I had bought new a 2024 Nissan from Kendal with the extra maintenance and warranty. After 30k miles the truck is experiencing electrical issues. I've now been stranded 4-times in 1-month. I've taken it in to the dealership and it was given back to me in poor condition. And, the problem was not fixed. I called Kendal Nissan to see if I could get some help a sale manager got online with me and instead of listening to me he went into excuse mode. Totally unprofessional. I probably "will not" buy anything from Kendal Nissan due to their problematic customer service issues. I'm presently stranded waiting for a tow. I recently bought my new 2026 Nissan Armada at this location. They were great. Easiest car deal I ever made. No pressure sales. Crystal Lopez was our sales person and she was wonderful. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. And after we bought it Jay Herman was so helpful in teaching us everything about how to set up the electronics in the vehicle. He spent at least an hour with us and even gave us his personal phone number to call in case we had questions. The finance side was the easiest I have ever bought a vehicle. I had an interview scheduled with Kendall Auto Group with AUTUMN CLARK, and the experience was incredibly unprofessional. I showed up on time, only to find out the interviewer never came in. I received no call, no email, no communication at all. I had emailed multiple times beforehand with no response. When I arrived, the staff called her, and she suddenly said she couldn't come back because she was sick yet still no one contacted me to cancel or reschedule. Then to make it worse, I later received an email claiming they had contacted me and that I didn't respond, and that they were withdrawing my application. That statement is completely false. I never received a single call, voicemail, email, or message from anyone before the interview. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism was shocking. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how they treat employees. Would not recommend pursuing employment here. read more

I took my vehicle in for a 59.95 synthetic oil change special and requested that they look at my left tire area because it was making a sound. This inspection cost $175. Total charge $275. The math didn't quite add up. In addition, I drive off with my dash lights showing VDC off and my slip light on. When asked about this, I am told when you drive older vehicles you never know what can happen. These lights were never on prior to showing up to this appointment. I am having a hard time to understand how a $175 diagnostic inspection doesn't inform me of this issue in the first place and I have to inform them? What exactly does a $175 inspection include.....I guess not the lights on the dash that inform you of a problem! read more

We received a notice in the mail about a software update on our Nissan car. It looked like a legitimate warning from the Nissan Corporation, so we had no reason to suspect it was fraudulent. The only two choices of Nissan dealers in Boise are Dennis Dillon and Bronco Motors. After a horrible experience with Dennis Dillon many years ago, that left Bronco Motors as the only alternative. I scheduled a service appointment for 10 AM on a Saturday morning for them to look at the car and install the software update. We figured that we could drop off the car and then go visit my mother-in-law who lived nearby. The whole thing should not take more than an hour, or maybe two? Three hours later we never heard anything. Since we were in the vicinity, I stopped in to ask for an update, and the service advisor told me that they did not even get a chance to look at our car, but that it was "next in line" and we should be getting an update "soon". About 10 minutes later a different guy calls me back and says that they were working on our car for the past two hours but can't get inside the on-board computer system to update the software. He then asks to keep the car until Monday because their "software expert" only works Monday through Friday. I was shocked at this incredible turn of events. First the story was they could not get it in for three hours, then it changed to they had been working on it for two hours but could not access the computer to update the software. I immediately said "no thanks," took the keys back, and left. In the time since we have received three notices in the mail allegedly from Nissan saying that we had an "important service reminder" that was incomplete and to "take our car back to Bronco Motors Nissan as soon as possible". A check of our VIN showed no outstanding recalls or servicing. Total marketing scheme to get us back to the dealership. The service advisors also could really work on their customer service skills. The two men working that day acted like we were an inconvenience and one even had the audacity to ask me why I drove "all the way out to Nampa" for a car service appointment. You're 192-point inspection on used vehicles missed quite a few points on our 2019 Dodge Journey. In the 3 months and less than 2,000 miles we've had it we had a battery fail the first week, a rim that was on the vehicle when you sold it to us was bent and had to be replaced ($700) and now the ball joint/CV joint came off while driving. Lucky we weren't seriously injured. We've bought 2 previous new cars from you and was very happy with those but this experience is not turning out well read more

I purchased a 2023 Frontier in December. I had rodent damage to the fuel system the first part of May. I had the vehicle towed here for repair. It's now been there for 4 weeks and they still haven't ordered the parts. After insurance approval and my approval. The parts are 10 days out, so best case there is another 2 weeks before the vehicle is done. This in my opinion is the worst place to take your vehicle. I was told by a tech that the vehicle should be done by Friday, I'm heading on vacation and want it finished up before I leave. Total radio silence for a week and he hadn't even ordered parts. Myself and my son have been coming to have service on our cars for years. Broncomotors have gone downhill with constant changes in service staff, untrained staff, and worse of all dishonest staff. There is a reason why the company has a revolving door and one of the issues reading between lines is that service personnel are being pushed to have customers do unnecessary work on their cars. We have a pile of service paperwork for years and it's interesting to see the inconsistencies in how the inspection finds "issues" in your cars. On One visit it needs everything replaced and the next visit just one thing. Don't fall in the trap when the inspection finds a bunch of issues because more than likely it doesn't need replacing or service. Last year it was a higher pricing for a battery change because the dishonest staff included an unnecessary 24 point inspection when it's not needed for battery replacement. Today, my son called and was told it was 55 dollars for an oil change. Beware, because the new tactic is that they take your car for the service and once it's done they tell you a different price. It turns out they charged 67.54 for the oil change once everything was done for both cars. My son wasn't going to lower himself to their level in not paying after a different price was charged. The trick is that there is a oil change for 54 and then the oil change, fluid flush and some other stuff for 67 but they won't tell you that and instead go for the higher price. My son purchased the tires here and requested free rotation but they didn't do it. They can't lie to customers when the lobby has a window for customers to watch when service is done. To add further insult they didn't wash his frontier properly. Customers in the area are caught in a tough spot because it's either broncomotors or Dennis Dillon for Nissan service and Dennis Dillon has even worse reviews. If I can give a minus I would. My car was running when I took it. They gave us a bunch of diagnosis including a new transmission. We gave them the ok to do a new transmission. Almost a month later they said that my car doesn't start and they want me to pay for it. I dealt with them before and they were ok as long as I didn't write a bad review. No more. Came off the freeway looking for some help or advice on what to do as far as the trouble with the truck all the guy said was sorry we have no mechanic so can't help you. He then Told me to pop the hood and started guessing on what might be the issues. Turned me away and didn't offer to make an appointment to look at the truck once a mechanic was available. I took my truck to another shop and was told the vehicle isn't able to be driven due to the amount of repairs needed. I'm glad I got to the other shop safely. I just specifically recommended that a friend who is in the market for an EV not buy Nissan, because the Nissan here made their EV charger unavailable except by code, similar to the Nissan in Boise, rendering my Leaf practically unusable in the valley, because now the only fast charger that is available for the Leaf is at Walmart in Boise, and it takes most of my charge to get from Boise to Nampa. I've utilized this charger to make keeping this car feasible, but that is no longer possible, and I'll be recommending everyone else also avoid. read more

The absolute worst service center around. Matthew Wright our service advisor and I think the service manager is all promise no deliver. For 8 days he had my vehicle to figure out that a vibration was tires and an alignment. He then promised and promised to get it done until Friday at closing I had to go down there and tell them I wasn't leaving until I got my car back. All that "needed" to be done was to have someone drive it to verify it was repaired. The GM had to do that because Matthew is incompetent and doesn't care whether your car gets done or not! Come to find out that after I read the receipt the technician had already driven it! Matt was just being a jerk is the only thing I could conclude. Booked out a little low according to other dealers I know. The vehicle I was interested in, has already been there several months but still wasn't able to work out a deal. Not impressed. Dealer claims to participate in Nationwide Buy@Home program run through Nissan Corporate but really does not. Went thru the whole process to purchase my dream car because there are none in my local area. This car has been on their lot for over a month but the General Manager, Casey, informed me that there are "20 local people in line waiting to come in to see that car and buy it so we have to save it for them. We don't sell to people outside our area." I totally understand that this is their prerogative and applaud them for supporting their local community... but I also that they have the option not to list their cars and activate the Buy@Home button on the NissanUSA.com website to prevent a situation such as this. The reason I know this is that there is a disclaimer on the national website stating that all cars listed may not be available for purchase based on the dealership's desire to list it for purchase in the program. This particular vehicle's purchase button was not activated for a month and only turned on this week so I thought the dealership was ready to sell it and get it off it's lot. Not so. Totally frustrating experience. Why in this day and age would you want to turn down a guaranteed sale? read more

We did show up right before they were closing but that didn't stop JD from making sure we were happy! We didn't leave until 10pm that night, and we wanted to make sure that JD would be available to finish out our transaction the next morning as we really liked him. He was able to do that. He also followed up with us the next day to see if we had any questions about our purchase. so I initially bought a vehicle over two months ago I had it for three weeks financing fell through I went back got into another vehicle. I drove it off the lot it was making noise I called them they said bring it back the next day. I took it back they had it for over nine weeks I went and picked it up on Monday it's still making a horrible sounds, it is not mechanically sound. I called every week to check, they kept telling me they were waiting on parts. When I finally picked it up on Monday they said they put all this new stuff in there and yet when you turn it to the right it sounds like somethings going to fall out from underneath it. it doesn't sound good! They overcharged me for the vehicle that I bought it is not worth near as much as what I paid for it. My salesman was very nice and he was not pushy but the service department and how high the prices they rob you blind. I'm very disappointed very disgusted in bronco motors and my previous review for my car that I had originally bought was great but the second vehicle is nothing but junk I paid over $18,000 for a piece of shit!!!! and when I test drove it I thought everything sounded good I don't know what happened when I got it out on the freeway it was a whole Nother ball game. The WORST car shopping experience I've ever had. They tried to get me to sign a permission document allowing them to use my credit information to affiliate partners for marketing. THEN they tried to get me to sign an agreement to purchase the car if they could come back with a price I wanted- before they told me the price and financing! I would never recommend Bronco Motors despite the fact that my mom has only purchased cars from this company and if I could give a zero I would. I went there because I had a friend who started working there and his manager bulldozed me into a truck that was a very good looking truck but not what I wanted. They way underpaid me for my trade in and instead of steering me into a vehicle I could afford or tell me I couldn't afford what I wanted they leased me a truck at a rate that was affordable. They expected the depreciation to be significant and I agreed to pay that amount (without realizing it, ya know, terms and conditions) although at the end of my lease it didn't depreciate near as much as they projected it. They accepted a HUGE down payment on it. Of that down payment the majority of it went towards fees INSTEAD of the actual principle. I had no idea that I agreed to pay over 10k of leasing fees over my 3 year leasing terms and 9k down payment. I came into the dealership hoping for them to rectify the situation but to no avail. I visited the dealership two times and though the salesperson I dealt with seemed to actually care and feel bad for how much I got taken advantage of the manager didn't care and they didn't right their wrong. I walked away from a 20k investment over my 3 year lease terms because I got taken advantage of and they refused to fix it. I'm pleased to say I sold my truck to a different dealership who heard my story and not only righted the wrongs but they outdid themselves and offered me a trade in I could sell the truck at privately. Never again will I buy from Bronco Motors and I will never endorse them. You've lost a future customer for life. read more

In August I came to this Nissan service center for the first time for a second opinion on my car. Jack, the master technician gave me an honest assessment after cleaning the engine and doing diagnostics. I thought I had an oil leak due to dripping oil. However, after they had all the old oil cleaned up, they found that there was no leak anywhere. They even drove the car around town and rechecked everything. Still no leak. Jack recommended we do nothing at this time. This Nissan service department has won my trust! read more
