Nothing good to say. Once they have your business they do nothing to keep it. They don't back the products they sell and all the blame is placed on the consumer. Bought tires here and one of the tires had a defect. They said there is nothing they can do about it. They also said that they told us that since it was "their cheapest tire" there was no warranty. They didn't tell me that, they must have said it in their head and was expecting me to read their minds. Things you should know: all passenger tires have warranties. These guys just don't want to go through the trouble of replacing it and having to deal with the manufacturer. First set of tires I bought here lasted less than 25k with 50k warranty (they did not warranty/replace just up sold to this new set). Bought a new set and those lasted less than 27k. I was sent there twice by the Owner of Firstcar used car dealership where a family member purchased a used vehicle from. The first time was to have the low tire pressure sensors replaced and the second time was to have the front tires replaced because they both had screws located in an area that could not be patched. I was not given an invoice for the censors and when I brought the vehicle back to replace the front tires they patched the front and rear passenger tires and didn't even look at the front driver side tire. The employees were rude on both occasions and when I asked for copies of the work invoices I was told that because the work was being paid for by the used car dealership owner they didn't have to provide me with one. A week later I had to have the vehicle towed to an automotive repair shop because the radiator overheated due to a bad censor and needed to be replaced. The autopsies repair shop who replaced the radiator and informed me that additional repairs were needed to make the car safe to drive. The owner of the used car dealership had Pacific Tire and Wheel do the repairs and I was given a hand written invoice claiming that the necessary repairs were done but I was not given anything saying that the repairs came with a warranty and I can't find anything online stating that Pacific Wheel and tire is an SAC certified repair shop. They are not accredited by the BBB. The employees were rude to me on both occasions that I took the vehicle to them. The vehicle still vibrates at 50 mph and the vibration increases when driving on the freeways to keep up with the flow of traffic. read more

This used to be my go to place back in late 2000, early 2010's, but the employees here have changed and so has their commitment to great customer service. It's all about money for them now. Today, I bought a used tire for my vehicle. The used tire I got installed wasn't that much better than the tire I removed. The workers were slow and took almost an hour to change out one tire from start to finish. There were no other vehicles in front of me, either. Bad customer service and bad deals. Me and my family have frequented this location and always had good service till September 3 2021 , I had a nail in my tire and requested my tire be repaired . The associate at the desk wrote up the contract and ask me to have a seat . Within a few minutes I was called that my repair was complete . I figured wow that was fast . I was driving around for a few days and my sensor came on that I had low air pressure . One day I got out of my car and I seen the nail was still in my tire . all I could see was the end the nail had been cut off at the tire level . I asked my husband if that was ok that they had left the nail in my tire . And at that time I wondered if my tire had been repaired at all . My husband told me take it back and ask them . I returned to pacific tire on approx September 7th and spoke to the associate at the desk again . He had assured me they do not do business like that ! I requested my tire be removed in my view and I want to verify my tire had been repaired ! I went to the area and the gentleman removed my tire and took it off the rim . As he walked towards me he was talking to other associates and pointing out the large piece of nail inside my tire !! As he approached me he said I'm sorry ! I spoke to the associate at the counter again and he was apologizing that had happened ! I was furious I drive to Lancaster every week for church and this employee and company endangered my life !!! Due to laziness and carelessness ! The associate who supposedly fixed my tire on September 3rd was standing at my car as I showed receipt for original repair . he then began to call me in so many words a liar !! He stated he fixed a different tire that had no nail or damage !! Which was a bold face lie !!!! The nail had but cut off at the tire level so that shows it was done intentionally!!! My life was put in danger and I will never or have any of my family frequent an establishment that doesn't care about the Customers safety ! I also requested the owner call me so I can inform her of her lazy employee and obviously she didn't care either . she never called or attempted to contact me about this concern ! I've purchased rims , tires and a trailer hitch . there are far to many other establishments that me and my family can frequent !!! We had such a great experience with Pacific Tire and Wheel. We got estimates for new tires for my car from 5 or 6 different tire stores in Bakersfield and went back and bought the tires from Pacific. Why? Manny was fantastic! He listened to what we wanted and gave us three options of tires to choose from. He explained the differences. My car needed new tires and an alignment, so I dropped it off at 8 and picked it up around 530. They let me know that they couldn't get a light off in my engine because their technician leaves at 5, but my car was there since 8? So I didn't understand how this was relevant, since he had at least 8 hours to work on it. They let me know that I can either try to remove the light myself or take it back, so I obviously took it back. They estimated it would be a 15 minute wait, then 30, then 45 and my car was finally ready 2 hours later. I had to take time off from work to get all this done, but they couldn't care less. This place needs to train their front desk girls to give correct quotes for simple repairs. Called to get a flat tire repair, Cynthia told me it was $10, I showed up not even 5min later and apparently there is no Cynthia that works there and the price is now $20. I could tell they were lying when I asked if Cynthia worked there. Been going to this place for years! Time to find a new place. If I could rate zero stars I would. UPDATE-go to Les Schwab! Okay so short and sweet. They did and do good work, but I have to give them 2 stars based on business ethics. They did not honor their price match guarantee. I tried 3 attempts to resolve the issue and was blown off basically and not called back. I showed them a local competitors price which amounted to $300 price difference for the same product and services. They said they couldn't match it....I even offered to meet somewhere in between to which I was told ya we should be able to work something out, yet to be blown off again. I will come back, but only because they earned my business....short story: came in for a tire rotation. ended up needing new tires and an alignment. purchased recommended tires and the alignment and proceeded to go on my trip out of town. the car had a terrible vibration. Turns out i needed a wheel re-balanced (they forgot to balance it). when they went to do this it also turns out one of their techs over torqued the wheels and stripped out the stud. (they actually stripped out two, and possibly more since im afraid to touch the wheels in case there is more). the part where they earned my business is i didn't have anyone telling me it wasn't their fault. the owner simply said he would take care of it, and they did. No fights, no arguments, they simply fixed the problem, apologized, and everything is well. Should a tire/wheel shop know better than to over torque wheels; Yes!! working on every make and model with some new techs occasionally putting wheels back on your car, there will be some mistakes. Pacific tire and wheel has a problem under standing the customer! I've been in there 3 times in the the past 6months! The people they hire are inexperienced and don't care on what u ask them to do ! I've talked to so called management and it still doesn't get done ! I'm a guy that doesn't have problems lifting heavy weights! I had to replace my brakes and had problems removing the lugs ! I went in around noon to pay for the service i had on my car and when i was at home around 4 i was emailed a contract from the company they finance through. I paid so i was confused as to why i received such a contract if I didn't sign anything. Called the finance company as well as the manager. Better watch your six with these guys. Very shady. Took in my 2015 Honda Pilot in for alignment and tire rotation. Got a call from them an hour later telling me my struts and shocks were all leaking and needed to be replaced. The guy quoted me $800 (which is high) and wanted an answer then and there. I knew something was wrong because the vehicle was not even three years old and had only 28,000 miles on it. I don't know everything about cars but I do know enough that the chances of all four struts and shocks going bad within 28,000 miles is about as believable as winning the lottery twice on the same day. Anyhow, smelling BS, I took the vehicle to the Honda dealership. They did a thorough inspection of the entire suspension system and found nothing wrong. The guy at Honda said, "I don't know who you took this to but I've been doing this for 21 years and have never seen struts and shocks all go out at 28,000 miles. They were obviously trying to rip you off." Overall, if you are looking for a reputable shop for your vehicle, you won't find it at Pacific Tire and Wheel. read more

Please do NOT go here. Their so called "technicians" don't even know how to read an alignment sheet and they tried to sell me a service that wasn't the root of the problem. They also hit my rim and the guy working the front said it's "a risk i have to take" when removing wheel locks. I was in need of a flat tire replacement. I wanted an inexpensive solution, so I called Pacific first for an estimate to get two tires replaced with used ones. They were one of the few tire shops that carry used tires in this area. They were able to accommodate me with out an appointment the same day.
