Woodenbridge was our custom cabinet maker as part of a whole house renovation that involved extensive cabinetry - a large kitchen, 3 bathrooms, entry, laundry room, family room, and dry bar. The quality of the cabinets is very high and they look great! We used a pretty wide array of finishes, from glossy and matte Mirlux finishes to Cleaf wood-based panels in multiple varieties. Our project included bi-fold upper cabinets, appliance garages, a printer drawer, a charging drawer for a hair dryer, coffee center with pocket doors, and so on. They turned out great. There were some hiccups along the way that initially caused some frustration - these were limited to a few areas, but we felt the day to day impact of these was hard to just ignore. What really impressed me about owners David and Tammy (and the rest of the Woodenbridge team) was their openness to discuss our concerns in a very constructive and solution-focused manner. There was never any finger pointing or deflection - just a focus on what could be done to get things as right as possible. As a result, virtually all of our concerns were addressed through their willingness to listen, suggest possible resolutions, and implement what we mutually agreed would be the best way forward. This type of positive can-do attitude and sincere desire to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction is really rare these days. They also emphasize their lifetime warranty and willingness to come out and adjust things as things inevitably become misaligned and need tweaking. As a result you feel confidence that you have a long-term partner in keeping your cabinets performing in top shape for the long term. My "advice" in any extensive cabinet project is to take your time, double-check all the details, and over-communicate as needed to make sure everyone is on the same page. There are enough potential gotchas and options that it's best to align often to avoid potential misunderstandings. The bottom-line is that we're very pleased with how the cabinets in our project turned out, have a healthy respect and trust in Woodenbridge as a result of the process we went through together, and would be happy to use them again in a future project. read more

I wanted to see how the cabinets help up before I wrote anything, so this review is long overdue!. Happy to report a year later the cabinets/drawers are in mint condition and holding up incredibly well in our new busy kitchen. We spend pretty much all of our waking hours in the kitchen from cooking, eating, kids homework, watching TV, hosting events, etc, is pretty much all done in here and we LOVE IT! I was not intending to do custom cabinets due to the higher costs, but I'm so glad I did. We felt limited at HomeDepot / Lowes with the KraftMaid/Thomasville semi-custom cabinets. We just couldn't get all our electronic gadgets, sinks, toaster ovens, microwaves in the areas we wanted in the color door trim we desired. For a little more we got exactly what we wanted in the places they needed to be, with the exact dimension's to fit our custom kitchen. The cabinet quality and workmanship is amazing!! David, Robert, and Tammy were awesome! Very communicative and accommodating. Pretty much every positive yelp comment here on their customer service is spot on! They suggested some nice changes that were outside of my original design and we loved them! Just great people to work with and really understood ours needs. There installer David was very skilled, professional and respectful of my home when he set the doors and drawers. Robert finished up the minor details and gave me ;lgreat advice on maintenance including a touch-up kit (paint, caulking, filler color matched to my cabinets, swiss coffee) I opted to install the cabinets/crown/trim myself to lower costs since I'm a DIYer/Woodworker myself and have installed 2 sets of cabinets in my two previous homes. However, I HIGHLY recommended to leave the installation up to the pro's like Woodenbridge since these custom cabinets are not cheap, and they will surely do a better job than even your general contractor. About a year ago, our home sustained water damage from a defective water pipe. Our entire first floor had about 3-4 inches of water and unfortunately, our entire kitchen had to be gutted. This company is first rate from top to bottom. Our contractor (who is also excellent) chose them to manufacture the cabinets for our new kitchen. The owner Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful in design and materials selection. In particular, he guided us on which options were likely to risk repair problems in the future even thought they sounded like a great idea. His employees were first rate. They were all extremely careful and did an excellent job. They took a great deal of pride in their work. I was extremely impressed. Once the cabinets were installed Dave personally inspected the installation and made adjustments and corrections. They stand by their work. A couple of the cabinets were not in accordance with the design plans. Woodenbridge promptly removed the incorrect cabinets and built new ones which were promptly installed. Woodenbridge is wonderful, I can't say enough about how happy we were with them. From the initial design consultation with Dave Baeza we could tell we were in excellent hands. He helped us bring what we already had in mind to life with creative design ideas, features and techniques, and suggested some new things that really improved the utility and attractiveness of our very "compact" (read = tiny) kitchen. From plan signoff to project completion Tammy took great care of us. She always kept us apprised of where we were in the process, what was up next and what if anything we needed to do, and when we had questions she responded right away. When the cabinets showed up we were blown away by the quality -- they made us want to redo existing cabinets that we used to think were pretty nice! The granite fit to a tee, and the seams are invisible, a lot cleaner than other granite work we've had done in the past. The guys that installed the cabinets (Mario) and granite countertops (Pedro) were prompt, professional and skilled. They showed up exactly at the scheduled time, protected surrounding areas nicely, and left the work area cleaner than they found it. They worked very efficiently, and excelled at coming up with great solutions to the little "wrinkles" that come up with projects like this, clearly explaining our options so together we could decide on the best course of action. Woodenbridge is superb and I can't say enough about the team! We are on the last phase of having our custom cabinets installed and are thrilled with the results. We researched so many places via yelp, friends recommendations, etc and the minute I began looking around their website, it caught my eye. My guy and I wanted a modern Italian, sleek look with push-in cabinet doors (no handles), lots of storage and a two person desk. Sounds impossible, right? Nope! We got it! Exactly the way we wanted and it's beautiful. Tammy, David and Robert assisted us through the entire process, however when I met their installation crew, I fell in love with them, too! One evening after working all day, one of the guys said that they'd stay there all night if they needed--of course they didn't need to, but what employee says that? Only a happy one. Woodenbridge is as good as it gets. We wanted to double the size of our cabinets and David came in and went over our plan, and then improved it. He gave us excellent ideas and the project turned out great. First thing he had to do was match the color of the existing cabinets. He did that perfectly. Second he had to match our existing granite countertop which was discontinued years ago. He found an exact match and you would think they all of our counters were installed at the same time. Added some glass fronts to the new cabinets and interior lighting and they look incredible. Then they matched the existing hardware which was no easy task. We used Wooden Bridge when we did a total remodel of our house back in 2005/2006. We did the kitchen, complete with an island and all I can say is there were some hickups but the job got done and things that needed correcting were corrected FAST, sometime with in an hour. We get nothing but raves about how nice it looks. We also had some family room floor to ceiling cabinets made at the same time and they turned out perfect. In addition we had cabinets made for my wifes sewing room, again very well made. I was very disappointed with David's attitude. He was in a hurry to get me off the phone in order to talk to a designer that had an appointment after mine. He was late calling me for my phone appointment and cut me off early to talk to someone else. He recommended a contractor that came out to my house . He was very rude as well. I asked David to see if he could help me get the cost down a little and when he sent me my second estimate it was a few thousand dollars higher. My experience with Woodenbridge should be broken up into two parts. Part 1-Consultation and Design work: 5 stars. We came in with an initial design done on an IPad app and David helped us to turn it into a gorgeous kitchen. He had great input on the best layout, cabinet setup, and all other small details that add up to a great final product. He was prompt with an estimate and provided final drawings as expected. Part 2-Installation: 2.5-3 stars. This is where things got...unfortunate. We were purchasing custom walnut countertops and had to order immediately due to 6 week lead time. As soon as I signed the final Woodenbridge drawings, my contractor ordered the counters per exact dimensions. In the meantime, David re-measured after demo of original kitchen and sized up some of the cabinets without notifying us. So, when the countertops arrived, they were too short. This led to about a 2 week delay in the project while Woodenbridge modified one of the cabinets and some of the countertops. The installation was sloppy so his guys had to come out multiple times to fix things, and it was very difficult to work with Tammy to coordinate this. There were some significant installation flubs that were quite obvious, yet we still had to follow up repeatedly to point them out and get them resolved. It was just overall very difficult to get someone on the phone/to respond to an email, which is poor customer service in the middle of a big job. Bottom line: The cabinets do look great and everything was finally resolved after a lot of frustration and unanswered emails. Did I mention that we have two kids under 2 and were living in 2/3 of our house for 3 months with no kitchen? Yeah. read more

After researching many cabinet companies (about 17) my husband and I decided to have Woodenbridge create our new kitchen for us. Our last cabinet experience (for our two bathrooms) was terrible and mismanaged so our criteria for cabinet making was extremely high. There are several practices that put Woodenbridge on our list. 1. The cost of the cabinets are comparable to what you would spend at stores like Home Depot or Lowes....only they build ALL WOOD cabinets! 2. They custom build for all types of spaces. We have a smaller home that had a difficult galley kitchen to design. We were told by many vendors that our house was too small of a project for them to do. (I don't think $20,000.00 in cabinets is considered a SMALL job- do you?) David (the owner) was able to follow my mental concept and translate it to a wonderful working space. 3. Woodenbridge utilizes technologies that set them apart from everyone else. They have a CAD system that takes the final drawing and can turn it into an exact model of the cabinet. I was actually able to view and make changes of the kitchen design on my computer at home while discussing the project with David on the phone! Time and gas savings! 4. Woodenbridge does custom stains. I had them match a sample of another piece of furniture in my home to get the color just right. Most cabinet makers make cabinets but don't apply the paint or the stain. You have to find an outside source for that. Not only do they do it all for you but they keep your color on record so if by chance something happens to the cabinet (water stains, chipped doors, whatever) they can match it down the road! 5. Woodenbridge only uses top notch hardware and cabinet doors. Some companies we interviewed didn't want to use the "soft close" hardware because it was more expensive for them. My cabinets are easy to use and I never have to listen to any banging of cheap doors! 6. Woodenbridge is professional from start to finish. Contracts are easy to understand and are clear and concise. Products are completed and installed on time. All finishing details are taken care of in a timely manner. There are many companies that do not provide the kind of full service Woodenbridge provides. The owners, David and Tammy are great to work with. Designing and remodeling your home is an extremely stressful endeavor. After moving to our current home, one thing on top of our remodeling list is to reface the kitchen cabinets as they were worn out and in a very dark color. I did quite a bit research and talked to several cabinet makers and Kitchen & Bath remodeling contractors before hiring Woodenbridge cabinets for the job. Not only was their estimate very reasonable, but David (the owner) also came by and suggested there's no need to reface the cabinets instead they could re-paint the cabinet doors and frames in a color we'd like. We also decided to hire them to make two built-in cabinets for our dining room. We're so glad that we hired Woodenbridge to do the job since repainting kitchen cabinets is such a labor intensive job and also requires great patience and skills, not mentioning that they had to take extra care to protect our newly installed hardwood floor (in black) very carefully so no white paint (the new color of the cabinets) would leave on the floor! As you can see from the before and after photos, the results are just stunning! Here, we would like to thank David and Tammy for running such a great business. I contracted Woodenbridge to design a kitchen remodel and after the final installment, I could not be happier. My kitchen was original from 1978 and it was in "bad need" of a major facelift. David came by to take initial measurements and we discussed my needs. A week later I went to his office to discuss his proposal. He was able to show me the proposed design virtually on a large screen display. We discussed a few tweaks and then we were off to the races. Normally, all one can really expect from such a project is that it will be on time, on budget, and executed with the upmost craftsmanship. However, David provided an additional dimension of being a trusted partner that insured the kitchen project achieved my objectives, irrespective of whether an issue at hand was his, or a contractor I hired to do additional work related to the kitchen. Never once, did he try to increase the cost of the project through needless up-charges or present me with charges for items that I did not expect. I had complete trust in David, and I could call him at any time to discuss some aspect of the project. About 4 years ago we had Woodenbridge replace our kitchen cabinets and countertops. We loved the fact that they would do the cabinets AND the granite. It was nice not having to hire two different companies to do the work. David, Tammy and the installers were very professional. Our kitchen came out beautiful. Three weeks ago we moved to a new home. It was sad to leave my beautiful kitchen. As soon as we were in escrow we had David out to design the kitchen in the new home. I am looking forward to having a beautiful kitchen again. Had a great experience working with David and Tammy on our kitchen remodel last year. We wanted to replace our 20 year old, refaced peninsula and sink counter base cabinets, yet still match our existing old custom wall cabinets. David took our drawings and specs, met with us to go over our desires, and quickly made 3d CAD renditions to show us. He produced custom cabinets that perfectly matched the existing door style and finish, at a cost that was comparable to Home Depots semi-custom cabinets. The maple plywood cases and solid maple wood doors and drawer fronts were of excellent quality and finish. Since they were custom, the cabinets perfectly fit our kitchen without the need for fillers and we got all the bells and whistles (Blum soft close, pull out tray divider drawer). Woodenbridge also did an excellent job fabricating and installing our new quartzite countertop, about 40 linear feet total, with e-granite sink. They came out, measured and made templates, and worked with us to find the best way to cut the stone slabs. We are really enjoying our new kitchen. Thank you Woodenbridge! read more

Dave and Tammy were wonderful to work with. They finished on time and within budget. Their lead in-house contractor, Denny, was excellent. He always went above and beyond in getting the job done. Dave, their cabinet installer, was very open to change orders and always completed them on the spot.
