I literally just went to their website and checked the rates. I'm not new to storage, I've had a large unit in Tacoma for over a decade, I know rates go up, I know about move in specials, I know rates periodically go up. She said the "website price is to lure new customers and they will get a rate increase to match what I'm paying in six months." There were also live ants all over the floor. It was truly disgusting and with all the mouse feces it made most of the items in the unit unusable and basically trash. I don't know how long this unit has been sitting but almost every piece was covered in dozens of mouse feces and several items had been chewed through. There was no food in the unit whatsoever so nothing to draw the rodents and insects inside, I'm just guessing this is their standard conditions. I spoke with my property manager who said my rate was the highest they have ever seen and did not know why it was so expensive, but offered to request a lower rate, which was denied within 2 hours. This company will not get a dime from me once I purchase a box (approximately $4000) (get it delivered approximately $2000) and unload the public storage unit, and save the $3000 i would pay over the next 12 months. !this is unbelievable but true.
