We really enjoyed our stay in the "The Whaler's Suite" at The Village condominiums during our recent weekend get away to Depoe Bay. This was our second time staying at this property and both times we have been very impressed! The sunset views from each unit we have stayed in were both amazing! (Last time we stayed in the "Seacliff Loft"). We really enjoyed being able to relax while listening to the calm sound of the ocean at night. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen that allowed us to prepare and store our meals as needed. The property is well maintained with very comfortable, modern and clean condos. The reservation and check-in/check-out process with Keystone was simple and easy. We are already looking forward to our next trip along the beautiful Oregon coast and definitely plan on staying at The Village condos again as we make our way down the coastline! read more

We recently stayed at a condo in the Village at North Pointe in Depoe Bay. The unit itself was nice, well-located, and we generally enjoyed our time there. However, the experience with the property management company left a negative impression. Several basic items commonly found in comparable rentals--such as coffee, adequate soap, napkins, and other simple kitchen or bathroom essentials--were either missing or insufficient. When I reached out with constructive feedback, the responses were dismissive and at times unnecessarily argumentative. I also asked for clarification on their stated "policy" regarding consumables, but no meaningful explanation or documentation was provided. What was most disappointing was not the missing items, but the tone and lack of customer-focused service. In the hospitality industry, professionalism and responsiveness matter. Unfortunately, that was lacking here. While the unit itself was good, we would not choose to book through this management company again. read more

Very disappointing experience! Upon arrival, the bathroom had water throughout the floor and the closet was wet & musty. I cleaned the bathroom before realizing there was a issue, then contacted management after showering. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, we were met with defensiveness and , most troubling, disrespectful and foul language from maintenance. Managements response afterward dismissed our experience rather than taking responsibility. We have rented several times over the years with never a complaint. Unfortunately, both the condo condition and management service were unacceptable. Lincoln City has plenty of nice place that that are not as expensive and that will leave guest with a nice experience, not feeling dismissed and disrespected. read more

We love these condos we've been there twice now and would go back. Very comfortable, clean and has an at home feel away from home. Not cheap but well worth it! Hot tub on the deck as well as a pool and another hot tub on the main floor inside. Compared to other places I have looked at this is good quality for what you pay for. read more

Probably the worst Air BnB experience we have ever had. The property manager Christopher Walson likely has not been to the property he manages. If he had, he would have noted the rancid smell (and no, it was not the Pacific Ocean), the apartment had when we arrived, and the bed had its own disagreeable odor. We had to air out, clean everything, and go to Chester's market for air fresheners and candles to try to make it pleasant. There were only two small bath towels provided, the apartment was furnished with the type of stuff one cleans out of grandma's house when she passes away. The property is creepy, nothing like what one would expect from an over $175/night rental with an additional cleaning fee. When the staff was contacted for check in instructions and to discuss the disturbing odor, they were rude. If you travel to Newport or Depoe Bay, skip this place, this property manager and stay at the Salishin Lodge. It is much nicer. read more

Gorgeous view, immaculately clean facility and condo, close to everything, quick and attentive management, amazing spot to spend my birthday. We wanted to have a fun, socially-distanced getaway for my birthday and my MIL had not been anywhere since March. Found this place that had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so that we could keep safely separate yet together. Kitchen was perfect as well for staying in, though we did go to Kyllo's on my actual birthday. Picked up seafood from Barnacle Bills, used the electric grill out on the porch and had amazing food, gorgeous sunset views of the beach, daily strolls on the beach, time to relax, read, play dominoes, chat, etc. Will definitely be back. read more

As a response to the owner after I don't know how long common it is your choice alone who you use to book your hotels so it's therefore your problem when you do not make things clear not only that it's not even standard practice what you are doing! When I booked with a totally different amazing condo in Lincoln City and told her what you guys did she said that was a ludicrous I said I know I've never had a single condo down there do that she agreed that it's completely unprecedented lol I also find it pretty interesting how you always have some snide snarky comeback for every customer who is displeased. I just completed a stay at the pacific winds property unit #16. Your customer service is terrible. I called the service number 3 days in a row to report our microwave not working properly. On the third day I finally received a call back and was told a maintenance person would be by to take a look. Well they never came. 5 nights without a working microwave when you have a toddler is not acceptable. We will be looking elsewhere for our next vacation rental! read more

We rented condo #10, a one bedroom one bath unit. Great location, better view. Requires walking up one level as the elevator won't get you there (hard to find at first, take elevator to 2nd floor, then walk to north stairs and go up). Living room furnture well used and not that comfortable. King bed was good. My only real complaint was the Jacuzzi tub which is of little use without a drain stopper. If you plan to cook, bring spices, etc., as there are very few here. Kitchen well-equipped otherwise. read more

My Brother, his wife and family stay here almost every year for their vacation. It is located right on the beach. It has an awesome view. We were able to see some whales feeding close to the shore. You could see them blow air and water as they came to the surface and sometimes see a fin. It was pretty cool. The sunsets were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend staying here. read more

The Property location and Rentals are good and I would stay again based on the property; however there are issues with homeless in and when you go to the garbage area to empty trash for your stay, I ran into homeless each and every time which can be a security risk, and unsettling. I had very unsettling arrogant interaction with Keystone staff 5 months post stay basically stating we had left a black stain on a single towel ?? never shared with me or communicated. Go elsewhere many other options that treat paying guest with respect and feel safer. read more

OUTSTANDING place to stay. The cleanliness, the view, the comfort, the incredibly equipped condo were all well above what we expected. The condo is really quiet and comfortable and a great place to relax. The hot tub was very nice to relax in. The only items you need to bring are your own binoculars! Our family had reservations with Keystone to stay at Pacific Winds; my daughter who had recently stayed there had called to inform management a mattress was fairly lumpy and had been so two years prior and wished to call it to her attention. After a couple of rude and curt responses from management, they cancelled the reservations. Interestingly, he said there was no problem with the mattress and they had had a salesperson from the mattress company there last year to see if it needed replacement and told it was in good shape! So perhaps others had complained. My son and family also wanted to go to the beach, so I saw the unit was posted as vacant and made the reservations, which was confirmed but 3 hrs later told unfortunately they were unable to accommodate my family. After 5 phone calls Chris answered and said it was because I was related to my daughter and then hung up. From my profession I know some relationships are obtainable on the internet, but I could only find ours on a paid site. The company does not declare it does background checks prior to making reservations, or how they decide who or why they choose who to check. If you want a wonderful view and location while vacationing at the beach, this is the place to be! Customer service was great and it was very easy to book the condo. My family stayed in The Tides and we loved the accommodations. All the comforts of home and more! The kitchen is well equipped for fixing gourmet meals and the hot tub on the balcony is very inviting and perfect for watching sunsets. I was able to stay in the Snuggle Up (at The Snuggle Inn) in Depoe Bay for 40 days beginning March 24 and leaving April 30. Wow! I cannot say enough about this condo and location. First of all, the condo itself was absolutely perfect. It had a mostly unobstructed view to the ocean and beautiful rock formations of Depoe Bay and I photographed from the deck almost daily. The 2BR/2BA condo was spotless with a perfectly appointed kitchen that included absolutely everything I needed since I cooked almost every day. The dining room had a view to the world, the living room had a gas fireplace that warmed so well I never turned the heat on once. Beautiful master with a view, super comfy kingsize bed (and I am very picky!) with ensuite bath complete with tub and shower. I did not use the guest room or guest bath but they looked pretty spiffy. As well, there was a washer/dryer with laundry items which was a true blessing! It was quiet and peaceful, with lots of sunlight. Because I was there during the "lockdown", there weren't any open stores and only a couple of restaurants did take out and Pirate Coffee (yum!) opened their walk up window, plus Left Coast Coffee delivered their items right to my door (beans or ground), so I wasn't able to take advantage of the wonderful shops on this trip, but having come up to this part of the Oregon coast many times, I knew the stores and this location of condo is just steps away from them all. I've stayed in about 4 other condos (in Lincoln City) and I have to say, this place beat them all hands-down in every way - and it is 15 minutes south to Newport, or 15 minutes north to Lincoln City. Perfect. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

The pictures provided on their web site were a accurate description of the beautiful views from our condo.We even saw whales from the balcony! Was able to stay in Keystone's condo named A Bit of Heaven. This condo is beautiful, immaculate, spacious and decorated very tastefully. We had all the amenities you could possibly want including puzzles, which we also enjoyed. The ocean views were spectacular. We saw whales, a seal and several creatures that looked like porpoise all from the deck and living room. We were hoping to see a storm while we were there and we saw one with waves that were as high as the second floor. What an experience. There are several restaurants conveniently located near the condo. One we really enjoyed was the Rave Waves (in think that's the name). We were within walking distance of several other wonderful points of interest, to many to list. I would and have recommended this coastal getaway to my friends and family. read more

Stunning condo with balcony overlooking the ocean. Sat out on our patio daily to watch whales and at almost any time of the day. Got some great videos! Convenient parking, super-comfortable beds, spotless housekeeping & great kitchen and breakfast bar for eating in. Hope to return another time. Close to both Lincoln City and Newport for restaurants & other activities; however, some of the best seafood and clam chowder is right in Depoe Bay at the Sea Hag! We stayed in the Sunsets and Sandcastles room on the second floor. Wow! Absolutely amazing! They left us a bottle of wine in the fridge, chocolates and gourmet coffee on the counter. This place had it all. As good a view of the ocean as you could hope for, right on the water! The hot tub was amazing. The sleep number beds, as cozy as could be. Full kitchen with everything, and I mean everything. You could make any meal with all the gadgets and utensils this place comes equipt with. Best place I have ever stayed at the beach. OK so I stayed at this condo last week with 3 other people, and the condo was so beautiful! However... the fridge smelled so UNBELIEVABLY bad. Like I'm not even kidding...SO FREAKING DISGUSTING,(we actually went out and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves) like ROTTEN FISH. We couldn't open the fridge door even for a second without the 4 of us gagging, we had to have the windows and doors open the ENTIRE time we were there. So we spent money on groceries that went bad, and ate out the whole time, something we didn't think we'd need to budget for. I called and spoke with Trina, who was going to have someone come out to look at it the next morning. Well they decided not to come out until 2 pm, (after we waited around half the morning for them), and basically told us they knew about the smell but there was nothing they could do about it. Also, the dishwasher was on the fritz and ran for 24 hours straight before someone came out and turned it off. Now washing the dishes by hand is not that big of a deal, but we were on vacation...so that kinda sucked. Chris called us and apologized and let us know that he was going to talk to the owners about what was happening and see about a refund or credit or something. So that was Saturday. Didn't hear from anyone on Sunday, so I called and left a message on Monday. Didn't hear anything back so I called and left a message on Tuesday. Didn't hear anything back so I called and left a message on Wednesday, and an email. Finally Chris called back, they decided to give us les than a 10% refund (we paid almost $600 for 2 nights). He then told me that he had no record of me ever calling, and that basically I was lying to him. He told me I could send him proof of me calling him. I hope the owners of this condo know what kind of staff they have, and how they treat their customers. We will never, ever stay here again. There are literally hundreds of places to stay, we will never use Keystone Vacation Rentals again. read more

We stayed in one of Keystone's condos on the Oregon Coast a little while back. Having lived in various areas of the United States, I was curious to see what Lincoln City, OR would offer, never having stayed there prior. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay, finding the units clean, well-appointed and just as we expected. The beach itself isn't what you might expect if you're coming from Florida or South Carolina or something - but that's a good thing. The Oregon Coast in general offers an incredible topographical experience, with tide pools, whale watching and miles of beautiful beach to explore. And the "Pacific" is anything but. It's an amazing experience to sit on your deck or in the hot tub and watch the power of the ocean only a few yards away. On a practical note, we found the Keystone staff friendly, straight-forward and easy to deal with, and the guy on the phone went out of his way to answer a question we had regarding the pull-out bed after we arrived. And it was really great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We'd definitely like to return someday if we can. read more

My husband and I are very frequent travelers USA and other countries. I would not say we are overly picky because we love a good camp ground as well as a nice hotel. We recently took a trip up the Pacific Northwest in hopes of finding our future home. We stayed in the Keystone Vacation rental at DePoe Bay and loved it! The space was amazing the kitchen very well stocked and lovely, the towels were wonderful, and the convenient location to the Bay was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed in the view of the surrounding rooftops, but it did not block the view of the bay at all. It was just that the roof tops, of course were covered in the dropping of the birds, and not so eye appealing. Also when arriving there was an odor in the condo that was a bit overwhelming. Kind of a body odor smell, but it did go away after being there for a while, but on returning every time I could smell it again. My only suggestion would be new bedding, perhaps even a new mattress, it is a bit saggy. My husband and I found ourselves in the middle quite often. The bedding looks quite old for such a spiffy place. I think the carpet could use a good cleaning too. I hate to say anything bad because I can tell the owners go to great lengths to make this a nice place. Perhaps they have just overlooked these details. read more
