We have done business for years with Kerry and the last few times we have been there have been horrible. I was disrespected by Brian who was rude and raised his voice at me when I asked for his bosses name and phone number. He said he would get his boss for me and then I asked for his bosses name and number again from the cashier which at that time Adrianne butted in and made a snippy comment to me and then mumbled under her breath the whole time walking away from me. John the GM spoke to me in Brian's office where he told me that he would fix the problem. Since I didn't have the time at that moment my husband brought the vehicle back the next day per John's request. They then refused to take care of the problem when he came back. John saying that I said things the day before that I didn't say why they wouldn't do it. They requested my husband to leave the premises and he said he wasn't leaving until the problem was resolved. They said they would call the police so my husband called the police. They had the police to give my husband a trespassing order even though he was there for an appointment. I am very disappointed in Kerry Chevrolet. read more

Service nor finance can seem to find my warranty information and the only help they offer is transfer service from one department to the other. We selected this lot to purchase our son's first vehicle. We seen an ad on the internet and went in for a used car. Our sales associate Mitch was awesome. He was down to earth and not overly aggressive. His manager Sonny countered our offer, bit that is to be expected and he didn't haggle for long. So Kerry Chevrolet in Alexandria charges $110 an hour in labor alone. They give no estimate, which I could have asked for but it was a pretty routine visit, oil change, tire rotation, and new spark plugs. $898 dollars and 4 hours later i get a call to come pick it up. I know relatively what these items/services cost and never imagined the bill to be that much. I'll just watch YouTube and do it myself from now on. I honestly recommend that you do not go there and find a reputable mechanic outside of that dealership. read more

I bought my traverse in January the agreement to me buying it was that they fixed the water leak. They agreed to contact the water doctor and they did this. But since then it has started leaking again and the recommendation was to take it to a body shop. Well they did not do this. So as of may I know have fixed a light bulb, have to replace 2 back tires, and now fix the transmission lines as they are leaking. At first I thought hey I got me a great vehicle with great service now I'm leaning more towards a lemon. But as the used car manager advised the lemon law only qualifies on new vehicles with the same issue 3 times. I was thinking of going and getting 2 more vehicles but after all of this with my vehicle no I will never buy another vehicles or even a soda pop from them. Worst experience ever. I researched smaller SUVs and decided to check out a car at Kerry Hyundai in Alexandria Ky. Car had a good price tag but I still needed it to be a little lower. I absolutely dreaded car shopping but Ethan made it extremely easy and there was NO pressure whatsoever. We checked with a friend who runs a car dealership in another state and he verified we were getting a good deal. Manager said we could take it offsite and get vehicle checked out by outside party etc but we felt good about Ethan and had a positive experience all the way around. They did meet my budgeted price. I brought a new 2017 Malibu in december 2017 from Kerry Chevrolet. I had nothing but trouble from water getting into the trunk to the carpet keep coming loose under the dash on the driver side of the car. I had it back a number of time. Seem like that the water problem might be taken care of? They said that the light above the back window did not have a gasket. On a new car? The carpet, after having in the repair severial times. The last time they said that they was going to replace the carpet. After having the car for a couple of days all they done was put a space made out of form between the carpet and floor board. Still did not fix problem so I took it back. I was told that my 36K mile warranty was out. I told them that I had brought the car with a 50K warranty. They said I only had a 36K. They got me. But they lost at least twelve new car deals from friends of mine and its climbing. Please stay away from any dealership that has the name Kerry. They are one of the worst. Thank you read more

They inexplicably and irresponsibly put summer-only tires on a family sedan (Mazda 6) in an area that regularly sees freezing temperatures and snow. I presume they did this only because the tires were the cheapest they could find. The F&I manager also snuck in a charge for window etching on my sales order and didn't mention anything about it prior to my signing paperwork. Truly sneaky and sketchy! I was in a horrible situation with my last car. I had a very high interest rate and owed way too much on the car. My car was only worth half of what I owed. I was messaging Robert Howard back and forth to see if he could help me. He told me he could. Overall, a dealership with a nice selection and reasonably helpful sales staff. That said, be VERY cautious (as you should at any dealership) about what you sign and agree to. The "Internet sales price" on their website is NOT the sales price you will receive unless you are eligible for all of their targeted incentives (something that isn't very clear from the website). In addition, they finance your vehicle through their dealership and charge an interest rate that is significantly higher than the average even with good credit. Also, like some other dealerships, they will attempt (and in some cases rush you into signing) agreements for extra items to add onto your bill. I was told that "Valuguard" was half off for the month, but when reviewing my contract, they charged me full price. I am overall happy with the vehicle I purchased, but would encourage all buyers to read agreements carefully and question things that don't make sense. read more

A few months ago Hyundai in Alex. KY said I needed front brakes and calipers to the tune of $600.00+. Took it to Konen's. They said calipers were definitely not needed and replaced brakes for 300.00. We had items added to our vehicle during purchase. Poor quality of workmanship from one vendor and poor Quality Assurance from the dealer prior to release to us. The passenger rear door inside the vehicle was damaged. Brand new 2017 Malibu. Then it was 'fixed' on a second visit to the Dealership with perhaps a new quarter panel from a unit on the lot but again poor quality of workmanship and poor Quality Assurance on product delivery. There is a large gap in the window and door quarter panel and it appears one piece was not installed correctly. We can see it all twisted up inside the door. We have yet another appointment to try to make us whole on a brand new car! The door is still as my wife calls it 'destroyed'! The loaner vehicle is always offered. All this within the first hundred miles! Very disappointed in the total package. Sales was a smooth process. Quality of workmanship and Quality Assurance is missing at this dealership. I would advise to use another dealership. We will for sure!! It took 3 visits to make us whole on the new car package purchase. We were offer no compensation in any form on their poor quality of service. Customer BEWARE! read more
