What a treasure it was to find such caring people. I really felt like part of their family, they are the type of people I remember dealing with. My son bought carpet from them a few years ago and recommended them to me. As soon as I told them my name, they asked if I was related to him. It was like a family reunion. They were more than helpful and I couldn't be happier that I dealt with them. Installation was great. The men moved what furniture I couldn't move and replaced everything before they left. I needed new carpet for three of my bedrooms and started the process with very little knowledge, After searching Google and contacting some of the larger flooring companies I fortunately stumbled onto Kenny's. What a great, local, family run business! They couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, and professional. Kenny himself came out to give me an estimate. He and his install team always showed up on time for any appointments at my house and did a great job on the install. They're price was very competitive and the carpet looks great! P.S. - Don't fall for the free install offer from Home Depot. The price I was quoted, including the "free" install, was still more than what I ended up paying at Kenny's. I'm writing this on behalf of my mother-in-law, who doesn't have a computer. She recently had Kenny's replace her living room carpeting. They also stretched her bedroom carpeting to smooth it out. She is so happy with their work! From Sean the salesman to Jay and Kevin the installers, the whole process was smooth and easy. She thought she needed new bedroom carpeting due to the lumpy appearance, but Sean explained that stretching it will be all that she needed. It's so nice that he was honest and didn't try to sell her something she didn't need. Jay and Kevin were professional, efficient and on time. I had three rooms and a staircase carpeted as well as a kitchen, breakfast area and hall covered with vinyl planking. I was so impressed with the quality of the installers. I knew when they were coming, the progress of my jobs, and any concerns or suggestions they might have. The carpet guys were out in a day and I didn't have any trace of their being there except beautiful new carpet. John the flooring installer went above and beyond leaving me with beautiful flooring and "touch ups" that had been waiting for attention for years. We just used Kenny's flooring for our basement stairs. We live in spring grove and I pass by there store almost everyday. I called right when they opened, received a rough number for the project. My wife and my three gals...that all still under 5 (God Bless, no idea how she does it) went into the store picked out a carpet out of the remnants....(too save some green). And wal-la. They had it installed within three days. Perfect execution, great clean job all around. I told them that we would be loyal customers but explained that's the only spot in our house that has carpet. Still they made us feel like we just bought the most expensive carpet and got a whole house of it. Wonderful service, thanks again guys for all your help. We chose Mannington Adura this is what they call LVT, luxury vinyl tile, we chose this product for its high quality and very real look to wood, with 4 kids and 3 animals I wanted something that would wear very well and was water resistant. After looking for flooring at the larger tile and floor stores I searched for a local floor business. I read the reviews and when I read them about Kenny's I know that was the kind of business I wanted to deal with. I WAS NOT WRONG! From the moment I walked in the store until the installation was complete I was treated to what professionalism, integrity, and pride are really about. Taylor, Sarah and Kenny are all very knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell me. I REALLY liked that. The installers, Gary, Eddie and Todd were top notch, very professional and took great pride in their work and it shows, our carpet and hardwood flooring looks great. Thanks guys!!! We'd heard great things about Kenny's, so we went to look at engineered floor samples and get an in-home estimate. The owner and staff were friendly and warm. Then, everything changed. We had several questions we submitted to them via email. No reply for 4 days. So, I finally called to see why we hadn't heard anything. We got a terse answer back, only partially answering our questions, and adding that "they'd been extremely busy" and "if this was so urgent we should have called and said so". ?? They made us feel more like an intrusion rather than a valued customer. We ended up choosing another family-owned flooring company, Ken Pearson Floor Company in Crystal Lake (http://www.kenpearsonfloorcompany.com/contact_kpfc.html). Fantastic work! Super! I'd hire them again in a NY minute. Back to Kenny's Floor Company: the owner emailed to ask why we went with someone else, and I explained. This generated a flurry of emails from him, 4 in 4 hours! All were combative/defensive/angry, and each new email was stranger than the last. (He was answering things I'd never even asked. One email even contained some old newspaper clipping written by some unknown guy explaining that a flooring store should never let customers take home flooring samples - they'll lose the sale). There is something really 'off' with the owner Kenny's Floor Co. If he contacts me again, I'm calling the cops to file harassment charges. And I certainly do NOT want him, or his crew inside my home. His crazy ramblings scare me. read more

Very odd review from CW. Almost like we were at different stores speaking with different people. I can say Kenny replied to emails from me in a timely fashion. Everyone I spoke to there was great. I am currently in process of deciding what I am going to do in terms of flooring. I visited once with my daughter and dealt with Kenny himself. Great guy, no pressure and received samples. I went back with my wife and dealt with a family member. Another fine experience. Received more samples. Spoke with one of my family members only to find out that they used Kenny and were satisfied with their product and service. This is what I have been looking for. A local family owned business. Once my wife and I hammer out a decision between us we will be back and will be customers. read more
