Jennifer is incredible when it comes to insurance and making everything easy to understand, which takes so much stress out of the process. Dr. Jung is patient, gentle, and always explains procedures thoroughly, and Dihn, my hygienist, is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I used to dread dental appointments and avoided cleanings whenever possible. Now, I actually look forward to my twice-yearly visits. I came in and the lobby is small but super cute. It smelt so nice inside! The ladies at the front were nice & efficient. I was brought back and the hygienist went straight to work. I got X-rays of my mouth and teeth done. She was skilled at her job because that was the fastest I had ever gotten X-rays done! With someone who has a small mouth I appreciated it. We had some small talk and she got to cleaning my teeth. My God today I needed that! Once she was done Dr. Stafford came in and checked my mouth because I needed a fill-in. She was so kind. She told me there was another area that may be a problem but would keep an eye on it. She suggested other things I may also need to look into but nothing that was pressing at the moment. I didn't realize she knew one of my old dentists and to know she was doing fine made me happy. Back to the front staff she told me about my insurance and when and what they were going to cover and it made it easy for me to budget around the expense. I am glad that I found Dr. Stafford's dental office. I really lucked up again finding a great dentist that has the staff to match!

I drove 20 minutes and left my job and took him out of school to be there and we were there 10 minutes early. At 9:40 I went to the desk and confirmed our appointment was at 9am. They stated we were next and I asked if so how long would it be before we would be next. The receptionist asked someone and they stated they didn't know. My time is valuable and everything did to get to this appointment was a waste. I made a decision at that time this will not be the place for us cause my time and effort wasn't appreciated. Why book appointments if everyone is waiting over an hour to be seen. I guess I got my answer to not move forward and chose a dentist that values their customers. Maybe since I wasn't a paying customer they didn't value me but now you lost a potential customer.

They discuss with you one thing in appointment room and often times you sign another and they'll go back and forth with you about what you agreed to and 'discussed' like it's a battle who's right or wrong. I told them I was no longer wanting to be a patient and requested my X-rays then the whole mood really changed. Dr Shatto is completely unprofessional and today it really showed the dynamic in their office and what I expected. He came into the room for my fillings, asked why I wanted to leave being a patient, I stated personal reasons, and he stated he would not be able to do my fillings. They gossip about patients sometimes thinking the patient can't hear, this dentist office usually have a totally different moral but now I am glad todays appointment went the way it did and I dodged a bullet. Dr Shatto also recommended Invisalign a costly penny for me which I am not ideal candidate for but still just wanted to make profit on a more severe case. Even after telling me he didn't want to do my fillings, he continued on to discuss my wisdom tooth. Mind you, my wisdom tooth he attempted to take out a couple years ago, he was only able to take out partial which left me in excruciating pain until he was able to take the rest out a week and a half later. Beware. Save the headache and customer service experience, let me be an example.

I just let them fix the cavities, so they did the filling in the following week, but the fillings totally failed, I have experienced tooth pain while eating very soft food like veggies, and cold sensitivities for all the teeth done fillings with them, while I didn't have any issues with my any teeth before the fillings done, what's even worse is that the gap in between the teeth is to small and the floss string can't get in, I complaint those issues with Dr. Vazquez and went there for the second visit, she then asked me to bite on a paper with blue and red color and adjusted my bite on one teeth not the other two adjacent teeth and tried to open the gap in between, but because the gap is too small and she didn't check the gap after the filling, it ends up to hurt my teeth with lots of blood, she cheated me to say if things don't go better, I want you to come back. I came back a week later and complained about my tooth pain issues and she started to adjust the bite on that two teeth but still not able to open the gap, so she offered to redo the fillings. There is no reason I should do any filling with such a disqualified dentist that never check bite after filling or the gaps in between the teeth with simple floss, also not mixing the material well that caused sensitivity to me, I asked for the refund for the money I paid to their office so that I can pay out of my pocked to get it fixed in another more qualified dentist, they told me they need to ask their manager but I never got reply.

I discovered this amazing office 3 years ago as I was blessed to find out about Lakewood for the 1st time! They make you feel like you have been a patient for a very long time. Norma was the one to seat me for my treatment and you can tell she has passion for what she does. I even had treatment in a room with a big window with a beautiful cardinal visiting and their office Mascot Minnie Pearl to greet me and say hello!
