Look at your 1 star ratings - there are so many - it will keep you reading for awhile. the information shared on the ratings is enough to make change if you wanted. My review is nothing new. Again , this place is a disgrace and no one should place a love one there. This is not just me or other families. A doctor from a hospital spoke to staff after the grove caused the patient a trip to the er which resulted in deterioration of the patient. After getting off the phone the doctor turned to me and was in disbelief noting the lack of knowledge and how grossly unprofessional the medical staff member was. I cannot stress enough how god awful the Grove is. If you want untrained, unprofessional and quite frankly unqualified individuals caring for your loved ones , you find your place.

Within moments, a team of five professionals were already attending to her. I was completely overwhelmed--in the best way--by their professionalism and kindness. I couldn't stop crying, not from fear, but from joy and relief, knowing my mom was finally in a safe and caring environment. Just prior to this, my mom had been at another facility for less than an hour, where absolutely nothing was done. We brought her back home because it was clear she wasn't receiving the care she needed. The contrast with The Grove has been night and day. In just 12 days at The Grove, we have already had an in-person care team meeting. Together, we agreed that my mom should see a specialist physician. The meeting was yesterday at 1:00 PM--and by this morning, I had already received a call with an update confirming that the physician had seen her. If that isn't true care, I don't know what is. Do not hesitate to bring your loved one here. They will be fully taken care of with patience, compassion, and dignity. And just as importantly, the family members are also supported and treated with kindness. We will forever be grateful. Thanks to the exceptional rehabilitation team, I received occupational and physical therapy twice a day from a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive staff. Their doctors met my every need. During my stay, I experienced some unexpected complications from the surgery that required me to extend my time there, but their team continued to provide unwavering support and attention working with my insurance to asure I was getting the care I needed. After 24 days, I was able to walk out of the facility--something that would not have been possible without their dedication and expertise. The staff was compassionate, attentive, and truly listened to my needs during a very difficult time. I highly recommend this facility and am incredibly grateful for the care I received.

She ignored my call bell ring for my meds and when she arrived with my pain meds she began screaming at me about her workload. I reported her. After that she purposely held my meds back. Administration took her off my case but since she was nurse on duty she still had access the the dispensing of my meds. Wanda(the cna), Gladys, Jenai, Ms Shackleford RN, Pat (DON) and the exceptional physical therapist team made me realize that there are good and exceptionally caring people who work at this facility. But they are letting one rotten egg Nurse Phoebe destroy their image. I would go back but not allow them to put me under care of Nurse Phoebe!

This will be a page turner…read more First a synopsis: My first visit to this hospital, to see a patient. Everything I encountered left me impressed! Over the course of several decades; I visited dozens of people, in almost as many Hospitals. So I can confidently write this review based on actual experience and not emotion. From the moment you arrive on the property you'll notice it's well laid out in a logical and convenient manner for visitors, usually family, who are already stressed. There's plenty of free parking near the several entrances. The Security Dept personnel are extremely courteous, professional, and reassuring; explaining procedures and giving directions to the various locations, in a very pleasant manner. The staff at the Nurse's Station acknowledge you when you arrive. Unlike many places, where you could stand there indefinitely while they stare at their computer monitors; without the slightest inkling of proper guest relations. IF, it was the other way around I'm certain these same people would be raging "Karen's"! The food service Dept. delivers meals that are on par with a four star hotel restaurant . There are actual ceramic dishes, no plastic plates or styrofoam glasses, knives and forks like a real restaurant, again no plastic sporks. The tray is artistically set, as opposed to haphazardly arranged. They realize that when you are in the hospital, there's not much else to do; so food is one of those things you can actually look forward to and enjoy. So, after a few visits; I can say everyone I've encountered has been exceptionally professional, helpful, and courteous. It's reflected in the quality of care they provide in every aspect of the Hospital's operation.

When they sent a nurses aid, she couldnt do the work, and when i told hospice this, the woman who sent the aid became very defensive, and retaliating. I was very upset with the lack of care and professionalism. In my fathers case, they ordered a bunch of old equipment that was not needed and then the company sends huge bills for thousands of dollars, and make threats to place liens on bank accounts and property....what a scam. Never in my whole life have i Experienced such a terrible organization that had ties with another company where they order used medical equipment without any concent or authorization on equipment that was old and not required, yet hospice ordered it and then we get hit with insane bills and threats of liens when there was clearly no reason to send this stuff in the first place by hospice. Then hospice left right afterwards and the equipment was never picked up for over 10 months and both organizations failed to or intentionally left this equipment in order to run up a huge bill without any notice of any issues regarding payments or understanding of what was going on up until now. The same used type of equipment can be found on ebay for anywhere between 10 to 100 bucks or less....what a scam.

Every single employee I encountered was professional, efficient, and most of all, compassionate.
