Gorgeous view, immaculately clean facility and condo, close to everything, quick and attentive management, amazing spot to spend my birthday. We wanted to have a fun, socially-distanced getaway for my birthday and my MIL had not been anywhere since March. Found this place that had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so that we could keep safely separate yet together. Kitchen was perfect as well for staying in, though we did go to Kyllo's on my actual birthday. Picked up seafood from Barnacle Bills, used the electric grill out on the porch and had amazing food, gorgeous sunset views of the beach, daily strolls on the beach, time to relax, read, play dominoes, chat, etc. Will definitely be back.

As a response to the owner after I don't know how long common it is your choice alone who you use to book your hotels so it's therefore your problem when you do not make things clear not only that it's not even standard practice what you are doing! When I booked with a totally different amazing condo in Lincoln City and told her what you guys did she said that was a ludicrous I said I know I've never had a single condo down there do that she agreed that it's completely unprecedented lol I also find it pretty interesting how you always have some snide snarky comeback for every customer who is displeased. It's always the customer that's wrong right it couldn't possibly be you? Lol

We loved this view from our balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay in the "The Whaler's Suite" at The Village condominiums during our recent weekend get away to Depoe Bay. This was our second time staying at this property and both times we have been very impressed! The sunset views from each unit we have stayed in were both amazing! (Last time we stayed in the "Seacliff Loft"). We really enjoyed being able to relax while listening to the calm sound of the ocean at night. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen that allowed us to prepare and store our meals as needed. The property is well maintained with very comfortable, modern and clean condos. The reservation and check-in/check-out process with Keystone was simple and easy. We are already looking forward to our next trip along the beautiful Oregon coast and definitely plan on staying at The Village condos again as we make our way down the coastline!

If you want a wonderful view and location while vacationing at the beach, this is the place to be! Customer service was great and it was very easy to book the condo. My family stayed in The Tides and we loved the accommodations. All the comforts of home and more! The kitchen is well equipped for fixing gourmet meals and the hot tub on the balcony is very inviting and perfect for watching sunsets. Pacific Winds is by far the best place to be while on vacation at the Oregon beach! We will be back! I finally downloaded a couple photos of our stay and wanted to share!

I had to remake a whole entire bed in one of the rooms because it was covered in animal hair so there was no double check or cleanliness check. I don't think in that room. It was totally obvious as soon as I started to rearrange the pillows on the bed I noticed all the dog hair all over and I had to rewash my sheets. They did bring sheets to us later, but still that's not what I wanted to do as soon as I already paid a $30 fee to get us in one hour earlier, which I've never really heard of and if you rent Airbnb from him, mom and Pop, then I don't think that they would've done that either. It's all about money to corporation so if you want to not experience a personal stay, do not stay with Meredith lodging

This was detrimental to our trip given we have many young children under 4 on the trip so a huge benefit was having quick, and immediate access to and from the beach during our stay. They dug their heels in and said no refund or discount would be provided and we could "just drive down the road and find public parking on 4th of July weekend to go to a beach." They are not the ones strapping multiple kids into car seats I guess. And finally for the cherry on top - there are reviews on the property from earlier in the year that mention the stairs under repair and limited beach access. This was well prior to our booking date. They falsely advertise a property, collect your money, refuse refund or discount and tell you to eat it! Classic bait and switch tactics and if you're not careful - you'll be next!!!

Terrible experience, very bad and rude communications. When there were issues with the unit the response was basically that they only managed a couple units in the building and didn't really know much about the unit, etc. They promised someone would be right out to address the issues but nobody came. The next day contacted them again and heard back that they had "reached out" to the maintenance person and were waiting to hear back. Turns out the maintenance person was the husband of the contact to had "reached out". Apparently there communication is just about as bad as A1 Beach Rentals. My advice is to avoid units managed by A1 Beach Rentals. I have now talked to others who have rented from them and had similar, very negative experiences. I hope the owners who place their properties with this group eventually realize what is going on.

It was stated it needed to be a 2 night minimum stay she had some time at the end of July which is when we always go on vacation so I picked 4 nights. After I was not charged the entire amount to secure the rental even though I had been given a reservation confirmation I contacted Karen to ask if it was really rented since only half of what was supposed to come out of my account came out. She related to me she had not yet charged me because she didn't like the amount of nights I chose. The Four nights I chose left one night before I came in open and not being used because the people before me using the rental and when we come in wanting to use the rental would have left a day in between. She then proceeded to ask me to either shorten my once a year anniversary trip or pay her for another night stay. I told her we only had our trip scheduled for 4 nights and I was not willing to shorten my once-a-year vacation trip so that she could rent it for 2 days to somebody else and that I didn't feel I needed to pay an extra $225 for an extra night so that she could get her money for that one night. It was a two-night minimum with no rules about how many nights we were supposed to be staying other than a two-night minimum. Since I refused to pay her an extra night stay so she could recoup that one missing date in July or shorten my trip so she could have someone else stay there for 2 days she canceled my trip. Vbro has already taken half of the original amount that was due in order to secure that condo. She told me it would take vbro up to 14 days to refund me that money so now I have to wait for that money to return to my account so I can use it along with the rest of the money I had set aside in order to secure a different condo. It's completely unbelievably unprofessional to contact a renter and ask them to move their vacation around and possibly pay more money so that you don't lose out on money. It's tacky and disgusting. 4 nights is plenty for someone to be paying $225 a night it's not the renters responsibility to make sure every night in the month is accounted for. If you run a business renting out Condominiums you need to understand that there are going to be some times where you don't have a renter in that spot and it is not other renters responsibility to put money in your pocket for days that are not used. She didn't even offer to work with me offer 50% off the night if I took an extra night nothing. I don't understand how it's a renters responsibility when they are way over the 2 night minimum stay to cover any extra nights here and there that aren't being used up by other people who already reserved their vacations as well.

First off you need to understand that in my opinion this place is more designed for people that want to come and relax and have a peaceful stay. This is not a tourist spot, so there is no night life or things to see unless you drive 10 minutes to Lincoln City. I come here because I have a very stressful job and this place helps me unwind. This place appeals to me because it's quiet are there are not a lot of people around. This place is ideal for those that want to have a private beach and not have a bunch of people around. You practically have your own private beach. If you are looking for more things to do you can just pop into Lincoln City which is not far away. This place is for those that want to relax in peace and quiet. Keep that in mind when coming here.

If having a romantic weekend straight out of 1982 is your dream vacation, book!!! If not, avoid. I do believe each house is decorated/provisioned by the actual owners and not the property management team, as I did see other homes that were incredibly cute. This home, however, could use a massive update. Bathrooms were seriously laughable -- if you're over 5 feet and 90 pounds, good luck with fitting in the tub or shower! Hope you're also a fan of WEAK water pressure -- and the bedding (comforter) in the king room looked like it had been well marked by a dog. Sweet. I will say we had GREAT views from the family room and deck. Saw a TON of whales right from the family room. We kept plenty warm and cozy. I think it was way over priced for getting accommodations so extremely dated. Also, watch out for the rip tide. Watched people get rescued!

We got there early to unload everything and get settled in before family started to arrive for a weekend of football, dining and beach walks. When we arrived, the internet was not working and would not even come up in a wi fi search using the instructions provided from Vacasa. After looking around the house a little we found different instructions for a different network, thought we had solved this only to find that the internet service was down. My wife contacted Vacasa, and they were completely unable to help. I contacted our home internet provider and ultimately was able to get a technician sent out the next day and fix the issue. He stated the internet had been off line for more than 30 days. (Separate Yelp, way to go Spectrum Internet, 5 star service, Tristan, Valerie). Next issue, the hot tub, was low on water by about 16 inches, I was able to find a hose and fill it, but this cooled it down so much it took about 12 hours to heat back up. No hot tub for our family that night. Next issue, gross toilets with a full on layer of mold on the seats. The bottom line, this house was not ready to rent. The ultimate kick in the b**lls, when my wife contacted Vacasa and they basically did nothing. We fixed their internet, filled their hot tub, cleaned their toilets! We should be getting the Yelp service review for what we did. They COULD NOT CARE LESS! Last note, the next guest who stays at this house will likely run out of propane as the tank was nearly empty when we left, the fireplace was barely staying lit. Vacasa failed. And they refuse to make it right on a house that rents for approximately $600 per night! YIKES! Bad service, no response!

Then a few days later, a call to say that the replacement will be overlapping with my check in time. As it is, check in is 4pm, checkout 10am. One would expect that they could handle this without infringing on my paid reservation. Vacasa insisted on involving me every step of the way, as if I was their employee or the one who ordered the furniture. The amount of phone/text/airbnb messages I received was excessive and unnecessary. Attached is just a few of many. On the day I was due to check in, I received an early check in notice at 1:37pm. I arrived at 4:05pm. The Vacasa agent was still inside the unit, with the delivery guys having just finished. Had I checked in early, I would have been interrupted with the delivery. I could have been in the shower, napping, or at the beach with my personal belongings inside the unit. Here's some tips for Vacasa in this situation: arrange a check in for an hour later, and a check out for 2 hours later. Offer a coffee card to a local shop for the inconvenience. Or offer a discount for a future stay. Better yet-store the furniture and install it on your own time. Vacasa has now posted a review about me on Airbnb. I can only see it if I post a review about this stay. Until now, I was avoiding an Airbnb review for the condo owner's sake. As always, I left the condo in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I may need to go forward with an Airbnb review as well.

We booked a stay at an OBV property in Lincoln City during in June of 2023 for our anniversary. In hindsight, they clearly used the "realtor filter" for the photos to advertise this property on their website. While the location of the property is excellent, the home itself, as my wife called it, is "lipstick on a pig". The owners have done some things to improve the home, but really its just window dressing. Between the poorly patched walls and ceilings, the slap dash painting, the falling downs shelves in the master closet, and the poor craftsmanship on the updates, it is clear this house was in poor shape before the remodel, but still has a ways to go. In spite of this, had the house been clean when we arrived, our stay would have been MUCH more agreeable. Right off the bat we could not enter the home because the battery for the keycode panel was dead. We had to call OBV to access the physical key box just to get in. Once inside it was evident that the house had not been cleaned in preparation for our arrival, but was also in need of a deep cleaning. - The bathroom was filthy! Urine and hair around the base, and back of the toilet. Fecal stains on the underside of the toilet seat. There was hair all over the shower. - Both bedrooms had not been changed out. There was a ton of hair on the sheets. A blood stain on the comforter in the master, and some sort of shmutz on the extra comforter in the closet. Thankfully we brought our own pillows, and were able to find clean blankets in the guest room to get us through the night. - The windows, screens, and shades were extremely dusty and dirty, and the slider door track was so dirty the door was difficult to open and close. - There was layer of dust on all the window sills, and dust caked the furnace return vent. When return is located right next to the couch in the living room, its hard to miss. We contacted customer service that evening upon arrival. The OBV rep was very patient, and understanding about our situation, but could not have their cleaning service sent out until the morning. No showers for us after a 5+ hour drive, and an afternoon at the beach. The cleaning service arrived right on time the next morning right at 9am. The housekeeper was extremely friendly, and thorough. Along with clean sheets, she gathered up all the bedding, and later brought us freshly cleaned bedding. Thank you, Winter! The remainder of the week I spent time each day on the phone with their customer service, requesting that our 1st day in the property get comp'd. I explained to them, had the property been a hotel, we would have been offered another room, or had the room comp'd. Finally, on our last day, we received a call from an OBV Manager, Nick Young. I will say, Nick was very understanding, friendly, and willing to help us out with our request to have our first day comp'd. Had this been their response on day one this review would have read a bit differently. The property still needs some help, but the overall experience would been much more positive. I commend Nick, Kate, and Melissa at OBV for their commitment to customer service in the face of a challenging situation.

We tried to make the best of it, but the biggest issue was that there was no hot water. We reported it right away, and someone came out, looked at it, and told us it had been fixed. Unfortunately, it still didn't work. After contacting the rental company again, they were unwilling to offer a meaningful solution. Eventually, another technician came out and informed us that the water heater was actually broken and couldn't be repaired during our stay. At that point, we had no choice but to leave the house and end our vacation two days early. The only positive part of this trip was the time we spent together as a family. It's unfortunate that the condition of the home and the lack of customer service from Oregon Vacation Homes overshadowed what should have been a relaxing vacation. We cannot recommend staying with this company based on our experience.
