Today 7/23/22 was the first time visiting this location since moving to the area. Drive thru was fast and the staff was pleasant. I got the 4 piece meal and was very disappointed. The drumstick was so small, like the size of a drumette. For the price, it was disappointing. Also it was extremely greasy. I know it's fried chicken but it was soaked in grease. Went in the other night with my wife, last minute dinner choice. Well let me tell you , bad choice. There were not a lot of people there so it was pleasant. The problem was we had to wait for the food at the buffet. It seems like they couldn't keep up with the 12 customers there. We saw 1 employee walk out of the kitchen to refill the napkins, and that was it. It didn't bother her that the floor in the dining area need a serious sweeping. There was paper under most of the tables, and food on the floor as well. Never going back, and will be sending a letter to corporate about this dirty and ungrateful restoraunt. read more

We went there tonight to pick up a quick dinner. They're advertising the extra crispy chicken so we asked if we could do half original and half extra crispy. They said we couldn't have crispy because it "wasn't ready". We were ok withe waiting but they said they just "didn't have it". The Mac and cheese was cold. I don't mean warm, I mean COLD! The chicken tasted as if it had been under the lamp all day and the biscuits were stale. If this is how they conduct business, no wonder everything is going cold... They aren't selling it!! While I like KFC and the lunch staff at this location are nice enough, this location always shows signs of being poorly managed. Two obvious examples I'll cite here are 1) general lack of upkeep in the dining area. Tables aren't wiped timely, litter on the floor, messes around the soda machine. 2) when the store is only half full, all the customer parking spaces near the door are full. This clearly shows that the manager does not direct staff to park in the rear where there is ample available empty parking. If this local store manager was sensitive to customer service, he or she would clearly take actions that would be evident to the customer. This KFC on N. Main St. in Anderson, SC has the BEST customer service and fried chicken ever...and, reasonably priced. CHERRY works as cashier at the drive-thru and has ALWAYS been efficient and courteous. It doesn't matter if the line is backed up, it's 30 degree or 100 degree weather; she always has a kind word and beautiful smile. SHEA, the manager, is just as courteous and efficient. I've had very little problems...well, only a couple, really...and she handles them most professionally and courteously and never gets upset. You know, that is one of the most important things that keep people coming back! There's too many fast-food restaurants that have good food but you won't go back because of the people that work there either being rude, non-caring or just irritating. KFC has one of the best pieces of fried chicken around at a very reasonable price! The fill-up meals are soooo good and only $5.00!
