Just had the unpleasant experience of making a delivery order from this place by Brian the owner. I don't know if he has a "power trip" but his tone and attitude/anger towards me was unacceptable. I mentioned how he had horrible customer service and he threw a fit and told me that he was the owner! I don't care if you're the janitor or the CEO, treat people with respect!! Everything you want from a little sandwich counter. We got a turkey and avocado, fresh fruit, just baked chocolate chip cookies and sat on their lawn. I highly recommend! We will be back for sure. I've been coming here for the past 15 or so years, and the food has always been great. There isn't a better sandwich spot on the hill! I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point, and I have to say the turkey sandwich reins supreme. The turkey sandwich is absolutely perfect, and would blow anything stacked up against it out of the water. A close second is salami sandwich, or the veggie sandwich -- I guess it's up to you to find out. OK yes the place is cute. The owner has a crazy American dream story. Unfortunately, none of that has made his sandwiches that good. I have basically tried every one of his sandwiches and all of them were below average. If you really think that his turkey sandwich is the best you have ever had then you probably don't get out of PV that much. There are better sandwiches all around. Rinaldi's down in Redondo Beach is infinitely better. Busy Bee's down in Pedro as well. Been eating Kelly's Corner since I was in elementary school (about to be 33). I can honestly say I've never had anything I didn't like. I don't live in the area anymore, but I still try to hit them up when I'm in town cuz I CRAVE the veggie sandwich (and I typically prefer meat in my meals). When I want something warm I love the bbq chicken sandwich or the pizza bagels.
