I asked TJC to replace 3 screws on the band of my Movado watch and that my battery was recent. I sent it to them working. Once received, they gave me a huge estimate on repairing it and allowed as how it quit working when they put in their new battery. I did not ask them to replace the battery or do anything other than to replace the 3 screws. Maybe they are legit, but if you wanna try them, be very emphatically specific. I'm giving one star because giving no stars is not possible. DO NOT send your watch in to be repaired. I made the mistake of trusting this company to repair my watch, only to have it returned to me twice, and the watch will not keep time, and when trying to set the time the minute hand seems to get caught on the hour hand and they move as one. I wasted $295.00 on this watch because it has sentimental value. Repairtjc had my watch for months, excuse after excuse as to why it is taking so long to repair it. Waiting for parts, its in quality control for inspection, it was mailed out and it was somehow returned to them, etc. A complete waste of time and money. I sent in my Citizen's Echo drive watch. It stopped running after 12 hours. They replaced the works inside and the Crystal. They also polished the band. I got it back June 25, 2024 and only put it on two or three times. I noticed droplets of moisture under the crystal and I did not immerse it even though it is water resistant. I don't even recall a splash when washing my hands. It never did this in the 9 years I wore it. I sent an email to them, a day ago, but haven't heard back yet. With the repair estimate and work, it should have been like a new watch except for the band. I guess I should have just bought a new one for the price I paid for repairs. I have a Curren watch that local jewelry stores could not repair or one had it sent off to their creditable repairs company. The watch came back without the waterproof protection nor did the repair last long. So, I found RepairTJC affter discovering they are a Curren service provider/repair store and they sent me a postagee free label to send the watch to them. I did and it came back great condition, they even offered to replace the crystal glass and polish it, but I just needed it to work and reattach the gold hour tab that came loose and they did. Even though the battery died after a few weeks, when I contacted them they said send it back free of cahrge because they also send a free return label if anything happens in shipping! AWESOME! And again I returned it and they fixed the battery issues and fixed another tab that came off also! I sent a Citizen solar watch to tjc repair on January of 2023. I was told that it would cost 128.00 to repair my watch. I paid. The watch was returned to me approximately 4 or 5 weeks later. It still did not keep time. I contacted the company and was told to return it to them, I did. I received the watch back the 2nd time on March 10th. The watch, while it seems to keep time this time was returned with the band broken due to the poor prep for mailing. It was returned in a bubble wrap envelope with a small piece of packing material around it. I contacted the company and have not received a response 3 days later.
