I have to say I found a diamond in the rough. Came to Kevin's cut and was not sure what to expect from this place. I went in for a fade and must admit this guy is on point and can make some legit suggestions to give you the best hair cut. It appears as he is the owner and the only staff member there, although there are 2 other barber chairs. He charges $12.00 for the fade. Really that is just awesome and music to my ears as other salons and barbershops are now charging $20-25 minimum. I can easily see myself coming here for years to come. Plenty of parking as its a little shopping center and it may be cash only. Dude has a good attitude and I can hardly see anything going wrong with this place. read more

Tip your barber! He works quick and listens to what you want. If you have a bump in the back of your head like me, he tapers your hair right below it so that it doesn't stick out. But again, tip him well because he is already charging very low compared to all these other barbers. read more

Tip: would go early to avoid lines, because Kevin takes his time, you should go if you're not in a hurry The place is a small little barber shop equipped with nothing but the bare essentials and an old-school 1990's box TV. The place is kept clean and it feels very much like it's owner, calm and quiet. I went here after my girlfriend demanded I shave the mop off my head and I was a little reluctant because well, it kinda grew on me (hehe). I brought in some samples and Kevin gave me his opinion, straight forward and polite. Afterwards, I was surprisingly pleased by the product as I haven't see the sides of my head since I was a small boy. Kevin is a great barber, dedicated to his work as much as he is to his customers. I just got back after getting my hair cut by Kevin and I have to give Mr. K a lot of credit. It's pretty rare to have a person cut hair with so much attention to detail and possess the hands of a fine surgeon. There were several times when I thought the cut was over only to have Kevin grab another hair grooming instrument and further fine tune my haircut! I've been coming to Kevin's a few times now and have switched it up with different barbers in the city but I'm back for good. Kevin has hands down the cleanest fade and he takes his time with each of his cuts. There are times when I have waited almost 2 hours in the morning but fortunately, I now go during off hours around lunch so it's at most a 15 minute wait. Kevin cut my 6 year olds hair in no time and it's probably the best and most affordable hair cut he's ever had. The shop is hidden in a small plaza between a nail shop and a Mexican market. I definitely would have never known it was there without yelp. There was no wait when we got there but while he was cutting my sons hair 3 more people came in, so I figured he stays busy.
