So i figured why not. 24 hours later I've got a check engine light, that codes P0128, for coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature. I called and let them know. Waiting to hear back from a manager. If they fix what they broke, I'll change my review. But if I have to pay for this out of my pocket, I won't ever be coming back. I'll buy a jack and just start doing it myself. Edit: Stopped at the shop after work. They verified that I had the P0128 code. Told me I had to take it to a shop and they would "review tapes to see if they did anything wrong". And that if they did, they'd pay me back. Nah. My car was fine until these guys touched it. Now I get to buy parts and waste my buddies time fixing their mess. Because I can't afford a shop. After already spending $175 for a stupid oil change and coolant exchange. If course it's not going to be their fault. So I'm out $175, plus the parts I'm gonna have to get. They aren't gonna cover that. Great job guys. Could have just admitted you messed up. Fixed your mistake. Kept a customer. Instead you made me feel like I'm just a joke. Great job loosing a customer. Definitely don't have all this money to waste. I will not be back. Guess I'll be calling the BBB tomorrow, and hopefully I'll actually get results. Pathetic experience.

The dealership documented that the differential fluid in my vehicle was not the correct viscosity, which can potentially cause damage over time. They provided me with written documentation of this issue. Based on that, I submitted a claim to Take 5 corporate requesting reimbursement for $172.41 so I could have the differential service properly completed at Infiniti. I was told I would receive a response within 5 business days. By April 2, I had heard nothing--no call, no email, no update. I then went back to the Barberton location on April 4 and spoke with the manager, Chris. He informed me that my claim had already been denied because he personally performed the service and believes the correct oil was used. He also stated that I should have received an email, which I never did. This is extremely concerning. I provided official documentation from a certified Infiniti dealership, yet my claim was denied without communication or proper follow-up. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. I trusted Take 5 with my vehicle, and now I'm left dealing with the consequences and paying out of pocket. At this point, I will be escalating this matter by filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

There was also another lady beside me getting the same high pressure sales tactic to do the coolant service. I left and went right home. The next morning on my way to work the heater wasn't working and the thermostat climbed into the red. I had to pull off the highway and limp my car along until I found a safe spot. It was 15° out and I had to wait there for a tow truck. The manager of the shop admitted to not filling my vehicle up and completing the coolant service to my husband. Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.
