I love Kelly and Tony they are always so good to me! My main spot to get my pedicures.. Don't know what I would do without them!

I came with my friend to get a pedicure and to get a full set put on. At first they tended to start my pedicure really fast I was happy until I went to go get my nails done. At first they made me chair hop from Kellys to Tonys. Tony was really rude, I felt like I was a waste of his time. Then when kelly came over to talk to him he stopped doing my nails to help her right in front of me. I told him I wanted short nails an he only did my thumbs short. I wanted white an pink an he gave me all white, I was not happy. I hate this set they're lifting from the glue and how they would normally grow out. My pedicure looked like shit three days after getting them done. I wanted french tip and the white line is not straight, my pinkie toes are all white, and one of my toes she didn't paint the whole nail. I was just very disappointed with it all, I will never go back to this place ever again!! read more

I made an appointment at a different nail salon within the same shopping center, mistakenly I went to Kelly nails, when I walked in I told them I had an appointment with "Renee" they looked at each other and knew I didn't have an appointment in their salon. They still took me and did my shellac pedicure and I didn't find out I was at the incorrect establishment until I received a message from the nail technician from the place I was supposed to go to...that was shady. The lady that did my pedicure was polite and seemingly did a good job, when I really took a good look I noticed that there was quite a bit of polish on my cuticles. If you've gotten shellac done in the past you know that if you get any of it outside of the nail, it will start to lift in no time. Luckily it's been over a week and no lifting as of yet, but I doubt it will last my usual 4-5 weeks. Won't be going back. Also, an elderly lady came in to get a fill and a woman greeted her and told her to sit and give her a minute, she sat down in a chair in the corner and was on her phone and seemed to be falling asleep. It may have been because she doesn't do whatever it is this woman was there to get, but it was rude that there was no communication. read more

I have been to many nail salons and Kelly's nails is by far the best. All the girls are good. But Kelly is amazing. I always make my appointments with Kelly. I have never once been disappointed. She always makes sure it's exactly what you wanted. read more

Just got my lashes done for the first time ever and am over the moon! Kelly did a fabulous job and they look so natural. Now that I struggle to see its no fun doing makeup, etc--and this helps with that struggle. I will be one of Kelly's regulars and she put a mean clean up on my unruly brows. Love it!!! read more

I've been going to this salon for about a year. Everyone here is very friendly and they always try their best to accommodate me and fit me in when I don't have an appointment. It's a very family like atmosphere. I get my eyebrows waxed, my nails done, pedicures and eyelash extensions. Kelly does a great job! I really enjoy my hour long pedicures! read more

Made my eyebrows very thin which I did not like. And my nails came out nothing like the picture I showed them. My nail color was suppose to be a nude but instead was a light pink. Also they kept cutting me with the file thing. Never coming back read more

Been here a few times as a teen. Moved out of Modesto and ended up going to beauty school they are extremely clean and I was so glad to get a pedicure from a place that doesn't reuse files. It's worth the drive read more

I was satisfied with my nails but the service is terrible. The man was always on his phone. He would stop working on my nails and be texting and calling on his phone. He is at work not at home.. the prices are affordable and his work is excellent but he lacks customer service and he is not very friendly. read more

This was the worst pedicure I have ever had. The owner was not wearing a mask - some of the customers were not wearing their masks. None of the chairs to sit in for pedicures were not wiped down after each client. My pedicure was done in a matter of 15 minutes and the the woman spent more time on her phone then she did on my feet. At one point she walked to the back and just left me sitting there for at least 5 minutes. My pedicure was done half assed and then when she worked on my daughter she asked her to finish her text message. My daughter in law had an appointment to get her nails done and they proceeded to do other customers and then after she waited for an hour and half said they were ready. She told them no we are getting ready to leave now. They proceeded to talk crap once she refused to have them done .The customer service was horrible. I used to be a regular here but sadly I would not recommend .if I could give zero stars I definitely would. Very unprofessional and not following any guidelines. T read more

A young girl did great designs on my nails, and the pedicure was pretty good...but there's a but. The man who did my full set paid more attention to the TV than to me. He also glued the nail too far down, so I ended up with fungus!! Eww! read more

i tried this salon because i was looking for a new place to go, right off the bat, the nail tech glued on the extended tip crooked, then about 3 minutes later, another lady walks in and tony tells me to move to a different chair so that she could take my spot. my nails turned out uneven and lumpy, and the lady who did my nails, cut the skin around my nails. they lasted about a week and then when they came off, both my pinky nails got ripped in half and were painful. i would not go back to the salon, sorry. read more

I have been going to this Nail Salon for quite some time. The nails done here are decent. Rawnie is awesome and very nice she does amazing pedicures and manicures. Tony is rude and lacks patience. His customer service skills are very poor. Kelly does great nails and can be very friendly, but at times she's easily distracted by her phone and everything else around her. I've had my fingers and knuckles cut, but of course it's never their fault. Customer service goes a long way anywhere, but even more so at places where there are many establishments on every corner. When you are paying for a service you expect to have it done right and be treated nice. read more

Let me start off by saying that I never leave reviews on here (let alone bad ones), but WOW. I have been coming here for years, & every single time, I get the same exact thing (pedicure with french tips). I have always been charged $20, at most $25.. this time, i ask for the total and i got charged nearly DOUBLE.. FOR A BASIC PEDICURE!!! that's not even the worst part.. i didn't even get what i asked for and when i pointed it out, she said it was too late and kind of laughed about it like it was my fault somehow?... (you'd think they'd give me a small discount for this.. NOPE!) not to mention i waited almost an hour for anyone to even start on me, and the water went from hot to ice cold by then, not a single one of them checked on me. I even called before I came in and was told they could do them when i got there.. Wish i had just painted them myself.. never going back here again. **typically, i get my toes done by rani, and she is AMAZING at what she does, but she was on vacation, and i was desperate because i had a wedding to go to the next day, so i let whoever do them.. what a mistake that was. read more

DO NOT get the 3 to one $30 dollar lashes from here! They will look good at first and you will love them, if the correct length is put on, but when you finally have to take them off they will pull out most of your natural lashes with them, no matter how careful you are taking them off. I had them put on for my graduation and everyone loved them but some people noticed that their was a lot of glue on them and made my lashes look cakey! I researched and I found that when lashes are done this way it can cause damage to your natural hair and even your follicles. So don't be chap and get the one to one extensions. I have no recommendations for the one to one here but I wouldn't risk it. read more

If I could rate this ZERO STARS I absolutely would. My friend and I came here to get our nails done because it is located close to where we both live and it had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. Terrible mistake. They have the worst customer service of any nail salon I have ever been to in modesto. The guy who did my nails was the worst of them all. He was especially rude and had a terrible attitude for some reason. He acted as if he hated his job. We were ready to walk out without paying that's how bad it was. But I decided to sit it out and let him finish. He did an okay job on my nails, he could have done much better but did not listen when I was telling him exactly what I wanted and how to do it. I will never go to this place again and I would recommend you find a different nail salon to go to, literally anywhere is better than this s**t hole. Kay so lesson learned. Went into Kelly's nails to get my lashes redone. She was busy with nails so a girl said she cld help me, first thought was i dnt want anyone else but Kelly touching my lashes and I should have told her no I want Kelly but I felt rude if I were to tell her I dnt want her doing lashes. I should have made an apt but honestly I thought no one else did the lashes there cuz Kelly always seemed to be doing it only. Anyway if u get lashes there make sure u have Kelly do them. I am in so much pain today my eye has a abrasion on my eye and it is completely red it hurts to even move my eye or blink! It burns sooo bad. She got glue in my eye which apparently cut my eye ball and now I have to use these drops from the doctor till it heals it is aweful and painful!!! I dnt know the girls name (she's nice but should not be working there) she is Asian with blonde hair like super platinum like white blonde hair. SO ASK ONLY FOR KELLY FOR LASHES!!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS! It really is true, you get what you pay for. I was fooled by the $25 price tag and went to Kelly for eyelash extensions. What a joke! These are NOT eyelash extensions. She takes the singles that you would buy at any store like Wal-Mart and glues them on!!!! She was very rough, got glue in my eye several times, and then tried to pick it out with a toothpick! I looked ridiculous because of the amount of glue that was used, like I had a quarter inch strip of eyeliner on. I am assuming the massive amount of glue was used to support the claim that the lashes will stay on for up to 2 weeks. I left her shop and immediately went home and used olive oil to remove the mess she created. I was shocked when I removed the lashes and realized that she had cut my natural lashes completely away at the corners. (I saw the scissors in her hand, but I thought she was trimming the fake lashes!) There was literally nothing there. SHE CUT MY NATURAL LASHES!!! What a waste of money!!! I went the next day and had real eyelash extensions applied by a professional and I couldn't be happier! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS FALSE ADVERTISING. THESE ARE NOT EYELASH EXTENSIONS!!! read more
