Good Food We enjoyed the General Cho's soup dumplings and the sticks of wagyu beef were also good. Nothing to write home about, but nice to try. We were there on a Tuesday, so all day happy hour applied. We took advantage of the happy hour, but noticed that it wasn't much of a deal. For instance, they charge $7 instead of $16 for their dumplings, but they don't state that it's a half portion. Most happy hour items are like this, a half portion that equates to the same price per unit or $1 cheaper per unit compared to the regular menu. It felt a bit misleading and frustrating when you add the inconsistent food quality. I suspect this was a recent change, because many reviews have mentioned the excellent happy hour deals.

My favorite was the French toast, crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and savory on the inside. It was also good I usually don't like anything with coconut and this has it in there. Never would've guessed that's what I was eating because of the way they incorporated all of the other ingredients! Me and my friends ate the ants on a tree, the Korean chicken, sweet and sour chicken, the potatoes, French toast, and the Korean corn dog. We shared everything and all were very full by the end. It was a great atmosphere to have a delicious dinner with friends!

Not just a little, it added an almost acrid flavor. The chicken was cooked fine. We ordered the cha siu and tom yum Noodles. The cha siu was fine, but, definitely overcooked, the lack of sauce just made it just a cooked piece of pork, rather than what is truly "cha siu" I truly had a gripe with the $24 tom yum noodles. Immediately as I arrived I knew what this was - this is mama noodles, $0.25 cent mama noodles packets but made with spaghetti - and completely salty and inedible at that. Truly, the profit margin on this dish must be astronomical. // I just checked, they were going to charge me $28 dollars - I asked to sub out shrimp since I was allergic, and TWO pieces of tofu was an additional $24+4 - insane? We had the eggplant as a replacement, it was fine. My server attempted to explain away the tom yum noodles as being too "green onion forward" - lady, I literally make mama noodles at home everyday. Don't sell me a fake story. It's an okay restaurant, slightly higher prices due to its renown. But it's clear the owners are not Chinese, Thai or Korean. At this point in my life, I don't like leaving a bad review, but mid food layered with mild deceit leaves a bad taste.

I went in last night as it seems the sign had changed. Went to pickup my food and spoke the the man behind the counter and he said it was still same owner as Totts so I was excited to get home and eat. Food was fresh and hot along with a good size portion, but meat was flavored less and super salty but tender. Lol there was no juice or sauce in the dish at all along with no flavor on the veggies which I had ordered snow peas, Typically it still has some other Asian style of addition like bokchoy and water chestnuts. Nada even a carrot. Bland sauce less yuck!!! Egg drop was lacking flavor as well. Yes egg and some corn thick with little flavor. A package from the store has better flavor. Totally bummed

Starting with the better items, the sesame shrimp was decent. The breading was a little unusual, but it had good flavor. Still, nothing that really stood out. The crab rangoons were also just okay. They were labeled as crabmeat cheese rangoon's, but after eating a few, it was apparent that there was no crab at all, just cheese, which was pretty disappointing. They were honestly some of the worst I have tried. The wonton soup was not great either. It did not taste like wonton soup I have had before and was also sort of bland. That said, it was still edible. Now for the bigger issues. The chicken with snow peas was extremely bland, like no seasoning was added at all. The chicken itself was watery and tasted very cheap, which made the whole dish pretty unappetizing. The beef lo mein had the same problem. I have never had lo mein this flavorless before. The noodles and beef both lacked any real taste and just did not come together well. The last thing I will say is that it is overpriced for what you get. The portion sizes are solid, but the flavor and quality do not match the price at all. I am not someone who usually criticizes restaurants or even leaves reviews, but this was a major letdown. I just want to help others avoid spending their hard earned money on food that does not live up to expectations.

Foods - Wonton Soup: 2/5 hot almost salty water with a mushy wonton in it, not something I'd order without the lunch special - Fried Rice: 2/5 very tasteless needs a lot of seasoning - Egg roll: 3/5 hot and crispy but again no taste, just cabbage inside - Kung Pao Trio: 3.5/5 nice presentation, crispy vegetables. Meat is mushy, but shrimp actually decent. Not really spicy, but a solid salty sauce I suppose. Value: 5/5, impossible to find a $10 lunch option in 2025. Overall: I think I wouldn't take a date here, but for a takeout spot for your lazy weekday lunch, why not. Hits the spot for bad American Chinese food. 3.5 / 5
