As I, a woman, sat in the waiting area I could hear the manager, Mike Hendrix, and another woman who worked there complaining about a customer and calling her a b***h. From what I could gather the customer just wanted proof that the service she paid for had been done. That aside, after three visits and $2000 later my car still made noise and the check engine light was still on. Mike tried to tell me the noise was probably there all along and I just hadn't noticed. It was not there before they worked on my car the first time. I went somewhere else and they fixed it, no problem, for a quarter of that price. Will not be back. read more

The "salesman" was very rude and unprofessional when I inquired about him allowing my mother (the one we were car shopping for) and I to test drive a used CR-V with 80,000 miles on it alone, instead of having him sitting in the back seat the whole time. I casually mentioned that the Ford dealership across the street allowed us to test drive a new car alone and his response was "well Fords' not here". I understand that it may be policy, however his response was very unprofessional and rude. I immediately handed the keys back to him and we left. We will be looking elsewhere for her next car. read more

Everyone did well - I was buying an expensive car so they did everything they could to be polite and courteous. The sales experience was fine, but I think the prep and delivery process could be better if the dealership had more corvette experience. By delivery process, I mean prepping the vehicle, etc. Some parts were left off and typically for corvettes (especially Z06), buyers get the PDI form in their paperwork. Overall very happy with the sales process. I had to haggle a bit - my initial offer was countered and then my initial was accepted after a few more minutes. I made a strong and fair offer so it would have been nice to get the "yes" first but I suppose that's part of the business. read more

Our salesman, Charles Stokes, was amazing. He took on the task of finding me the perfect Traverse to surprise my fiance on our wedding day. Not only did he find it but he worked with me for 3 weeks as we went through many different Traverses and lease options. After everything was agreed on he then let me take the Traverse the day of my wedding to the sight and surprise her with it. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I was looking for and for the price I was looking for. He did everything I asked him to do and much more. Terrible service!! They left oil and grease on the seat and door frame. They also installed an accessory that partially worked. Kerry told me I would have to contact Chevorlet to figure out why it wouldn't work. Chevorlet referred me to a different dealership who corrected Kerry's mistake at no charge. Kerry also denied a warranty claim. The other dealership repaired it at no cost stating it's a common repair. I am happy we experienced the way Kerry treats its customers before purchasing our next new car. We will never make the mistake of using Kerry again. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a dealership / service department in my life. Customer care and honesty are things they are obviously unfamiliar with. Every known possible issue with the 2012 Cruze has happened to mine(at least once) and they have stopped assisting even though I purchased the extended warranty and have followed every instruction given at the time of purchase. Please do not let your elderly family acquire a car thru Kerry Chevrolet. They will take advantage of them. My father signed a 39 month lease at the age of 77 years old with advanced Parkinson's Disease. There was no advantage or price break had he signed a 18 month lease vs the 39 month lease. He had the understanding he would be able to "return" the car if he was unable to drive or would pass away without a penalty. That is not the case. We have documentation from his MD stating he is no longer allowed to drive. If he terminates his lease he will have to pay almost $8000.00 for the rest of the lease. We had items added to our vehicle during purchase. Poor quality of workmanship from one vendor and poor Quality Assurance from the dealer prior to release to us. The passenger rear door inside the vehicle was damaged. Brand new 2017 Malibu. Then it was 'fixed' on a second visit to the Dealership with perhaps a new quarter panel from a unit on the lot but again poor quality of workmanship and poor Quality Assurance on product delivery. There is a large gap in the window and door quarter panel and it appears one piece was not installed correctly. We can see it all twisted up inside the door.We have yet another appointment to try to make us whole on a brand new car! The door is still as my wife calls it 'destroyed'! The loaner vehicle is always offered. All this within the first hundred miles! Very disappointed in the total package. Sales was a smooth process. Quality of workmanship and Quality Assurance is missing at this dealership. I would advise to use another dealership. We will for sure!! It took 3 visits to make us whole on the new car package purchase. We were offer no compensation in any form on their poor quality of service. Customer BEWARE! read more

Typical used car sales. Tell you the vehicle has an option just as listed in he sticker and then after delivery you find out it is t there. They say tough luck you should have made the salesman demonstrate to you every item on the sticker to verify. If not the discrepancy is your problem. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN KERRY CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPARMENT! I had a horrible experience in the Kerry Cheverolet Service Department in Alexandria. I took my car in for a simple unjamming of a cup holder door and they broke the arm off of it while there. They refused to fix it at their expense and told me "it's your car, your responsibility". I was not happy with their service and more importantly the treatment I received. I was belitted, more or less called stupid and had the service manager's finger in my face saying "you are just upset that I won't lie down and give you what you want". Scott was the most unprofessional, rude, sarcastic 'manager' I have ever come in contact with. Not to mention on a personal level, I have never been talked to by a man like I was him. When I asked to speak to someone higher he said "this is it, you are looking at him". He said there was no 800 number for GM or the Kerry Automotive Group. He said "if there is a #, good luck finding it". I see out on the internet that they have several very low ratings on service. I only wished I had known that previously. I'm filing this complaint against Kerry Hyunda on behalf of my wife. On Saturday 8/25/18 my wife went to the dealership after seeing an advertisement for a Certified Preowned 2016 Hyundai Elantra listed at $12,997.00 - as she was going through the buying processing, several sales people were giving her numerous diffident options on warranties and maintenance. They changed prices on her several different time. My put down $12,000 cash and she was first told the only extra's would be tax, title & plate fees - which should have made the price out the door around $14,100.00. but instead this 2016 Hyundai Advertised at $12,997.00 ballooned into $21,442.16 with finance changers the total payback price was $22,939.20. My wife and I returned back to the dealership 8/26/18 @ Noon which was the time the dealership opens on Sunday to return the car and cancel the purchase due to the fact Kerry Hyundai/Chevrolet clearly committed false advertisement . The Sales Manager Sunny said they do not have a return policy. Poor, poor customer service. Now ask yourself why did they not want to make this right??? read more

My visit to Kerry Chevrolet Service in Alexandria, Kentucky cost me dearly and people should be warned. My vehicle was still under a factory powertrain warranty when the engine very suddenly lost power and died at the side of the road. While I won't bore you with details it was evident the head gasket was blown. Kerry Chevrolet got hung up on a replacement heater core hose and diagnosed that as the cause of engine failure even though the hose never caused the issue. GM denied the claim based off a diagnosis that three separate Chevrolet service managers said, given the circumstances, was likely NOT the issue. So I am out thousands due to horrendously bad diagnostic capability. Furthermore they took apart my engine without my permission and would not take that off my diagnostic bill even though it was unnecessary (other ways to check for a blown head gasket) and they did not have my permission to do so. In any event, I hope you read this before it's too late. I am transferring my vehicle to a more reputable dealership and will post a follow up to this review upon their diagnosis. read more
