MOST HORRIBLE PLACE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Came to this store for bridesmaids dresses after searching high and low. I thought wow, finally some good luck that I found a great place for dresses. BUT my 3 bridesmaids didn't get their dresses until 1 week before my wedding!!! The dresses were ordered in APRIL and kelly wrote on the receipts that I would get the dresses by NOVEMBER! Wedding is in DECEMBER! I started calling in November to check on the status and was told that they'll be in any day soon. Days passed...weeks passed...I was very nice and patient with waiting for them. However, December came and I still didn't get the dresses. Every single time, it was a different excuse!! Oh, delivery takes time. production takes time. When I so nicely reminded kelly that the wedding was a month away, all she said was "you can build a house in a month." When I finally lost it and asked why it took so long, kelly simply stated "oh, no reason" When my bridesmaids called, kelly would give the same excuses to them too. And then when the dresses finally arrived, they were all too big. Is this another way for them to make money off of you?? I think so! You would have no choice but to do alterations with them. Kelly and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. Kelly went above and beyond to hunt down my dream dress with only a 1 month notice. She even tried to help me locate it at another store because she didn't have the dress in stock for me to see in person. That said, my only pet peeve is that I was given multiple dates for when the dress would come in. For type "A" people, this may cause some serious anxiety. Therefore, I suggest everyone give a party date that is 2 weeks prior to actually needing the dress. Kelly can not control the mail, but she can provide the bride with a date thats even further down the road than she expects, which would relieve some bridezilla anxiety. I was a bridesmaid for my cousin's wedding and we got our dresses here. The good points: The dresses arrived at the shop on time. There were no issues with the color of the dye or anything like that. They looked pretty good and they were what we expected. The bad points: The tailoring was pretty shoddy. I had to get my dress re-tailored at a different place and I even had to run out at the last minute to buy new shoes because they cut the dress too short. So in total my tailoring cost more than my dress! I would recommend that if you are going to get your dress here, make sure you speak up a lot because they have a flat tailoring fee so they'll try to convince you that it fits even if it's obvious that it doesn't. Or you can just save yourself the trouble and take it somewhere else to get it tailored. read more

Just got a phone call from the manufacturer (the store never even contacted me to say they were going out of business) that the store is out of business and the owner never gave them our deposit so they want me to repay to get my Bridesmaid Dresses. I dont even know if I can trust this manufacturer. What if she gave them the cash and they are just taking advantage of a bride in a bad situation!? I am hoping to file a claim in small claims court but this woman walked away with $620 of my bridesmaids money. She insisted on cash and made us leave a deposit of over 50%. This is the worst place for anyone to visit. I recently ordered a special veil for my wedding and Kelly caused me so much headaches and undue stress. She originally told me my veil would be available in 2-3 weeks after the order was placed...I finally received my veil 4 days before my wedding!!! I was livid...I was never able to try on my veil with my dress at all!!! Kelly is the biggest actress I have ever seen....she seems so nice and uses her niceness to prey on her customers. If I could give this place less stars I would. Here's my long story short: Had an appointment scheduled for 1pm. When I walked in (store is SUPER tiny, btw) there was a bridal party already trying dresses on. With as tiny as the store was, I wasn't even greeted until about 5 minutes after I walked in - for real? Aside from my initial greeting, I was only told once, "It'll be a few more minutes." and that was around 1:20pm. Didn't end up trying on any dresses until about 1:45pm, and the entire time I spent waiting I just stood there because there was no place to sit - ridiculous! Tried on about 7 dresses and mid-way through that same bridal gaggle returned to speak with Kelly some more. I was somewhat interested in one dress and when I tried to find out the price, Kelly seemed to pull a number out of the air (didn't look at a price book or the tag on the dress, nothing) and went back to talking with the other girls. NO I would not recommend this to a friend. In my opinion, Kelly's Kreations Bridal Salon needs "MORE IMPROVEMENT" with customer service care. I had received my wedding gown a couple days before my big day. Kelly had mentioned to me at the time "oh the dress will be coming in next week or by end of April"....BS......Thank god, I didn't have my brides maids dresses at this place, it would of been very upsetting. Kelly was a great help to my friend who had been searching everywhere for a prom dress. She went to many different stores and seemed to try on every dress, but none of them were "it." When I first began my wedding dress search I had no idea what I was looking for. I had some designers in mind & Kellys Kreations had both. My sister & I went to try on dresses. I am a very punctual person & arrived for my 3PM appointment at 2:30. We were told we had to wait but could browse the dresses. We picked a few to try on & I didn't get into the dressing room until 3:30!! Kelly did not get out from behind her desk the entire time I was there. After I picked two dresses that I liked she gave me price information & found out 1 of the dresses was discontinued. I set up a second appointment to go with my mom. (the one who will be paying for the dress!!!) We arrived early again & to our suprise she was having a prom dress trunk show. I was so annoyed because she knew I was coming with my mom to show her the dresses I picked and didn't tell me there would be screaming 17 year old girls in the store. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience! My sister got married over six months ago and the whole bridal party got their dresses from Kelly Kreations.To make a very long story short when I got my dress in my hand from Kelly after her canceling my second fitting it was two days before the wedding .When I tried it on I found out it was still much too long and not all the alterations Ipaid were made ,so a day before the wedding I had to take it to another person to be fixed so I'd have a dress that fits and I'll be able to walk and dance at my sister's wedding . Very shortly after the wedding Kelly agreed to refund me for the money I paid her for the alterations. The next six months have been an excuse after an excuse that resulted in me still not having the refund check in me hand . At least three times in the past two months the owner had stated to me on the phone that she put the check in the mail herself .She gave me her word that this issue will be resolved ..This is not my first language ...I never wrote a review before .. After all that I went through I felt it is only fair that people that are considering doing business with her will know what happened to me before putting a deposite . read more

I placed my Casablanca wedding gown order with Kelly from Kelly's Kreations on 9/15/13, 10 months prior to my wedding which was July, 2014. When Kelly filled out the order form she wrote that my wedding was in May of 2014 which she said was to ensure my gown would arrive in plenty of time. Kelly also said that it would take 4 - 6 months for my gown to arrive. I took her word for everything she told me. That was a big mistake. My problems begin in March of 2014 when I asked Kelly for a color swatch of the dress I ordered. After waiting one month for a color swatch and getting the run around from Kelly with her always telling me to was coming I decided to call Casablanca Bridal directly to try and get the swatch. During that phone call I was informed that Kelly Kreations is not an authorized seller of Casablanca bridal therefore they are not sending her a color swatch and even worse they have no idea where Kelly Kreations would be getting my dress from because they do not take orders from unauthorized sellers. The CSR said there is a good chance my dress would be a fake! I called Kelly immediately and relayed the story to her and she admitted that she is not an authorized seller but she deals with "buyers" who will get her the dress I ordered. I said I was very upset and nervous and that my dress better be an authentic Casablanca and not a forgery. Kelly assured my the dress would be in on time and authentic. Again I took Kelly at her word. After many more phone calls to Kelly I finally received the swatch ONE MONTH later. When my Mom went to pick the swatch up she immediately realized it was the wrong color, she was given a white color swatch while the dress I ordered was ivory. My Mom told Kelly and at first she get trying to say the color was correct. She realized she was finally wrong and told me Mom she would get the correct color which she did two weeks later. Fast forward to the beginning of April which is when I was told me dress would arrive. Kelly send the dress should be in by the end of the month. I reminded Kelly that she said the dress would be in during the beginning of the month and now all of a sudden Kelly is tell me the dress takes 6-7 months to arrive which is a lot more time then what she told me when I placed the order in September. I told Kelly I was very uneasy about this and I wanted a specific date as to when my dress would arrive. She was unable to provide that information. All of April passes and no dress. We head into May with the same story and Kelly still not able to tell me when my dress would arrive although she tried to fool me by saying we'll make a first fitting appointment for May 24, 204. I asked for what since she had no idea where my dress was. She had no answer. I am now freaking out so I call Casablanca again and explain the situation I am in. I was helped by Kristen who took down all of the information regarding my order and said she would do a search for my dress and see if she could find the order. She calls back about two hours later and says Casablanca Bridal does not have an order for my style number so they have no idea where my dress is coming from. The asked since Kelly said she was using a "buyer" if she could provide the buyers name that would be helpful in trying to locate the dress. My father calls Kelly and she refuses to give him that information. I call Casablanca again and they feel terrible so they put me in touch with Angel Bridal in Staten Island who take my order and Casablanca puts a rush order in for me dress which is made in four weeks!! Kelly had no idea where my dress was and I am absolutely convinced had a waited on Kelly I never would have received it. She is a fake and not trustworthy as she never told my Mom and I when we placed the order that she was not an authorized seller of Casablanca Bridal. Had a known that I never would have placed my order with her. Please Brides...do not purchase anything from this shop! read more

As a recommendation, I came to Kelly's shop for my bridesmaids dresses for my August wedding. The whole process started off fine when we were picking out the dresses for my 6 girls, but then it was a totally bumpy ride up until the wedding. Lets start with the ladies in the shop. It is all family owned so its a bunch of sisters and cousins working together. The ladies overall are sweet, but they are very pushy and dont let you get two words in. They made most of my girls order a size bigger, which I think is a scheme to charge later on for alterations because majority of my girls needed to have their dresses taken in. In addition, the owner Kelly said that the dresses would come in without a doubt the first week of July, which was not the case at all. And the excuses that I got for that happening were constantly changing and hard to believe. When the dresses finally came towards the end of July and I came with every one of my girls to try them on, one of the dresses didnt even come in because it was ordered later on, but the problem was that Kelly did not even know about it not being there. So I spent time with one of my girls coming to the shop for no reason. I loved all my vendors, but this one really made me stress out the most. To top it off, even after the alterations, the dresses did not fit right and were not altered properly, but there was no time to change it. Also, I was promised material in the color of the dresses to wrap the bouquets in, which I paid for and I never received. This place is HORRIBLE! DO NOT COME HERE. We ordered 3 bridesmaid dresses at the end of April and the dresses did not come in until 1 WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING which is mid December. Kelly had promised arrival for November 1st. There was a lot of back and forth phone calls between Nov and Dec with false promises that the dresses will be in on a certain day and it just kept getting delayed. When asked what the reason for delay was, she goes on to give some BS about production time from the manufacturer. Really? 6 months is not enough time? (Other salons take 10 to 14 weeks). And then she says it's because we chose a color that is older (a royal blue for a winter wedding..) She then goes on to offer alterations at a lower cost (the dresses were all one size too big - another scheme?). We would rather spend more money to get it altered somewhere else than to trust her. I finally received a call from this disgrace of a human being today, stating that these dresses were ordered and she is so sorry she didn't pay the manufacture and my $2000 went to her Bills! But she did refer me to another bridal store saying that I can order the dresses there.... But I still have to pay for the dresses. SERIOUSLY?!? My $2000 went into her pocket and know I have to pay all over again!! I heard she is working out of a store in STATEN ISLAND now.... LADIES BEWARE!!!!! KELLY SASSA IS A CROOK! The staff were horrible. This was the first shop I went to and was pressured into putting a downpayment on a dress right away. At this point I was stuck because I didn't want to lose the $ so I chose a dress but it needed several alterations. I paid for alterations and they told me they can do any alterations. I asked for easy alterations like to cut the tail off and they gave me hell with that and did horrible job it looked all lopsided. The lady lied to me the whole time about everything and appeared super nice in beginning [which is why I gave a deposit] but once I booked the dress she turned into a witch and didn't care anymore. The service was very bad, she kept telling me dress will be ready, literally every week I called she made up some excuse. I needed to travel for my wedding so the dress had to be packaged, she ironed dress last minute last day and this wasn't done well. She originally told me that the underskirt is like 100$ and she put that on the receipt. She told me I can exchange it if it wont fit the dress. When the underskirt came and it looked huge so I wanted to exchange it. She showed me another skirt and said these skirts cost like 25$ so I told her I wanted refund for the other one and she said the other one wasn't 100$ these skirts never cost that much bla bla. So she lied in the beginning. Then in the end she never gave me that other skirt so I told her I'll take what I originally ordered and she said well you have to pay for it. It was outrageous! She charged me 100$ for it so I told her and she didn't believe me so I showed the receipt, plus the minute u start asking for any alterations they start speaking in Italian like they are so annoyed and that I'm asking for too much and they even call u names as if u don't understand. Brides and bridesmaids beware!!! This is the most awful place!! It all started on August 24 last year when we went to kellys and I found my wedding dress.. My mom had to give her 1200 cash as a deposit for a 1600 dress. Days weeks and months have passed. I started calling kelly in April very concerned that I still haven't heard anything about my dress or my bridesmaid dresses. P.s all of my bridesmaids had to give her more than half deposit as cash on a 220 dollar gown. Kelly assures me not to worry that it's on it's way. I call again in May. Still no dresses. I called a couple of weeks ago being my wedding is in 5 weeks. She told me you could build a car in a month. I call Maggie sottero only to learn that my dress was never released and is still in the warehouse in Utah! The Vice President called kelly and had the dress sent. I went tonight for my first fitting and sure enough the seamstress is not there even after kelly called to confirm I was on my way. I left with my gown and will now have to pay alterations elsewhere. This woman is a liar and a thief. She will ruin what is supposed to be every brides favorite part of the wedding. My dress was paid for 11 months ago and if I wouldn't have called who knows if I would have one. I would give this place less than zero stars if I could. Don't do it!!! Everyone told me not to get my wedding dress from here! I originally found it here..it was 1800dollars ..I decided to look somewhere else and found the Same dress with alterations for 1100 dollars!! Big difference!!Well thank god I didn't!!! My grandma got her dress here...the dress did not come into the store until 2 weeks before my wedding!! Then they did alterations but my grandma couldn't pick it up until the day before the wedding! I ordered my sister's maid of honor dress for my wedding. I had requested that the dress be rush ordered and I was told that it would arrive my mid April by the store owner herself. After placing my order in January, I called a week later to cancel the order because I heard bad things from a few family members and friends that the store had a bad reputation. I called the store to see if I could get my cash deposit back, but they told me no it was against store policy. I waited for the dress hoping that everyone was wrong and everything would be fine. I called in April to check the status of my dress. The owner told me that she didn't want to rush order one dress because that was "crazy" and it would instead be in May. I called May 1, 2012, which was the date I was told the dress would be in, which is still wasn't. I was then told that the dress would be in May 8,2012. When I called I was told the dress "was in" and I then set up a date to come in on May 12, 2012. When I arrived at the store I was told that the dress wasn't in and there was nothing they could do. Now it is weeks before my wedding and my sister (maid of honor) has no dress. The store told me that it is the company's fault and that all of their dresses have shipped out late. This I know isn't true because I ordered two other dresses from the company in February and received them in April at another store because I had bad feelings about this store after ordering my sister's dress. I was spoken to very nastily and was told "well I don't know what you want me to do about it" by the store owner Kelly herself. Very unprofessional. I was told to call the maker myself. As my sister and I left the store, my sister asked for her shoes that she brought in the shoebox with her back, and one of the employees there threw them at her. Luckily, she is fine and caught the box. We received our money back, but now still have no dress and are stressed. read more

this is by far the absolute worst place to ever get a dress. my neice went here months ago and ordered her dress along with all of her bridesmaids dresses---- biggest mistake. she told the owner that her wedding was in july (to be cautious) & it is now august 10th and she has not received the dress. the wedding is actually september 5th and she has not had one fitting. kelly lost her lease on the store and is using that as an excuse as to why we dont have any of the dresses. every time we call she says to call back in a few days. so with a wedding less than one month away none of us have even gone for a fitting. when they realized there was a problem they didnt even bother to call and give us any information. we dont even know if we will ever get the dresses or where to go from here. we all left deposits... etc. this has been a total disaster. if the wedding had really been in july she would have just let us go without any dresses at all. we are completely disgusted with this service and this has been a true disaster causing a bride nothing but headaches and anxiety. if you choose to use this company.... do it at your own risk. they do not care about their customers and are basically a brides worst nightmare. read more

LIAR! The owner of the shop, Kelly Sessa, is a lying creep. Not only is she a liar but a very good one at that . She had me so convinced on the phone that my dresses would be in on time , and of course they were not. My wedding is next week and my bridesmaids are without their dresses. These were ordered back in March and we were assured several times that they'd be in well before my wedding. This woman deserves NO STARS but unfortunately that's not an option here . Her story changed about 5 times; I could never get a straight answer from her about the status of the dresses when I started calling about them last month - turns out they were NEVER ORDERED. My friends went above her and called the designer himself and that's when we learned that she took our money and never placed the order. I don't know how this woman sleeps at night . She is a disgusting human. At the moment there is a padlock on her door with an eviction notice -so I guess she's getting what she deserves . As for us, we are having our dresses sent to a nearby shop who was more than happy to help. read more

i fell in love with a dress while looking for a dress for my friends wedding. they had a trunk show and while they didn't have the dress i wanted , they did offer to order a sample for me to try on. i was so excited i came in and tried on the dress and fell in love. i put my down payment and then receive a phone call advising me the dress is being discontinued and i had to order it now or i would not be able to get my dream dress. i did not book a hall yet and i put my wedding date tentatively as May. This was in August of last year. i called in March and my dress was not ordered yet- strange for a dress being PIF and discontinued as of August last year- stranger still that it is still on the dress company website for people to see. Here it is July, i have been told for 3 months that the dress is in the process of being shipped but has still not arrived- thank god i ended up booking my hall for September and not for may because i would have been without a dress. Had i known this would be as stressful as this i would have bought my dress elsewhere. i am still waiting for my dress to ship and i am going to try and get a refund for the alterations to have them done elsewhere- that is if i get my dress before my wedding read more
