No one explained where anything was or directed us to things. Pricing in my opinion is a bit high especially for the very few things to do there. They have a nice corn maze but, it's not for their ages really. The attractions they have there are very outdated and for the price they charge they could use it to do a few upgrades. It's been over 9 years since I've been there and it's definitely gone down hill from then and uphill on that cost. Though have to say their restrooms outside were more up to date than the environment there for sure. If I was pricing things I would have it as follows Adults ages 13 and up $15 Ages 5-12 $8-10 and 3-5 $5 and 3 and under Free. That's just my opinion for the attractions. But as you see in pictures I have sign of pricing from there. And last note we had to put our own wristbands on so we could've just walked in and said we lost them in maze if we wanted to do that but we didn't but that shows how much the people pay attention at the point of entrance. And as for a petting zoo there that's a few ducks and one goat. And no food to feed them as those machines had a post it note on it stating "Out of Order!" So, to say we will be back is more towards the NO unless they were to update things and that's update it a lot.

Besides the staple menu, there was a rotating menu featuring a soup, mussel dish, flatbread, burger, and pasta. The food took some time to come out, and everything was rather bland across the board. The interior was decorated nicely for the holidays though. *Hummus Platter: a huge shareable for $10. The crispy naan resembled the Costco version but fried. The naan itself worked well as a base for the hummus, although the hummus was neither smooth nor flavorful. There was no fragrance from the chickpeas, and it tasted rather unseasoned. The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. Note there is a 3% credit card surcharge. I could not find this listed on their menu and but I saw the charge on my receipt. I enjoyed the few beers I had, and the food was acceptable for a bar. With some improvement to the flavors, this could be a worthwhile visit for a bite and a drink.

The fries were crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. They were dry service was good not many people in the restaurant for lunch. It was a Tavern type of decor. My only issue was the beer cheese. It tasted too much like beer. The beer flavor was definitely over powering. The other special sauce wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. A typical thousand island type of sauce. But over all it was pretty solid. I would comeback and try something else.

Seemed like a nice place Went in, saddled up to the bar, got some food and drinks. Place is very nice. Menu has a lot to choose from. The Ahi Tuna bowl was the best. Highly recommend. The wings are smoked and done in a different way than anticipated. Some will like it, some may not. Overall, we'd come back to try other things, when back in the area.

The only problem with this place is its distance from my house. If it was closer I'd be there on a weekly basis. The ambiance is historic with tall ceilings, period embellishments and decoration, and comfy seating. We were greeted quickly and the service was amazing. We had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners. He gave us some of the history and we were happy to let him know how much we liked the food, service, and ambiance. The duck fat fries are some of the best food I have ever eaten. A creative combination of salty, sour, umami, crispy, spicy, herby, etc. It's $10 and worth every single penny. So good. I would honestly eat two of them and call it a meal. Not kidding. They are that tasty. I would LOVE to know the secret to their pickled fennel seed thing. I don't know how they do it but I crave that flavor. Hubby had the heritage burger for $14 and he absolutely loved it. It's a patty with brisket and chuck and it's smashing. With the onion straws and the garlic aioli (plus other things) it's a great flavor combination. So good and it comes with more of the duck fat fries (win-win). I tried the Polish Flatbread because I had never seen anything like it at any other restaurant. The combination sounds odd but the flavors marry quite well. Polish flat bread: smoked kielbasa, mozzarella, pork belly, pepperoncini peppers and garlic aioli over a nice, bright tomato sauce. So yummy. I have to be honest. When it arrived at the table, I thought to myself, "that's it?" But once you taste it, you appreciate the amalgamation of flavors. The chef, Erik, is from the city and he needs to be bronzed because he has that ability to creatively combine unique flavors to create really special dishes. We weren't drinking anything other than water, but the cocktails look really good. So, cheers to the mixologist, the chef, and the owner for making this a top-notch location. They have outdoor seating that I'd love to try now that the weather is cooling. This is a two-thumbs way up place to eat. I am currently looking for excuses to be in that neck of the woods just so I can revisit this restaurant. For the record, it was our first time in that city and we tried to eat at several other places and couldn't because they were closed (at that time), closed (permanently), or had nowhere to park. So we expanded our search zone in Yelp and found this place. One of the best "where are we going to eat?" happy accidents we've ever had.
