I visited this afternoon with a friend for lunch, and I'm honestly shocked with how few patrons were there for lunch because this place was delicious. The avocado spring rolls with the homemade peanut sauce was divine, probably the best peanut sauce I've ever had! The rolls were stuffed with avocados, pickled daikon, pickled carrots and lettuce -- it tasted super fresh and the employee said they prepare everything fresh daily. I got the well done brisket and flank pho, and it was really good. They bring a big plate of sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños. The broth was delicious even before adding sriracha, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The bean sprouts did look on the browner side by a small bit and I don't know if it was dirt or not as fresh, but I didn't care, it was going to go in the pho and I eat everything anyways. The server also helped me pack my pho for leftovers, and separated the noodles and broth for me. Overall 10/10, can't wait to come back and try more. read more

Conveniently located in the Belmar Mall area but a little out of the main shopping area, Pho Saigon can be easy to miss. There is a parking lot not too far from it but also street parking is usually easy to find right outside too. Overall, the food was pretty good. I would personally recommend going to Federal for the real deal but if you're in the area and don't want to drive, this is a good choice. The broth of the pho was actually really good and had tons of flavor. My main complaint was the size of the "large" pho. It was closer to a medium or even a small of other restaurants I've been to but priced the same... I would've also liked to have chili sauce but they just had hoisin and sriracha. Service wasn't bad but we did have to call them over a few times even though it wasn't very busy that day. read more

Honestly I was hesitant to try this place because I use to live by a lively Vietnamese community and they had some AMAZING mom and pop pho restaurants. HOWEVER, I thought the food was absolutely delicious, we went around 2:30 for lunch and it was dead a couple people came in for take out. The service was really good and friendly and I enjoyed the music they were playing as well. I got beef pho (13p to be specific) and my wife got veggie pho w/ tofu. Both broths were very flavorful and the small had enough for us to be take a bit of leftovers home. I also got the spring rolls and they were definitely bigger than I was use to which no complaints here on that but so good and their peanut sauce was BOMB. This is a staple here in Belmar. They have the best Pho. I always get their veggie pho which comes with vegetables(obvi) and tofu. Plus some razzle dazzle of bean sprouts and green onions. The food is always fresh and it never takes longer than 15 mins to get your order from when you placed it. Their spring rolls are also delicious. Again I get the veggie one which comes with tofu and my husband gets the shrimp one and we are always happy with how they look and how they taste. The food was blend according to my kids. The kids was hungry and we stop by for 3 bowls of rare steak pho for kids. Comes with noodles, broth, and about 5 pieces of steak (very tough and chewy). I understand that kids don't eat much but man... no condiments, No onion and cilantro as well. seriously?! For $7.95 a bowl is sad to say this place is desperate. However they did give us a 15% off for the hair situation but I would not come back. Thanks but no thanks. We left with more than half of the meal in the bowl. They have to make some changes. Was stuck at work so had to Grubhub some dinner tonight. This was the closest Pho joint so I ordered some PHO DAC BIET and a strawberry lemonade ASAP. My order came quick and was smoking hot! Everything was fresh and all my condiments were provided. I appreciated the fat lime wedge that was given to me. That is probably my favorite condiment of all. Lakewood's best kept secret which may not actually be a secret. The summer rolls are divine (perhaps the best in the Denver Metro area) and the pho is righteous. All the food we've had each time we've ordered takeout has been fresh and packed with flavors you expect and love from Vietnamese food. Everyone working there is kind and helpful. I don't know how to describe the food here except to say that it was overly sweet and weird. The first red flag was the spring roll. The roll itself was okay, but the peanut sauce tasted like someone had dumped a load of sugar in it. Almost to the point of tasting like milk chocolate. The pho broth itself was also weirdly sweet. I usually add a bunch of sriracha sauce when I eat pho, but my wife ate it as is, and she got a really weird sweet flavor in hers. We wonder if they added lime to the broth at some late point in the process? The meat chunks were good and I got a nice helping of collagen/tendon, so I wasn't too upset. Not sure if this is related, but the morning after we ate here, my wife had stomach cramps and I was not feeling well either. But even without the stomach oddities, I would definitely pass on a second visit. read more

In an area reminiscent of The Row back home in the South Bay it was a surprise to find this Viet resto. It's big and with an open style arrangement inside. It was very inviting. I tried their Grilled Pork plate. I was disappointed. When you describe a dish as grilled I better see some kind of evidence that it was grilled. Or taste the apparent grilled taste. This dish had none of the mentioned qualities a grilled dish should have. They serve fried rice but no brown rice. That's fine. I can overlook that. I also tried their Lychee Boba. Coming from San Jose where the best of the best boba is I can tell you this boba is not something I would get again. The staff were really great. Very attentive. Extra outside seating. Minimum wait for your order. I'm giving it four stars based on the staff, the awesome location and their awesome fried chicken wings. This was one of the best wings I've ever had! First visit with friends for lunch outing. Everyone had something different but we were all pleased with the choice. My dish was the Pad Thai Noodles with Chicken. Generous portions with plenty of chicken chunks. I did not know actually what the dish was, but glad I made this choice. Plenty left over for supper. We ended our meal with a Bobo Tea. The Taro was so good! Probably the best in the area. Easy parking in Belmar. The venue was attractive with plenty of seating. Service excellent. I get to dispute the charge with my credit card company and contact better business bureau now. Worst service of my life. Not only that but they didn't want to move the tables for our 5 person table, and the food was downright poisonous, one of my friends was up all night with food poisoning like symptoms.
