Check in from my car was painless (I had already filled out the new client paperwork from their website to make it easier), the staff took all the proper precautions, and the office was clean. The dental hygienist got things done in a timely fashion, and the dentist finished the rest. In and out in a timely fashion, and with very minimal pain. All in all, I will be back. More likely to keep up with my dental hygiene now that I've found a place that puts me at ease and i feel like I can trust.

They put it in writing, showing what they were going to do, how much it would cost, how much insurance would cover and that my co-pay was ZERO. It had my insurance plan at the top. So when they said it was covered, I believed them. IT WAS EVEN SIGNED! Then I got a bill for over $2,000. "Oh, we don't accept Medicaid, just your Medicare." "Yes, your insurance DOES pay for what we did, but we don't accept it, sorry about that!" They said they ran it. They said Aetna said it was a covered service. I disputed the bill with Aetna- yup, I'm on the hook for it, even though Aetna sent me a letter of denial and assured me I would not be billed. Do not trust these people!! I asked PLENTY of questions and was met with assurances all around. I'm on disability and now I have to pay them over $2,000 when I could have just gone somewhere else that really did accept my insurance. This should be illegal.

My visit never happened due to the fact That I did'nt call them back to verify my Insurance when…read morethe operations Manager thought I should have. My appointment was on a Tuesday I called to give my information on Monday at 1:35 and was told the the operations manger cancelled my appointment because my insurance needed to be verified before my appoint. Monday is before Tuesday last I checked I know that The insurance can be verified in minutes. So my questions was when was I suppose to verify "When she wanted me to? I work the same hours that they open and cant jump on the phone when she needs information being I think that my information is private and work in an office environment. When I made this appointment I told them the problem I was having and that it was painful so to cancel and not give me adequate amount of time to call in a day before seems to show a lack of compassion for potential clients. I think that this office needs to give a specific time that you NEED to call back before they cancel your appointment without communicating this to you, if I hadn't called I would have taken off just to get there and the appointment would have been canceled. Waste of my time and loose money. Mind you I took this date off so that I could make the appointment and be on time. If a medical office have this kind of rules I think that they should notify you when you make the appointment. I spoke to this location twice and was never told that they had to verify my insurance more than 24hrs. before the appointment each time I told them I would call them back when I could talk, I think a day before is adequate amount of time to verify insurance if not they may need to check their practices. So to the operations Manager find some compassion and understanding for the working people that can't talk on their personal phones while they are at work as I am assure that many of us can't get on the phone when we want to at work to discuss personal affairs. Don't forget that once upon a time you were where we are at. Compassion and consideration is important when working with the public and it's free. After reading other reviews I can see that there needs to be a shake up at this location. remember what goes around always come back around. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

They never answer their phone or return calls. They make promises for dates and fall short. They avoid responsibility, and are rude on top of that. They are not mindful of your time and are often 30 minutes late. But if you're 5 minutes late, they will not complete the work in your appointment to typical standards in dentistry. I had dental impressions taken for a night guard taken 7 weeks ago and am moving out of state. I advised them of our moving date when I made the appointment and when the impressions were taken, and they said "no problem." I have called several times and left messages with further reminders, and no one answers or returns calls. It's been three weeks of this. Finally today I called from an anonymous number and someone answered to inform me that the guard was not in from the lab and I demanded she call them to follow up, and call me back. I paid for the guard in full 7 weeks ago, and this is completely ridiculous. I've never had this bad of service from any medical provider and will be filing a complaint with my insurance. Don't waste your time or money here for a practice that lacks integrity to properly handle their Care.

Fair warning this review is long, but thorough. I don't think I could heap any higher praise on the staff that I've worked with in the last two days at the Foleck. I called in with a medical emergency situation. Basically, my situation was that I needed to get my teeth fixed as quickly as possible, so I could medically clear, and then start a Covid shelter in place on Sunday so I could go back to the ship. Not a lot of time. I had developed tooth pain while I was working on a ship offshore and Chesapeake Bay. It was to the point where Ibuprofen wasn't working, preventing me from sleeping and, I had to get off the ship. Once I got to shore and to my vehicle, I called them and they brought me right in. This first appointment was with the Hygienist Katelyn and Dr. Hamlin. Katelyn was really polite and understanding of the situation. Very easy to work with and patient. I chose Hamlin because I had seen a video she had done, talking about when you come to Foleck, it's a judgement free zone. I haven't been the best with my teeth, so I found that very comforting. When Dr. Hamlin came in, she was very nice and I could tell she knew her craft. I felt at ease. During the exam they could see that I was going to need a Root Canal. So I left and went to the Endodontist, and out of sheer luck, and the Dr. Becker understanding the emergency of the situation, decided to do my root canal that day, instead the following day. This is on a Tuesday. Come Wednesday morning, I called Foleck and Becky was able to move some things around to get me in for a temporary crown and fillings, again super short notice, but Becky moved the heavens to get me in. So I started with my appointment, this time with Hygienist Nicole. Nicole was also really nice and a joy to converse with. I certainly felt at ease with her. She got me prepped for the crown surgery. Very important note, they use a extra strength topical that numbs you up pretty good. When Hamlin did the numbing shots, I barely felt any sharp pains. So lets roll in to that, Hamlin starts doing the numbing shots and my nerves get the best of me, I reached out my left to hand, looking for a hand to hold. Nicole immediately recognized the gesture and allowed to hold her hand. Mind you this is the second time in today days that I'm the shit poked out of my cheeks. I don't think Nicole realizes how much I needed that and how much it calmed me down. I'm super grateful to her for it. The crown procedure went smooth for the most part, there a couple times Hamlin to do some more numbing, I guess I'm one of the lucky few that am resistant to numbing. You really get to see how skilled Dr. Hamlin is with her craft. She was super patient, anytime I needed to ask a question, she would pull the rubber piece holding my mouth open so I could ask it clearly. Speaking of which, Nicole was really good at understanding what I was trying to say with stuff in my mouth. So in closing, I have a hard time trusting a dentist, probably the trauma of bad visits as a kid. But with Katelyn, Nicole, and Dr. Hamlin, I felt safe and in capable hands. The Foleck Center, Becky, and Dr. Hamlin came through for me in my moment of need. They got me taken care on extremely short notice and time. Plus I'm from out of state and a new patient. I was so thankful I asked Hamlin if I could give her and Nicole a hug! So I most definitely recommend this place, and will definitely will see Hamlin again!!!

I dont know if they've taken on too many patients/lost a surgeon here but the wait has ALWAYS been ridiculous....like an hour to an hour and a half.....for example...you might sit in the waiting area for up to 30 minutes thinking things will move fast as you're called to the back/patient rooms...wrong...you'll be sitting in the back after being checked in by a nurse for 45 minutes up until ALMOST two hours ( this is my experience). I've been left sitting/waiting for so long that I've had to get up and step out to make sure I hadn't entirely been forgotten about, one time I waited well over an hour I'd fallen asleep and the automatic lights in the room went off....fun right? The surgeon himself again...is talented at that he does (i've had exams/surgery here) BUT he comes off very rushed/unenthusiastic, it seems like he's worn out from being overwhelmed but takes away form your one on one experience with him. With my surgery it was fast and seemed to have gone smoothly, we'd discussed potential nerve damage etc etc BUT there were a lot of things left out post OP such as my surgery didnt entirely seem to to as planned as I had additional side effects we hadn't discussed prior and weren't ran by me or my driver after my surgery...I just got home...started to heal and ran into some not so fun surprises..... we're working to see if this is something that is minor or not moving forward which I dont have a problem with, I just dont like having to get home to find out I had more complications or there was an additional medication sent to my pharmacy that I had no heads up about, I ended up dinging out a couple of days later picking up other medications...it was annoying because the extra med was supposed to be taken the day of and after surgery so I started 2-3 days behind because of the break in communication. Thats really it, I think this office simply needs more staff/maybe another surgeon and to take on less patient's and it would be perfectly fine. Would I come back? maybe ...aside from the extremely long wait times/break down of commutation post op I like/liked this place.

I have been terrified of the dentist for some time. Kind of like the car dealership, you have a go-between who talks billing and insurance with you away from the nurse and dentist. It's discrete and comfortable without pressure. My nurse (dental hygienist) was Susan? Or Sandy? God she was an angel. She was so kind to me breaking down and upset and in pain. She made me feel so comfortable talking about stuff and offering anything I might need. My dentist was Dr Taylor who was incredibly knowledgeable and proficient. I got out what needed to come out and I even scheduled an appointment for regular maintenance later this month. I was made comfortable to be there, whether I needed nitrous or a valium, either are available. And they make sure you are physically comfortable with numbing. Mentally comfortable is hard, but true kindness shines through in the folks who work there. I got a kids "reward" (shark plushie) to hold while I had my procedure. When I left I got a "goodie bag" with full instructions on what I had done, extra gauze, and an emergency card. It's a little hinky getting in with the road construction on witchduck road. But soon as your turn on Grayson, by the church, it's there. There's an employee entrance on the witchduck side and another saying Ste 200 on the side, even though the dentist is Ste 100, this is the door you go in.
