I used to go to Johnny's (next door to B Gate), but he really did a very poor job not once, but twice in successive visits. That ended my relationship with Johnny's. I stopped into B Gate because I have historically had good luck with Korean barbers. The owner of B Gate did not disappoint! She takes her time and does great work. She's very friendly and she has nice sense of humor. Prices are comparable to others in the area. When she's done, she uses a hot towel to clean your neck while she massages your neck. It's just a pleasant overall experience! I wholeheartedly recommend you giver her a try!

Only haircut I felt comfortable asking them for was a 2 on the sides, scissor cut the top. Haircuts always felt rushed and didn't seem like they took their time to make everything blend. Most recently I asked for a taper. I showed the gentleman a picture and video of my hair from another haircut. He quickly nodded and agreed. He then proceeded to shave my head and scissor cut the top. Haircut was done in about 5 minutes. I asked if he could continue blending it, which he agreed to, but all of my hair had been shaved with a 2 guard. Looks like I'm getting sent to bootcamp. We had been driving from Annapolis to Glen Burnie to get cuts, and waiting an excessive amount of time due to lack of professionalism. Darryl's shop is clean, pretty conveniently located - closer to Annapolis by far, he is professional - you can schedule appointments online, and he's great with kids. Needless to say, my kid has a new barber.
