So I wanted to love this jewelry store but have had several bad experiences. First bought hoop diamond earrings less that 6 months one just unlatched and I lost it .. I bought a gold chain then 2 years later the clasp latch went floppy lost it in my friends pool along with the gold bar charm lucky for me we found it . Went back to Kessler they wanted to replace the clasp for free GREAT ! But didn't want the same clasp so I upgraded to a barrel clasp it had a lock so I paid 89$ to put this on less than a month later I'm sitting at my desk today and this thing falls off and my charm falls to the floor .. I'm sure over Kessler and their jewelry! So dissatisfied! I'll take my business elsewhere so I can actually have jewelry that doesn't come apart !! The wife and I were here to have a ring resized. Every time we have been in Kesslers we have been greeted by a smiling face. When you enter they ask if they can get you a drink. Yes, they have water and wine! Near the check out they have the largest glass container of Andes mint candies I have ever seen. We have purchased jewelry at several other retail jewelry locations. We have never had as pleasant of an experience as we have had at Kesslers. They had even called my wife to inform her while sizing her ring that a diamond had broken. Most other retailers would not have that decency. When the time comes for the need to add to the wife's jewelry collection we will definitely be back. Their warranty is one of the best I have seen. Wonderful, long-term service! Their guarantee really is rock-solid. I've had many friends lose the main diamond in their setting, it happens more often than you think. This jeweler is the only one, I know of, that really stands behind their guarantee. They really will replace it, and it really is free. I've had my rings for over 10 years now. I have gone back many times for cleanings and re-setting the diamonds when a prong might be the tiniest bit loose. Every time its no cost. Every time they return it to me just as pretty as the first day I bought it. I've also had friends who have received their rings from other jewelers with some other type of guarantee, but there is a silly requirement that they need to appear in-person, once every 6 months. Who has time for that runaround? Kesslers does not have such fine print, in fact there is no fine print. I don't need to 'check-in' unless I want to. I have no problem paying good money for great service. My wedding bling came from a different location, actually, but this one is now closer to me. I walked in for my yearly sparkling and it was absolutely no problem. I've had cleanings done, repairs because I'm apparently a maniac with my left ring finger - it must get into bar fights when I'm not looking - and quick polishes. You know what's awesome about all of that? I paid nothing at the time of service. Did we pay for it up front? Yep. But the famous warranty actually does cover it. I haven't found the loophole, yet. The staff are always super nice. Always. If you're carting your tot around they'll even tell you to call when you get to the parking lot and they'll bring out your stuff so you don't have to lug the car seat around. My only complaint....it takes a week to get your stuff back, EVERY TIME. But, I know that now, so I can plan accordingly. I love my sparkles. read more

I walked in to have my wedding ring appraised for insurance purposes. I have a ring with a diamond wrap. The diamond wrap was purchased somewhere else. I was told that they would charge me $100 dollars to have it appraised because the wrap part of my ring was purchased somewhere else. I even asked if I could just get the engagement ring which we purchased from Kesslers appraised from them for free then I would take the wrap part to have that appraised by the other store. My fiance went here for my engagement ring. I wanted a specific style that would like require some customization and they were very helpful with that for him. Basically, all he had to do was show them a picture of what I loved and they found a beautiful setting option to work with. Unfortunately, the setting was a wrap and they sautered what would be the wedding band to the engagement ring. After he proposed we took it back in to see if we could remove the wrap/wedding band and instead put the entire diamond setting on the one engagement band. While they were a pleasant and enthusiastic group of people working there, they only took a couple glances at it and staunchly said it could not be done. I was devastated, and this feeling only grew as they started pointing us to other rings to exchange my actual engagement ring with that were similar. We ended up ordering another one that was okay, not nearly as beautiful as the original but for the next 24 hours, it just didn't feel right to be doing that. We cancelled the order for the new ring and decided to see if we could discuss the matter ourselves with a goldsmith at the main Germantown location. Within 5 minutes they let us know it would be no problem to get the entire setting on one band and it would be ready in a week. I think I actually cried! Was very happy to actually be getting what I wanted but equally frustrated that the Greenfield location was so sure that it couldn't be done. A week later we came back to get our ring and it looked great. I immediately wanted to try on some wedding bands with it. The sales girl could not have been less helpful or enthusiastic. I asked if they had any eternity bands I could see, she didn't seem to know what I was talking about and said they didn't have any and walked away. Didn't offer any kind of solutions or alternatives and seemed very uncomfortable. That was the straw that broke the camel's back! Well, I spoke too soon.... we asked how much we could get for the band that was removed and they said it was basically scrap and we could get maybe $5... Not sure how that's even possible considering how much the ring is worth but whatever, we decided to see how much we could get for it elsewhere. Turns out we got $40 for it, as well as a suggestion that we were probably ripped off for the ring itself. Needless to say, we will not be going back for the wedding bands. read more

I had an idea of what I wanted in mind but everything I kept seeing wasn't it, luckily I met Teri Hayes at Kesslers in Greenfield and she helped me find the most perfect diamond band to make my engagement ring stand out! When I saw the match I knew I had to have both bands right away! Unfortunelty a few months later I lost my engagement ring from a differant jeweler, I was devistated. One star only because zero is no an option!!! I recently got engaged and did a lot of shopping around to find a ring that we were both happy with. I liked the Kessler's store and employees initially and we found a ring that we both though looked nice and that was a good price so we decided to buy it. Where things went wrong was that they sold me on their 12-month interest free "financing". I initially didn't even want it but eventually I figured why not take advantage of it even though I could have paid for the ring outright if the financing is interest free then why not use it right? Well after deciding to use that they bring me the paperwork and I find out that the "financing" is nothing more than a credit card with a promotional period of 0 interest for 12 months. I decided to use it anyway (Big mistake) and put half on my regular card and half on this Kessler's card through Wells Fargo so that's what I told them to do. Flash forward to a month later and I'm wondering why I got my new card but no bills yet. After looking into it I find out that they put the entire ring on my regular card and none of it on the new card, so here I sit with a card that can only be used at Kessler's which put a hard inquiry on my credit history to get and is lowering the average age of my credit history. I tried to get them to do something about it but all they could do is refund half to my card and put it on the Kessler's card which sounds fine except that it takes a week to go through and my regular card is due in 4 days so I will be making the payment anyway. Do yourself a favor and if you go with Kesslers do not use their "financing" or be very very careful about how they run it through. Probably safer to just go somewhere else though and stay away from these crooks. read more

My fiancé bought my engagement ring here and when we went in together to get it resized they were so wonderful! Made a big deal about our engagement and were "all about the bride!" I don't crave that kind of attention, but I loved it! The staff were so helpful and When I requested that I get my ring back in a few days they were very accommodating. We went back to look at wedding bands and the one that matched my ring was a bit pricey, so we shopped around and Jarrod and a couple places in the mall. No one compared to Kesslers. We went back to Kesslers and the sales woman helped us find a ring that matched so well and was still with in our price range. I want to start off by saying I love my engagement ring form Kesslers but thats where it ends. I have had horrible experiences (yes plural) with them when it comes to my wedding band. After about four months with my wedding band a diamond falls out, not a bid deal I take it in and they fix it. Now about a month and a half later the same diamond falls out again! They fix it but alas it falls out again. This time the lady says that they will obviously fix it and they will talk to the vendor because the ring must be defective. So this time they tell me they are sending it down to Georgia to have the metal replaced and the same diamonds put it in, should take about 3 Months! (had to sign paperwork and give consent)So I wait the three months, no call to say its in, I wait a few more weeks and give them a call. The lady answers and says yes your ring has been in for 2 months, you can come get it. 1. How come nobody called me and 2. how was it in for two months already when it was supposed to be three months to fix it. So I am pretty mad and still at this point have not ever received an apology from any staff members. Now get this not even 2 weeks of my "basically brand new ring" the diamond falls out! So I call and ask to talk to a manager but there is some new computer system so I call back 3 times in one day and finally get to speak to a manager and she says I can get a new ring for the same value but they threw in a $115 credit. Which is not a lot considering they have had my ring longer than I have at this point and I have wasted a lot of time going back to Kesslers in Greenfield. So we go in and of course the only ring she can find is our defective one (they never discontinued it) in our price range so we end up having to pay an extra $300 but I will receive 2 rings. So the week of the promised delivery date I call on Monday and Wednesday and they say it will be in on Friday since thats the promised date. So I drive myself all the way to Greenfield to pick up my new ring. Guess what its not in, I am visibly upset yet I still receive no apology. They say their vendor is closed for the day and will call me back to let me know a date. Well today is Tuesday August 8th still did not receive a call. I call them and the lady says O yes I still have not heard from the vendor so I don't know a date when it will be in. So here I am on the week of my one year wedding anniversary with no apology, lots of wasted time, only $115 for my troubles, and still no rings. It is not worth the hassle do not go to Kesslers the only reason I am still going to them is because I have to! I also want to say that I worked in the service industry for many years and try to be as forgiving as understanding as possible, but I am losing my patience after a year. read more

My husband purchased my engagement ring from Kesslers last December and we've had great experiences with them since. The ring was a size 7 when it was purchased (standard size per the store) and it was way too big. They weren't able to resize the ring down to the 4.5 that I needed so they had a new one custom made and no cost to us. When we went in to look for wedding bands they were very helpful is showing us all of the different options as I wanted one that didn't match the ring itself. We ended up buying 2 bands because the prices were really good and it looked great together. I ended up coming back a few months before our wedding (we were married August 11) to have one of the bands resized as it felt a little snug when all 3 rings were put on together, at no cost to us. They were able to get it back to me within a week/week and a half and it fits great. They're always really friendly in there and are usually busy so sometimes it takes a bit for someone to help you but that's expected when the store is packed full. I moved to the area many years ago and have had my ring serviced at Kesslers Greenfield location. First of all, the sales associates are not able to find my account. The always say, well there are a couple accounts in your name. Then there is the excuse "we changed systems." Funny how my credit card works every time though. With the current computer systems and technology, accounts can be linked together. This last time, I was told I did not have any service to my ring- funny how I have a file full but what do I know about my ring. So today, on my 23rd wedding anniversary, I did not want to be without my ring. I went to Kessler's to see if my ring arrived since it was due to arrive on 10/12/2018. When I arrived I asked if my ring was in, the sales associate went to the drawer, pulled my ring out of a plastic bag and placed it on a viewing board with a glimmery ring bag and mint. I asked, "Do you not call any more when the ring is in?" The gracious sales associate states, "If we told you the 12th then it would be here on the 12th, we have a guarantee." I picked up my ring, placed in on my finger. She removed the viewing board with the bag and mint. Guess that was for show. I asked Amanda K to clarify the price and the same sales clerk goes behind and restates the amount. What was really unusual was I was not able to view my ring under the microscope to see if it was "my" diamond as in the previous umpteen visits. So much for being employee owned.
