This little pizzeria was the best food experience of my entire week in Key West. The Burrata was the perfect appetizer. Bruschetta was crispy, mozzarella was delicious. We shared a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. More than enough for two. For dessert we had the Tiramisu and one or each key lime and chocolate chip cannoli. All three were perfect. Perfect finish to our stay nearby. After plenty of fresh seafood we were both ready for pizza! Service was friendly and these guys know how to make a great pizza. Sat at the bar and enjoyed Chianti with our meal - the grilled romaine was a unique option instead of our typical Caesar, and the bread that came with the linguine and clams was fresh and warm and soaked up the tasty pasta sauce. I wish I had taken pics, but we were hungry and ready to eat. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait and it wasn't half of that. We were able to be seated and got our food quickly. The drinks were flowing and the pizza was on point. Our mission was to get Keylime pie at every stop, but we forgot to get it so we went back the next day and ordered key lime cannolis. Walked in and got the "seat yourself" vibe, there was an employee sitting at the 4 stool bar drinking beer and eating chips...didn't even acknowledge us. Bus boy was sweet and brought our drinks out quickly. Ordered a pizza and halfway through my first slice, I saw a roach walking across the middle of the floor. Add to that, loud reguetón music blasting from the kitchen area (which is open air to the dining area) competing over the other music playing in the background. Pizza was just ok, nothing special to write about and definitely not a place to return nor recommend. Totally worth driving 5 miles out to Stock Island and try out Roostica!!! What a gem in the heart of Key West just off Duval street. It's a great family owned place off the beaten path. It's a very small, quaint pizza and pasta place that does wood fired pizza perfectly! The owner and other staff all come together to make your meal an enjoyable experience. Their pizza was perfectly sized to feed 2-3 people. The salad was very fresh. The real star was the dessert - a vibrant, fruity cheesecake-like treat that was absolutely delicious. I'd come back just for that! Parking, however, was tough. I had to circle the block multiple times with my daughter and two dogs in the car. Clemente's Trolley is a small homey place with a casual friendly vibe. Maybe six or so tables and a window bar on the inside, plus a few high top tables outside on the sidewalk. We were one of only two occupied inside tables at 5:30PM, but by the time we left around an hour later the place was hoppin with a line out the door. Shared a mushroom pie, caesar salad and I had a glass of pinot noir. Pizza was excellent, loved the fresh tasty mushrooms resting on melty cheese. The wood fired char on the crust was wonderful too. I intentionally waited until this morning (day after) to post this review because I wasn't sure how ridiculous the situation had truly become. We came to Clemente's last night as a party of four because we were told this was the best pizza on the island. When my friend asked a server roaming the restaurant how we got our names on the list, he was told "I'm not important enough here to know". This was the first red flag... We did eventually find a hostess and got our names on the list. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes and they would call his cell phone when our table was ready. We waited patiently directly outside the restaurant for the first 20 minutes, and watched all those who arrived before us get shown to their tables. After waiting a further 15 minutes, we finally received our call "that our table was READY". It was at this moment a pushy woman in another group of four half-stumbled over from Duvall Street bellowing about how she missed her call from the restaurant earlier in the evening. We began to watch parties over the next 15 minutes (who had clearly arrived after us) get seated as well. The restaurant has several tables outside clearly sized for groups of two or four. After watching a pair of two who arrived after us get seated at a table of four, and then the hollering woman's group of 4 seated at two four-person tables pushed together, I was finished. If you're keeping track, we've now been waiting about 50 minutes. I told my friends I would meet them later and left because I do not suffer fools. I subsequently learned that upon ordering, the PIZZA restaurant was out of Diet Coke for the evening despite there being a grocery store a block away. If this is how the front of house operates I shudder to think what is happening in the kitchen. All that said, it is supposed to be good pizza so do yourself a favor and just order it to-go. read more

It is nice to sit outside on the sidewalk and watch the people go by. Went here with a party of 8 the first time and sat outside. The second time, we sat inside with a party of 2. Both times the food was good. Be careful inside, the people next to us had definitely been overserved and the seating is shared, so they were flopping around like fish out of water which shakes the whole bench. My pepperoni was loaded, which is typically great, but as I had a sensitive stomach I ate some of my friends margarita instead. Caesar Salad was fresh !
