Took my truck in and sent me home. Got a call my handles were replaced, the noise under my truck was fixed by an update. Picked up the truck, no new handles and the noise was still there. Left a vm letting them know the issues weren't fixed and the truck would have to go back, no response. Will never go back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SERVICE. This is the MOST poorly run car service provider I've ever encountered. I brought my car in on 6/9/25 for regular service and some issues with the AC. They inform me it's the alternator and we negotiate for services on 6/12/25. That same day, I tell the service advisor to please order the parts so I can get my car back. I ask when they'll complete the repair and am told if the parts can be overnighted I can get my car back on 6/13/25, but if not, the car will be ready on 6/16/25. I ask for a call on 6/13/25 in order to find out when I'll get my car as I'm arranging carpools with my husband and mother. No one calls me. So on 6/16/25 I try to call to find out when I can pick up my car. I call three times (no one EVER picks up the phone there and I typically have to leave a voice message) and NEVER get a response. That day, no one responds to a single message or text through the website. So on 6/17/25 at 9:30 in the morning I contact the service manager (well, leave a message because, again, you rarely can get a live person on the phone) and leave a detailed message explaining I never got my car back when I was told it would be finished. At 12:45 pm, after still not receiving a response, I call back and am fortunate to get a live person in the service department. This advisor tells me my parts were just ordered THAT MORNING so they haven't even STARTED the repair. I'm pretty livid at this point, and the service manager informs the advisor that I can get a loaner car for my troubles. I ask when my car will be completed, and he states it will be finished by 6/19/25 in the evening. I inform him I'm going out of town on 6/20/25, so I definitely need my car back before then, and he assures me my car will be finished. So on 6/19/25 I call THREE TIMES AGAIN and never get a response. Maybe they're closed for Juneteenth? I don't think so because the receptionist didn't say they were closed when I asked for a service advisor. In any event, it's about to be 6/20/25 and I STILL don't have my car, I don't have any idea when my car will be ready, or even if the parts have come in yet and the repair started. In my opinion, I can't see how this constitutes an acceptable way to treat your customers. I will never go back read more

Another disappointing "appointment." They completely revamped the service area but basically they just put lipstick on a pig. It's all smoke and mirrors. You make an appointment, drop off your car early and it's checked in. Then it sits for 5 hours before anything is done. When I called to get a status after 5 hours, nothing had been done. It felt that had I not called, work wouldn't have been started. Maybe they're a doctor's office too? This place is the epitome of OVER promise and UNDER deliver when it comes to service. I ask again why even have appointments? Then on a Friday of my appointment, at 4:00 they tell me they want me to leave my car for the weekend. Uh, thanks for the notice. I'm at work - rush hour - and now I need a ride home? If they had done some diagnosis in the first 5 hours they could have called me at noon so I could make arrangements. #lackofcommunication The only reason this isn't a one star is because they called Lyft to pick me up from work and take me home. My next visit for Hyundai service at a dealer will be at Jenkins. Looks like they have 3 other Hyundais in Florida so maybe, just maybe we'll have a good one to go to. This morning I took my Elantra in for a service that was Elantras 2017 and 2018 are known for - Coils and Spark Plugs - to go bad. I had previously taken my car there for the same repair. However, this time my car odometer reads 100 miles over the warranty and right of the bat,, Kyle, the service person, told me a Diagonostick Fee would be charged!!! How come a diagnostic fee can be charged and even a repair for a known issue and just a 100 miles over the warranty. The issue happened once before and I was traveling when the issue happened, what am I supposed to do? Interrupt my trip and leave my car, whatever am I? Asked to talk to a manager and for sure, not available and would take 2 hours to be able to talk to her / him. I'm sure if I would be buying the car they would show up right the way! My wife and I decided to buy a second vehicle and went shopping for SUVs near the end of 2021. The extra fun part is that we had to take along our 3 month old son with us. We were lucky that he slept (for the most part) during our car-buying quest. During our shopping, we stopped at Hyundai of Orange Park, Lucas Honda, Jenkins Hyundai, Southside Kia, and Key Hyundai. All of the dealers we shopped at, except for Jenkins, treated us well and were helpful. At the end of 2021, car inventory was terrible, making it a sellers market. All of the dealers we visited, with the exception of Key Hyundai, were marking up their cars thousands of dollars over sticker. While I understand and accept the reasoning for marking up vehicles over retail, we weren't in a hurry to buy an extra vehicle and could afford to be choosy. After driving a few SUVs and receiving pricing on them, we bought a limited Hyundai Tucson at Key because our salesman Josh and his management team was straight up with us. Josh and his manager priced out a Tucson Limited that was arriving at their dealership within a week or so at sticker price (plus the dealership's "Performance Plan"). We made the decision to buy at Key after receiving a price that was $10,000 over retail at Jenkins Hyundai for the *same exact Tucson*. Orange Park's price on a similar Tucson was marked up, but nowhere near Jenkins' price. Once we made our decision to buy from Key, we placed a deposit online and Josh called us after our Tucson arrived. We came by the dealership and Josh and his finance manager had us in and out in no time. This was very appreciated since we were tagging our baby along with us. Josh went the extra mile for my wife and I by dropping our new SUV off at our house, too. He was very friendly and professional with our family. Key isn't the flashiest dealer, but for us, they were honest and won a customer due to their honesty and reasonable pricing. I was transferred around from person to person trying to get scheduled and was ultimately sent to a voicemail. All I needed was one tire replaced and was told they have the tires on hand but I could never get a hold of someone to get me on the schedule. Brought new car in for first year service. Was told 1 to 1 /4 hour. After 2.5 hours waiting and asking where the car was three times I was told still on lift. Then they suddenly got the paperwork from another desk and said just finished. When I questioned that, Trevor I think his name was, he admitted the paper work was put on wrong desk and car had been done for over an hour. He lied to me initially hoping I would buy it. The paper work had huge red stamp expedite customer waiting and no one saw it on the desk? While waiting they had a big issue where someone else's car got paper work mix up and I think they may have done the service to a wrong car. A total cluster mess in that department. I asked to talk to manager and she came out and said she would look into it and call me. She never called even after I left messages. That tells it all. They do not care. Don't use them for service. HIGHWAY ROBBERY , I'd give them 0 stars if I could. $259 service fee for everything and anything! $259 service fee to figure out an issue that they didn't fix it in the first place. $259 to look under the car bc something is rattling when I go over bumps. $259!!! just to LOOK under a car that's already up on the lift??? $815 to diagnose 2 issues, one that wasn't fixed in the first place, an oil change and ac refresh. That's before repair costs. I should have demanded my car back and taken it somewhere else. Horrible customer service, from my service care member. Didn't say since it's already up on the lift they'd have a look and then charge me to fix it. I refused to pay this amount so he took it off the diagnostics list. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had! Amanda, a new salesperson, took care of us from the start. She was not pushy, gave us a chance to see the car we wanted, drive it without a salesperson present, and after we were done, she didn't classically invite us in to "meet the manager." Instead, we were blown away by her honesty and kindness! We didn't intend on buying a car this day, but did it because they made us feel so at home! The manager was so nice to us and also not pushy! They care more about us, the customer, and less about the sale. I was blown away! The bad reviews here are shocking and seem to be about online pricing. If by now you can't read fine print, you may as well buy a car online and just sign the contract... Highly recommend Key! I attempted to have it replaced today with the correct one and was told "even though it was their mistake, Hyundai wouldn't replace it". The sales manager basically told me that he had people come in all the time with stories and he couldn't pay for all the problems. So, I was a liar and I will now have to replace it myself. I called to ask for the Service Specials and I was told to look online because sometimes they are updated and they do t know about it. I did, I scheduled online and was given a quote for $69.99 for oil change and tire rotation and balance. When si dropped my car I was told it was going to be $150 !! And When I showed the initial quote I got on line the person assisting me told me that the prices haven't been updated online. That makes no sense! They no longer had the one we looked at in stock but we were told they had a similar one. $ 1,000.00 for inside protection basically scotch guarded inside tacked onto all vehicles, 590.00 dealer fee and a FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR ADD ON ADDENDUM because we lived further than 60 miles away. Went to have my car looked at, was told my extended warranty would not cover any part of the issue. I paid my $99 "diagnosis" FEE and went to get a second opinion. Not only was my entire cost covered, it was half the price of the dealer. Beware, ask questions and don't stop until you get a reasonable answer from them! Key Hyundai Genesis in Jacksonville is not your ally when it comes to warranty related issues. Also, Genesis "bumper to bumper" 5yr/60k warranty is not as comprehensive as Mercedes or even Ford's coverage. I brought in my 3 year old G80 to have seat switch replaced that fell off while the car is still under warranty. Was told by the service manager that this appeared to be caused by abuse, so I would have to pay $611 to have it repaired. When I explained that the seat switch just fell off and any damage to the bracket was caused by there not being a cover to protect it, I was informed that the switch could only come off by using a tool to pry off. Basically a ludicrous and insulting suggestion that I intentionally vandalized my car. I appealed this warranty claim to Genesis Customer Service, and was told that they couldn't help me since the dealer claimed that it was done through "outside influence". I'm truly shocked that Genesis will not stand behind its products and workmanship. I'm basically through dealing with Key Hyundai Genesis, and will look for another dealer for service while I still own the vehicle. Other than this issue, I was very satisfied with the dealership staff from sales to service. I could only imagine how Key Genesis would advocate for me for anything that wouldn't be covered by warranty. I've had similar issues with both Mercedes and Ford vehicles, and was never questioned. These repairs were promptly taken care of without any accusations. It is clear to me that Mercedes and Ford both stand behind their products while Genesis clearly does not. Am in the market for a replacement vehicle, and I have ruled out anything manufactured by Genesis, Hyundai or Kia. To add further insult, I was sent a 10% off coupon to have the work done at my expense. For $550, I will leave the seat switch cover off as a reminder of this lack of customer service. read more

I also bought extended warranty so that my car would pay longer. I have had to take my car in for several repairs and have to put out of pocket because now my repairs to fall under the warranty. This review is only for the service depart. Had my engine replaced in my 2016 sonata hybrid. At first the service department told me 6500. Than the salesman, who has always been amazing and treated me incredibly, put in a request to Hyundai to see if they would cover it. Which eventually they did. When I got my car back a week later I discovered I have a leaky radiator now..... Also... they provided me a loaner.... Which I brought back on a monday without issues...then they call me Wednesday night saying the loaner has a cracked windshield and it's my problem....how is this my problem?? Bought our first car here in 2006. Bought our last car, ever, there in 2019. The Anti lock Brake and Anti skid lights came on Saturday morning on a car still under warranty. Called immediately to get service. It seems like there are no longer humans answering phones, only an automated system. Left a VM, and continued to call to get through the automated system. Remember, this is a BRAKE issue. Kind of important. No luck. Went on line, earliest available appointment is Oct 2. For a BRAKE ISSUE!!! Decided to try the chat feature, no longer available, only Text Messaging. Got a response. "We're very sorry but that is how busy we are in our shop right now. If it's an emergency we recommend taking it to another Hyundai dealership" We will definitely take it somewhere else. Just not another Hyundai service center!!! read more

Wife took the car in, for an oil change and service (this was part of the warranty). They wanted to sell her a lot of unneeded service, which I understand is how they make money. What i do not understand is why someone refused to fix 2 broken key fobs, claiming that this car was 5 years old and it wasn't covered under warranty. The car is 4 years old. Welp they just ran out of the size I need and they ordered one. I was told it would be a week and true to form it arrived in a week. I received a call and headed back out to make the purchase. I came for an oil change. Right now they have the cheapest price for synthetic oil change around by at least $15. Very nice employees and try to answer any questions you may have. The waiting room is comfy with nice leather chairs and a flat screen tv. I think they had some refreshments as well. Free WiFi! My oil change was done in about 30 mins and then you can get a free car wash if you want/can wait an extra 20-30. The car wash isn't worth it. It looks like they just sprayed some water on my car. I had dirt still on my windows and hatchback. read more
