Louie scowled his disapproval and suggested another idea with better aesthetics: With expert workmanship, he and his partner created a clean line between the two surfaces (no transition piece). Beautiful! My idea: circa 1980. Louie's solution: Timeless, classic, elegant. Louie could have stuck with the plan. He gave us something way better.
