I normally don't leave reviews, but after my recent experience, I feel obligated to warn others. I came in for help after my check-engine light came on from hitting a pothole. I already had a code and simply asked for an estimate. Instead of receiving basic customer service, I was met with attitude and unnecessary pushback. It's important to say that Angel, the manager, has ALWAYS been helpful, respectful, and understanding every single time I've come in. Angel goes out of his way to explain things. Angel even let me use his vehicle for a WEEK while my car was being fixed. That is beyond great customer service and Onnik makes me feel unwelcome and judged. The difference in customer service between them is night and day.. If this review were based on him alone, it would be 6 stars. Unfortunately, Onnik ruins the experience every time. He consistently provides poor service and acts irritated when asked simple questions. I finally asked for his name because I have had it with the way he is. If you go here, ask for Angel -- he's the only reason this place hasn't fallen apart but I've noticed less cars when I come in since Onnik. read more

When I was in the middle of purchasing a different vehicle Angel took the time to make sure that extended warranty that was offered to me was a reputable one. The moment I walked in, there was a young girl in there who was talking bad about another I guess employee that worked there and for 1 I thought was so inappropriate and unprofessional. They are very friendly here and the service is affordable. However be prepared to wait. and wait. and wait some more. They took 4x as long to do my car's services as they estimated (said it would be done in 1 day, they took 4.) it wouldn't be so bad if they just over estimated, but multiple times they delayed the pickup time. when they would tell us the car was done, we'd come in, wait in the office, only for them to say "just 15 mins". This place is a scam- payed $1000 and my car is still not fixed. Went in for a maybe $500 job and they charged well over $1000. Car was supposed to be ready within a day and it kept getting pushed back and days later my car is still not fully fixed. Was told by Jason to come get my car in the morning. I came in at the requested time and was told by employees that they don't know why I'd be told to get my car at that time since they were not done. They were not at all transparent or honest about prices and kept adding on charges for things that were not an issue when I first went in. After paying over $1000, I took my car to another shop (because my initial issue was not fixed) and they verified that I was ripped off and the job should NOT have been close to $1000. This was such an unfortunate experience and can not understand why a business would do this. read more

Awesome service! Requested a quote through yelp, responded in a few minutes. Got to the shop a little late, but everything was completed within an hour. I went in for a SMOG and car inspection to make sure everything is good to go for a road trip. The SMOG check was very quick, and the provided the documents to the DMV as requested. The car inspection was free, and it a quick diagnostic. Not many issues, but you are welcome to come back to fix it anytime. Overall, good service, try to be on time, as being late does delay the shop as they are very busy with other customers that also schedule. read more

I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here. Especially not if you have a diesel! Not only were we quoted $800+ for a $300 job, but also did the requested inspection not find several other very simple things that needed to be fixed (for example, an oil leak from the oil pan gasket and brakes). Staff was very unresponsive and at some point did not even remember having our truck. When we asked if we could pick it up after getting a second opinion, we were advised that the mechanic hadn't cleared the car to leave the shop. BEWARE: this shop will tell you that your car has unnecessary repairs, not fix actual repairs, and then refused to honor their "warranty" for the repair they didn't complete. I came in for a knock sensor replacement after my light came on and I read the code. Went in and was charged $60 for checking the light - even though there's a sign out front that says free- and they "replaced" the knock sensor $360 repair. My check engine light came on again during the warranty period stated on their receipt, as the problem wasn't fixed. I attempted to return here 3 times during my warranty period - as they are the only mechanic I've heard of who doesn't do appointments and will let you leave your car all day without working on it - they pulled it to the garage and they said the light wasn't on and therefore there is no problem. I explained they didn't fix the issue and I can't leave my car at the mechanic all day as it's my only car and they did not want to honor my "warranty". After arguing with the receptionist (black hair and bad attitude) that obviously there is a problem if my check engine light is on, the manager went to the tech on my car to read the code they "couldn't find" and the Knock Sensor code was clearly displaying in the history. Then I argued that they didn't fix the issue and keep stating there is no issues. They attempted to "repair" and kept my car for an ENTIRE WEEKEND and then claimed it was fixed. 2 weeks later my check engine light came on again and when I brought it in to get a refund - I was told the light "needed to be on upon arrival" or "could be anything" which is why I had it read again myself and it was the sensor. After arguing with another manager and having to fight for a refund for the repair they never actually did, I took my car to an honest mechanic who fixed my issue the next day for $30 cheaper and in 3 hours. This business also has a terrible record keeping system as they had the wrong car completely under my license plate, unable to pull up my invoices for the repairs they claimed they did which they obviously didn't, and will do everything to ensure they don't have to fix your problem or give you your money back. Go keep your receipts if you've already gone here, if not then save your time and money and go anywhere else. read more

I took my cars there for an oil change, I have 3. When I picked up one of them they told meld me my struts were worn out and I needed to replace them. They quote me a price of a little over $2,ooo I took my car to 2 other auto merchants they told me my struts were fine.
