Hmm, I came here because of the positive reviews and interesting flavors. The shop is a hole in the wall with limited seating inside, but lets talk about the drinks first. I did like the idea of the flavors and coconut latte and such, so I got a coconut latte and it was tasting pretty good, but it did make my stomach upset. Not sure if it was coconut milk, or expired milk or something, and it was quite small for its price. The shop had no AC and it was quite hot on the inside. I did like how you can just order via the kiosk. Service was fast and nice. But yeah just dropping stars because of the coffee, I wouldnt come here again, maybe it was a one off. read more

Came here with the bf after brunch on a weekend. The previous time I came, it was too early for the boba to be ready, so I didn't get anything. Thankfully, the boba was ready this time! The shop is located in a small shopping center, next to a thai restaurant that I frequently go to, so I've seen this shop many, many times. It's small and while there is enough room for people to hang out after grabbing their drinks, there's not as much space as some other shops to spread out and have conversations. It's mainly enough space for people to wait for their drinks, grab it and go. We ordered at the kiosk, asked the barista a question about the drink I wanted and then made our purchase. Our drinks came out - I got the black sugar boba milk latte while my bf got the velvet oat espresso - we sat for a bit and tried our drinks before heading back home. Bf said the coffee was good, but on the pricey side for what it was. I enjoyed my milk latte, but the boba was not worth it - it didn't have the chewy consistency I like and was on the softer side and it was pretty flavorless. I've also tried the mango thai coconut latte in the past as I like both mangoes and coconuts - it was also just okay and I wasn't really impressed. Ordering was through the kiosk - there was 1 employee (probably the owner or manager) working, he seemed a bit awkward and flustered, but he was accommodating, which I appreciated. I originally wanted some sort of jasmine or green milk tea, but they did not have any options for this. I narrowed it down to 2 drinks that intrigued me - I was torn between the Organic Milk Boba Tea or Mango Thai Coconut Latte and I ended up getting the latter. I wanted to replace the lychee jelly that comes with the drink with boba instead, which the employee agreed to, but he still put the lychee jelly on top of the boba, which was not a huge deal, since I got my boba anyway. I felt like the mango flavor was strong with a good sweetness to it, while the coconut flavor was not that strong, which I did not mind, as I am not too big on coconut anyway. About $8.50 - they have a small operating fee factored in as well. Also, they have cute cups that the drink came in, which I wanted to reuse after I was done with my drink, but unfortunately, the cap / lid ended up cracking. Yum! Cute little boba shop in the Willow Glen area. Parking is easy with a huge lot which is a big plus. Customer service was friendly, kiosks to place your own order which is kind of nice. We got the brown sugar latte bobas which were good (the boba is fresh and super soft!!). They come in really nice takeout cups, but the size was smaller than I expected (maybe just used to other larger sizes at other boba shops). Tasty! I would rate this as a 3.5 star, but bumped up to 4 for really some wonderful and pleasant service. As you walk inside, the decor is really simple and clean. The espresso machine looks really professional, and I love the live edge bar tables and stools they have, enough seating for 6 along the window. I was more in the mood for boba than coffee, so I ordered the black sugar boba milk latte and also the mango thai coconut latte. The black sugar boba milk with whole milk was delicious, the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. The boba texture was a little softer than I prefer (I like it slightly chewier), but seemed fresh. I came home and stuck the drink in the fridge for a few hours, and the boba firmed up more to my liking. The mango thai coconut latte was also pretty good, especially if you like thick drinks with lots of QQ (texture, in this case). I think I would have liked it a little bit thinner, so I added some milk at home which I then felt the ratio of mango and lychee jelly to liquid was better. I still had a lot of jelly by the time I finished my drink. What I appreciated most was that the barista was really nice. He was serving some customers ahead of us, who were still deciding their drinks, as were we. But he offered us to use the kiosk in the corner of the store, which allowed us time to look through the menu. And just after we submitted our order, you could hear a "ding!", and the barista, while he was busy making other drinks, said "thank you!" out loud. I felt that was a nice touch that we were being acknowledged. I'd love to come back and try their coffee, and I appreciate they're open early, not only for the coffee crowd, but the boba crowd as well. read more

I was looking forward to supporting a local business, but sadly, but experience at T-Square coffee was good but not quite great. They are a small cafe tucked into the corner of the Walgreens plaza, and are located next to the Thai Spice restaurant. At the time I went, they still had butcher paper covering the main door- I hope they remove that soon, since it was difficult to tell if they were open or not. You can order through Snackpass, through their QR code (displayed on the standing sign right outside their door), or on the kiosk inside. Their menu of drinks isn't extensive, and they offer around 11 options, including different types of coffees as well as a couple of boba milk teas; however, I thought the drinks were priced on the higher side for the size of drink. Oat milk is the only plant based milk alternative offered, and it was an extra $1 for this option. It wasn't busy the day I went, and I was in and out in 5 minutes or less. I tried their Caffe Latte ($5.95 + $1 Oat Milk, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=RUOAB_YXG_1vdWu50ZmxDw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was very smooth; however, there wasn't much coffee flavor, and what coffee I could taste left a slightly bitter aftertaste. As a plus, you can grab a square of Ghirardelli chocolate to go with your order! I would come back to try their black sugar boba milk latte if in the area. I hope I came on an off day, and I'm sure the consistency of their drinks will continue to improve. There were only a few chairs available for indoor seating (this isn't a cafe you can hang out at/do work from), and they had hand sanitizer. I ordered through the electronic kiosk, which was very convenient. Once the order was processed, the barista came out from the back to make my drink. The beverage menu was fairly large, but featured a lot of boba and specialty drinks, with less coffee options. Since they didn't have cold brew, I chose the Iced Velvet Oat Espresso. For food, they only had sweet pastry options - nothing savory. Service was quick, with zero social interaction required. I did enjoy the Iced Velvet Oat Espresso, but can't say it was super memorable. I did like the smooth texture of the drink though. Overall, good but not amazing! read more
