Hot Pastrami and a Cold TBA (turkey, bacon, avo) yum!
    Toshi I.

A few colleagues highly recommended checking out the Matcha and Turkey sandwich. I pulled up and was surprised how much it reminded me of my days living in Dallas. It's one of those places, you could miss if you drive past it. The interior is so cute, nostalgic with it's understated farmhouse style. Remnants of the old post office adds to this quaint feeling. I really loved the TBA (Turkey Bacon Avo) Sandwich. The lettuce was thinly shredded which i believe make a difference and I ordered a pastrami to go as well for my husband who enjoyed it as well. I will be back to try the meatball sandwich too. The matcha was the perfect hit after the seratonin from the turkey sando kicked in!

The outside of the restaurant was so beautiful that I just had to take a peek inside. It has a farmhouse feel with a pretty chandelier inside and snacks to grab along the front of the store. I wished that there had been a bigger selection of snacks. The general store felt like it was lacking in merchandise. I tried to order coffee because I thought I saw a coffee section, however, they did not have a coffee menu. While I took another second to change my order, a group of children came in. It was around 3pm. The workers seemed to know all of the children by name-- the place quickly became a local elementary schools' hangout spot. I didn't mind at all since their presence transformed the restaurant into a happy home. Once I got my Pizza Sub, I decided to sit outside. It's a really a wonderful place to relax and have an awesome sandwich! I'll eventually come back for ice cream.

You can't go wrong here. They have coffee, pastries, sandwiches and ice cream. I do prefer housemate syrup for coffee but the barista knows what he's doing. They carry the Monin brand. I had the hot cinnamon bun latte. Let me tell you, it smelled and tasted incredible. Stop by on a chilly morning and enjoy it with a banana nut muffin. - South Bay Coffee Buzz

I was looking for a old fashion deli experience. Wife and I found a deli experience that was pretty decent. Inside was clean and country type of feel. The service was very welcoming and warm. The menu offers hot and cold sandwiches along with a few other items. I chose the Gourmet Ham which came with Swiss cheese and a raspberry jam, with Dijon mustard. The jam and mustard mixed pretty well. Each balancing out each other. Bread was soft to medium. Ham was very good with the Swiss cheese. All n all a good experience. Unfortunately I may not return because I was looking for a little more of an old fashioned deli experience.

It is SO cute inside! It's like a general store meets a deli with wooden floors, charm and delicious food!

Been meaning to come here and finally got the chance. It's a super cute little area to enjoy your lunch. Plenty of seating and plenty of options to choose to eat. I got the Italian assorted kids size and it filled me up perfectly. It was pretty good! Staff were friendly and overall it was nice and clean. Definitely will be back to try what else they have to offer.

What a cute little spot. I've lived in PVE for the last 7 years and I've driven by this place so many times. Today I drove by and decided to stop by and finally try it and I'm so glad I did. I ordered a tuna sandwich. Def better than the tuna sando from Malaga cove ranch market. Their ingredients taste so fresh. I will def be back to try one of their speciality sandwiches.

    Gourmet Ham (delicious!)

Came back again and was not disappointed. The Gourmet Ham is delicious. The ham, Swiss cheese, raspberry jam and Dijon mustard hit the spot. The combination was so tasty. I had drip coffee to go along with the sandwich. Truly delicious!

I've lived in PV for decades and have never visited this well-known little shop until now. I remember when Kelly's Korner was offered as a meal option at PVPHS and it was quite popular. The shop is a cute little mom-and-pop feel restaurant with casual indoor and outdoor seating. The young lady behind the counter took my order and was very sweet and nice. I ordered the meatball sub and it was your standard sub, as expected. NotI also ordered the chinese chicken salad with avocado. The lettuce and avocado were fresh and dressing was good. However, for the price, I expected something a little more special. Overall, it is an easy and comfortable shop to grab a quick meal. If I didn't live on the hill, I wouldn't drive here just to get their food.

The shop is small but, mighty with mesmerizing flavors! I thought I had been to their location in Venice but I confused them with their popular competitor. Omg, the Pandan Tres Leches is dreamy and so delightful and my favorite out of the two full scoops I got. The base is sweet creamy ice cream and the mix-in is green pandan spongecake pieces w/a condensed milk swirl. My second full scoop was the ube malted crunch and that was good. Would most def get the Pandan again though over this flavor. Hubby made a better choice of getting the three half scoops which are also better in prices compared to to full scoops. I had a taste of his taro malted marshmallow and kaya toast, a Singaporan inspired scoop. The base is toasted bread flavored and the swirl is kaya jam. Sweet, creamy, and aromatic! It's pretty much a to-go shop as there are no places to sit. Not a deterrent though. Would definitely return!

Located at Rolling Hills Plaza, this spot is a great place for an afternoon treat or late night dessert. I stopped by to get my favorite Sticky Rice + Mango flavored ice cream. Walking in this place smells like heaven. I instantly loved the sweet smell the moment I walked in. I loved getting a scoop of my ice cream in their ube waffle cup. For an extra $1.50, this added an extra sweet touch. The Sticky Rice + Mango definitely hit the spot. It was so tasty and fruity. Paired with the ube waffle cup, it was the perfect summer treat. Overall, it was one sweet day visiting here and since it is still National Ice Cream month, I may just need to visit again ;).

When I questioned it, instead of simply explaining the situation, the employee helping us seemed unwilling to make it and gave us attitude. I also asked to sample a couple of other flavors since the item we originally wanted was supposedly unavailable, and her attitude made the whole interaction even more uncomfortable. I completely understand that places run out of items and employees can have difficult days, but this didn't seem to be an availability issue when other customers were being served the exact same thing. It felt like we were simply being refused service for something that was clearly available. We came in expecting a quick, enjoyable ice cream stop, and unfortunately left feeling singled out and disappointed.
