I'm a slow decision maker when it comes to large purchases especially since I became disabled and can't just work more to increase my income. I finally decided it's time to look for a new used vehicle. It took me over a year to decide which vehicle. One that met the criteria finally popped up and so I decided to at least go for a test drive to see if my research proved correct. The answer to that is yes. In terms of my interaction so far with this business the response I received to my online inquiry was odd at best. I requested a test drive and Got an email that didn't make sense. Said some thing about having to do research and getting back to me which clearly was some sort of canned response since what kind of research kind of test drive require? The lot is about 30 miles from my home and with the gas prices being well over five dollars a gallon I didn't want to just show up and have the car not be there. I decided to plan a multiple stop trip to make it worth my while and indeed just showed up. The overall experience was pretty pleasant. I quickly got to the test drive and was allowed to take it out by myself to really run it through it's paces. It was a pretty high mileage vehicle so I certainly didn't expect perfection. My big concern would be something super expensive that would be catastrophic for me financially. I did experience some thing of concern but couldn't quite identify what it was. I talked to the manager who's a mechanic and he told me a few things it could be but I didn't think it was that. Any car I buy will go to my mechanic for inspection so they agreed to do that although I haven't executed on that yet. Overall it was fairly low pressure and I really appreciate that. I have to walk away and think about things and was allowed to do that without someone grabbing my arm and pulling me back in. Since I didn't make a purchase I really can't comment on the sales process for post sales experience but so far so good. read more

Twice I've been interested in vehicles on their lot and TWICE they've ghosted me and not communicated. Not a good way to treat prospective customers. There will NOT be a third time. Avoid these guys! read more

I recently purchased a car from the Kendall Value Lot. I was very pleased with the purchase experience.......right up to the point that I discovered that the timing belt was 30,000 miles OVERDUE for a change. I called them, went in to the office, spoke with the salesman and then to the manager. We had (what I thought was) a productive conversation. I explained that they had sold me what was essentially a Ticking-Time-Bomb. Had I known that this Critical Service was due I could have weighed that information in my decision process. I understood that, based on our conversation, I would have access to their discounted shop rate, and I would pay for the repairs. Perfect. What I GOT was "the Hand-Off" and no discount what so ever. In fact, the repairs would cost more than my regular mechanic and I would receive LESS service. Buyer Beware! read more

I had been looking for an older Nissan Frontier when I noticed a post on Auto Trader for one in Boise at Kendall. There was only a brief description and no photo. I contacted Greg through the portal by which we started communicating almost immediately. Living in Oregon, we were already planning a trip to Boise, so I scheduled a visit to see the truck. Because of Greg's quick response we were able to be first in order to see and place a deposit on the truck. The vehicle had just been entered into their system and was awaiting service and the repair of a few items. Meantime, Greg found it and sent me photos. Greg was very upfront with what the dealer found and was going to repair. He took us to the shop where we examined the truck. Just right for us! Not much negotiating because of the demand, but the price was reasonable. After all was done Greg let our family member drive the truck, even allowing him to have a scan run at a nearby auto parts store. We went back over to pick up the truck and Doug, in finance, went out of his way to complete our paperwork and get us on the road in a flash! No need to go anywhere else. We were in the market for a very specific vehicle. We had gone to 3 other dealerships. Either they did not have it, or it was not what we were wanting, or it was overpriced and underwhelming. We decided to stop in. We were greeted by Greg. We explained our need. He had shown us exactly what was in our requirements. Seating, towing capacity, price range, and payment amount. NEW FOUND LIFE LONG CUSTOMER!! After falling in love with a car at a different dealership and then having my heart broken when I found out how much I was decieved, I decided to come to kendall value lot. They started out by thanking me for giving them a chance. I was taken aback at how friendly and kind and accommodating the team was. Hector carried us through the car buying process, and Fernando also played a big role. What is incredible to me is how thoroughly Kendall inspects the cars that come in. We received full transparency on our used car, and they replaced anything that could possibly be a concern before it even got parked on the lot. I also love the 3,000 mile warantee and the 3 free oil changes. That isn't common for used lots! They really cared about us and were so genuine and kind. They made the process so simple. They worked with us (and our grouchy one year old daughter) and made my dream car happen. I couldn't be happier. I'm still not over how in love I am with my car.
