1 Star -- A Terrible Moving Experience…read more I cannot recommend this moving company. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The movers were rude, unhelpful, and unnecessarily rough with our belongings and our new home. At one point, we asked one of the movers to please be more careful with our walls. His response was, "What do you want to do, this yourself?" That response was incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable, especially when we were simply asking them to take reasonable care of our home. There were also significant problems with our belongings. A number of items were misplaced, and some table legs were eventually found in the company's Lost and Found. When the company offered to return them, they were left at our old address rather than our new address, which was yet another unnecessary problem we had to deal with. Even more frustrating, the movers left a substantial amount of our belongings at our old address, telling us they didn't have enough room in the truck. This included heavy items such as our treadmill and rugs. We were then forced to spend several additional hours and our own money hiring another moving van to retrieve and move the items ourselves. When I contacted the company about receiving some compensation for the problems we experienced, I was asked to sign an NDA agreeing not to speak negatively about the company in exchange for receiving some money back. I found that extremely troubling. After such a poor experience, I believe customers should be able to honestly share what happened to them rather than being asked to agree to silence in order to receive compensation. Moving is stressful and expensive enough without having to deal with careless handling of your belongings, items being left behind, belongings being misplaced, disrespectful behavior, and then additional out-of-pocket expenses to fix problems that shouldn't have occurred in the first place. I would be extremely hesitant to use this company again and would strongly encourage anyone considering them to look carefully at other options. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had, and I cannot recommend this company based on what happened to us.

I hesitated a bit, thinking that maybe they would not have enough movers, so he then said he would be sure to have 4 men, but requested $400. That was still very reasonable, much less than other movers I called. He arrived a week later with the truck, 3 other men, many straps to keep the piano stable in the truck. What amazed me was that he then proceeded to wrap my 60-year old piano in plastic, further protecting it from damage. The men were super polite, and they made the transport within an hour, moving into my friend's home flawlessly. I highly recommend this outstanding team! Just one more item: I did prepare a written contract with the agreed-upon quote and delivery address. Kelvin gladly signed it, keeping his copy and returning mine. This gave me peace of mind that I might not have had otherwise when hiring someone I did not know. I just treated myself to a brand new grand piano which is very important to me and cost more than an arm and a leg. I not only did I want it to get to my new spot in one piece, but I didn't even want to risk it being scratched, bumped, dented, etc. When I called the movers and told them about the main reason for my move, they were on it and did a fantastic job of handling it when they carried it out of my home into the truck. All the movers were very respectful and kind. They made a good impression on me and my family who had come to help a bit. My mom was thrilled that she had referred them to her sister who was looking to move at the end of the month and has been trying to find a reasonably priced moving company. Definitely keep up the good work and keep the positive attitude. Very attentive to me and I appreciated that.
