Tech did a good job changing my older door lock to a new Medeco, although he encountered a couple of glitches.

Contacting them via their website e-mail to set up an appointment wasn't functioning correctly. Calling a leaving a message, they got back to me within 30 minutes. I was able to set up a time and date to rekey my house. The tech called me 15 mins before the scheduled time to inform me he was going to be 15 mins late due to traffic. This a professional courtesy that you don't get a lot of these days from technicians, so i greatly appreciated it. This company saved my day last Saturday. I accidentally locked myself out in the morning. I had wrong set of keys, & I did not have anything with me other than the keys I can't use for my new condo. Got a call after requesting a quote fairly quickly. $95 for residential lockout service (one lock, normal door handle). A tech showed up within 30 minutes. Keymaster L.A. replaced and rekeyed my replacement deadbolt lock. I requested the quotation via Yelp and received the first response from Keymaster L.A. The owner said he will be at my home as soon as 10:PM if it is an urgent. I told him it's okay until the next morning and he showed up at 9:00AM in the morning. I had no idea that lock smith could program remote for the gate!! We moved into a house with swing gate but the previous owner did not leave the remote. I needed a smart key for a 2015 Escape Titanium. Most places wanted over $300, so I tried using Tom's Key at home. It didn't work, so I asked for an estimate on Yelp, and Keymasters was the best price, but also I could tell right from the start that they had respect for their customers. Yelp sent out estimate requests to several locksmiths automatically, and almost every one insisted I call them. Why would I call them if I've already given them all the pertinent info? That shows me they can't (or won't) follow basic requests. Not good! So anyway, Paulo from Keymasters answered my request with a simple estimate with no surprise fees. He was very flexible with scheduling too, which is an excellent business quality. Communication was excellent too. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He was courteous, kind, and he finished up in a few minutes. As I suspected, the Titanium is a little trickier to make a key for, which is probably why the Tom's Key didn't work.
