Then the clerk made the strangest comment... apparently there is a kiosk where you can print receipt if you lose it, and the clerk said I could go there next time if I couldn't find my receipt. Call me crazy, but if there's a customer-use kiosk that can print receipts by looking up my info, shouldn't that same functionality be available at the register where returns are processed? Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I've never had a problem like this at the Depot.

I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

They have their own experienced crew and do not use sub contractors. I was shocked by how much work their installers accomplished in just one day! All we needed to do was remove books and lamps and items from the closet floors. The two guys did all the rest of the furniture moving. Anyone who has bought wall to wall carpeting can tell you that the cost is one thing but the installation is everything! All of our seams are invisible and the stairway has complicated wrap-around steps and posts at the bottom that looks like the carpet has just grown around the posts! Also, I provided a handful of screws and they fixed a squeaky spot in our bedroom floor, after 30 years of suffering!
