Sautéed Yellowtail Snapper salad with fresh fruit salsa and citrus dressing

Highly recommended, we enjoyed Salute after our Yoga on the Beach! Service was friendly and location has free parking. I had the yellow tail snapper salad, which was on the lunch special. Delicious! Hubby had a shrimp salad sandwich.

We came here for dinner during our trip to Key West. Here is what I thought. Atmosphere: Salute! is a quiet little place located along the beach in Key West. It is definitely a beach bar/restaurant. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Our table was nice and clean. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the ocean! There was a nice breeze so we never felt hot while eating outside. Service: Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Our food came out fresh and delicious. Food: You can tell the focus here is FOOD. They had a small regular menu and a specials menu that changed everyday. They don't sell any fried food here which I loved because we eat so healthy! I got their 'Pina Colada' as a drink, it was so light and refreshing. They also provide free bread and butter once you order. I had their Caprese salad with a side of roasted potatoes which was light and refreshing for a hot summer day. My husband had their cheeseburger with potato salad and enjoyed it. This is a great place to come for good food and good views. It's also a great spot for a nice, quiet meal.

Food was good. Nothing amazing but it was fresh and on the beach. Ambiance is nice, you can cool off inside or stay slightly less cool but have great views of the beach and ocean outside. Service was quick and great. Not the best key lime pie in the keys. It wasn't very tasty but the meringue was good.

Been a few trounce eating here. Then it was ok. This time food was excellent. grilled scallop salad with mango salsa. Ummmmm. Fettuccine excellent as well as caprese salad. Good drinks, good music Sunday night, outside seating on the beach.

Calamari in marinara might be my new fav! Lovely dinner beachside at Saulte. Great staff and timeliness with orders going in and out. Plenty of seating and a variety of options on the menu. The seafood special I had came with fettuccini pasta - lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Others tried the spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccini Alfredo. Seafood tasted very fresh.

Located on the beach with a wide view of the ocean. We dined outside and enjoyed the scenery of people walking by and some playing volleyball. Our server was friendly and attentive. She knew the menu and was quick with our drinks. I had the Coconut mojito which was delicious. The coconut rum was a nice touch. We were here for lunch and my husband and I both opted for salad. Probably one of the top seared tuna salads I've had....at least in recent memory. This salad was simple, flavorful, and oh so good. The tuna was heavenly. The orange pinwheels complimented the dressing so well. We traveled to the restaurant via the Old Town Trolley so if you are doing that you can jump off at stop #10!

It was a Black Friday sunset dinner with no waiting line--we were seated immediately as a party of three. The food was surprisingly delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were prompt and polite. Live entertainment on the beach right in front of the restaurant added a charming touch to the experience. Parking was hassle-free. A convenient spot for catching the sunset or enjoying a quick drink and bite after swimming in the area. Few seating options, tables on the sand, near the parking lot, and on a concrete patio. Open and shaded areas.

Located right on the beach away from the bustle of Duval Street, Salute on the Beach is a great spot for dinner (or a drink) at sunset. If you sit outside, there's beautiful views of the ocean. It can definitely get busy, and the wait can be long. However, they do have a to-go section where you can grab a drink while you wait. Food and drinks are good. Both the calamari and mussels were tasty, and a good price for the amount of food, too. Delicious key lime pie! Restaurant is also right by the pier, so a nice little walk while you wait for your table or after dinner.

    Mahi and shrimp

Atmosphere was light, beach fun. Very casual. We came from the beach. They are dog friendly. Tori was a great server. I had an ahi tuna salad with orange slices, red onion, feta, and an orange vinaigrette. My husband had the mahi and shrimp over bow tie pasta. Delicious!!

The absolute best calamari I have ever had and the table agreed. The mussels also had the same reaction! Cool old beach vibe excellent service, a true little gem on the beach. Don't find those too often. We just accidentally stumbled in and was a fantastic experience!

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

Well we're a big group we did get seating fairly fast beside them having to out tables together they weren't busy at all. Once we got seating we wait for a good 10 mins or so for menus we had to eventually grab our selves. A couple walked in few minutes after us and got their menu as they sat down Now the boil. The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.

I was a little bummed we didn't get to see the view, but the ambiance inside is lovely too. Their menus light up which was so helpful in a dark restaurant. Our server was super helpful and made some great recommendations. We tried a few different small plates to share and enjoyed a few cocktails. Absolutely love the desserts here. It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated with a lovely view of the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we were happy we chose this restaurant. Food: I always enjoy when a restaurant offers a creative and inventive cocktail menu. I won't go into detail on each one, but they were all very good, especially the Spiced Old Fashioned. At our server's suggestion, we ordered a couple of plates of the Grilled Ciabatta Bread. The bread was nicely grilled, and the roasted garlic manchego butter made it especially delicious. I normally try not to fill up on bread, but this was absolutely worth it. We ordered an eclectic mix of small and large plates. Some of the standout dishes included the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Swordfish, and Crab Cake. The Brussels sprouts took top honors, perfectly roasted without being greasy, full of flavor, and complemented by a generous amount of bacon. The one disappointment was the Pork Shank Osso Buco. While it was tender, it was only warm and a bit underseasoned. It was good, but not great, especially for someone who enjoys pork shank dishes. We saved room for dessert, and they were all crowd pleasers. My personal favorite was the Cuban Bread Pudding. The Chocolate Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also unique and delicious. Service: We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The hostess and our server did a great job of making us feel welcome. The entire two-hour meal was well paced, and we always felt attended to. I was especially impressed with the backlit menu portfolios. They made it easy to read in the evening without guests needing to use their phone flashlights, which was a thoughtful and effective use of technology. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they placed a sign on the table acknowledging the occasion, which was a nice touch. It would have been even better if one of the desserts had included a lit candle. Atmosphere: The setting is beautiful. We were seated in a smaller dining room with several other tables. When we first arrived, there was a larger, very boisterous group nearby, and it made it difficult to hear our server. Fortunately, they left about 30 minutes into our meal, and the atmosphere became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our waterfront view added to the experience. This was a very special evening. It was also the most expensive meal we had in Key West, so it was reasonable to have high expectations. With a few improvements, it could have been a five-star experience. Definitely a place we would return to.
