Blinds wouldn't stay open (kept dropping at an angle). Fireplace didn't work. How water took several minutes to get hot. Shower pressure was wimpy. 8:00 am construction right below me woke me up. Noisy room heater non-stop. Couple in the next room was engaged in loud screaming and swearing (mostly the guy). I was on edge waiting for something worse. Lauren was kind and sympathetic with an apology, but I really believe a discount should have been give (I stayed 2 nights), maybe even with a night's credit. Lauren was great with food recomentations however. Overall the property and room were shabby and in need of maintenance and general upkeep. Not the best. I won't stay again.

Older places sometimes feel worn even when they're cleaned, so we didn't think much of it at first. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill from there. We bought steaks to cook the next day and stored them in the refrigerator, but the fridge wasn't cold enough and the meat spoiled overnight. The range hood above the stove was covered in grease and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the kitchen cabinets were sticky. The biggest issue was the bathroom. The shower backed up with sewage that overflowed onto the bathroom floor and leaked into the room. All of the toiletries I had brought from home had to be thrown away. Thankfully, the staff moved us to another room. However, the second room (Cottage #127) was even worse. It had an overwhelming odor that never went away, even after leaving the windows open all day and overnight. The edges of the carpet were lined with dust, pet hair, and who knows what. The carpet had visible stains that appeared to be pet urine, and the blinds had been chewed up. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained. Neither room had a bathroom exhaust fan, so the steam repeatedly set off the smoke alarm while showering. The bathroom light also had a noticeable delay before turning on. Overall, it's clear this property is in need of significant maintenance and updates. For a cheaper price, we could have stayed at a nearby Best Western that offered cleaner accommodations, a pool, and complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we won't be returning and can't recommend staying here.

Public restroom/showers were clean. 2 toilets and 4 showers and 4-5 sinks. The playground serves its purpose. They do supply dog poop bags. Cons: Rabbits everywhere and that means rabbit poop everywhere and dogs are constantly barking. Coaxial at the site doesn't work. WiFi for a dollar a day and it was overpriced for the connection and speed we were getting. Sites are on top of each other. We wanted a specific site. Didn't get it and it stayed unoccupied until our last day. They do not take reservations. At least that's what they told us on the phone. I was also told that 2 weeks was the max stay. Some of the travel trailers looked like they'd been there way longer than that.

(Last time we stayed in the "Seacliff Loft"). We really enjoyed being able to relax while listening to the calm sound of the ocean at night. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen that allowed us to prepare and store our meals as needed. The property is well maintained with very comfortable, modern and clean condos. The reservation and check-in/check-out process with Keystone was simple and easy. We are already looking forward to our next trip along the beautiful Oregon coast and definitely plan on staying at The Village condos again as we make our way down the coastline!

When I reached out with constructive feedback, the responses were dismissive and at times unnecessarily argumentative. I also asked for clarification on their stated "policy" regarding consumables, but no meaningful explanation or documentation was provided. What was most disappointing was not the missing items, but the tone and lack of customer-focused service. In the hospitality industry, professionalism and responsiveness matter. Unfortunately, that was lacking here. While the unit itself was good, we would not choose to book through this management company again.

We had a nice roomy balcony with two chairs for sitting in while soaking in the beauty. The room itself was really large, with a king bed in the main and a queen, I believe, in a separate room. TVs in the main room and the bedroom. The fireplace was gas, gave off nice heat at night as it got chilly outside, and added to the ambiance. This hotel has breakfast! This was also a pleasant experience. They had the usual cereals and yogurts, but also had big waffles and biscuits and gravy! The food was good! We brought a bottle of wine ourselves, but I did notice they sell wine and beer in the lobby, which is nice, right? I definitely would (and will) stay there again the next time we are in the area. I forgot to take pics of the room itself. Sorry about that. You can check out their hotel website to see it. The next time I stay there I will fix this! The lobby is clean and has a modern but welcoming vibe. I LOVED my room. I booked the Nautica suite and it was so lovely. The very large jetted tub overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. The room has a mini-fridge and a microwave. They have a great little sink for filling big water bottles, making tea, etc. no trying to fill the coffee pot in the bathroom sink. The room was also impeccably clean. Rooms that aren't fully cleaned can really put me off about a place. Not here. They seem to have high standards for everything they do here-- and everyone they hire. A gentleman who was from housekeeping even walked me to the elevator when I got turned around as I went to check out. He noticed my hands were full and hit the button for the lobby for me. As I was writing this review, I got a phone call. I had forgotten my favorite lunch box in the fridge! I hadn't gotten terribly far, so I still have time to go back. If you're on the fence, book it. One more neat thing: I got a way better rate booking directly with Starfish Manor. It shocked me, but it bears mentioning. I almost always use Expedia, but while I was looking for more room info on booking, I was delighted to find this. I will 100% be back. I recommend this highly. Surprisingly affordable and so well appointed.

Our room dod have a big jaccuzi tub next to window (that we could barely see out of) not just moisture but actually dirty. A peek-a-boo view of ocean there. Got settled in and ready for movie. TV remote didn't work. hubs had to go downstairs and get new ones. Then upon return and got it on - it was completely ?? unprogrammed! "no channels" screen showing. No way to even see them. No button to see to find? how to reset. After a phone call downstairs they didnt know how to fix it. Said they would see if maintenance was still there at 8pm... Fortunately my man saw there is a little string??? coming from behind tv!! You had to pull it??? to get to the hdmi settings - then figure out which one was correct!! Sheesh. Bed was hard. No body lotion. No kleenix. (what hotel doesnt have kleenix???) Needless to say will never go here again!! It is pictured online like some kind of Salishan Resort. It SO isnt!!! And tho beach is below - really steep LONG long stairway to get up and down. Huge disappointment all the way around. NOT worth the $ and would never have booked if i knew we were getting a brown wall to look at for vacation!

Breakfast is brought to your room. Limited menu of items from granola and berries, Greek yogurt, fruit juice, hard boiled eggs, bagels ( not toasted or warm) and coffee cake. The rooms have a tv, microwave and refrigerator along with a coffee maker. The sound of the waves and the fresh (feels like 32) air relaxes you immediately. We come twice a year on our birthdays March and October and it's usually great weather! Love this place.
