Sunday around 1pm Worst food ever! We used to go frequently and loved there burgers but today our buns were refrigerator temp cold the patties were shriveled up from being overcooked at some point but weren't even room temperature and the cheese couldn't melt if it wanted to! This was by far the worst meal we've ever eaten there. With the meat being cooked in advance and sitting long enough to be cold I worry about bacteria because these certainly were not up to health department standards for temperature. The fries were the only thing warm so at least that heat lamp was functional. The Whitehall location is always excellent no matter the time of day but Bozeman has been continually spiraling downhill this past 2 years. I'm sorry to report this was likely our last visit to this location. There were two other cars in the drive-thru, both already pulled up by the window, and we waited a full five minutes for the manager to take our order. When we pulled up to the window, we waited another five for her to take our payment as well as give us our drinks, and when she finally did take our payment, she swapped the cards so that my companion and I ended up paying for each other's meals. I always feel like my hometown of Tucson has the worst KFC in the United States. Bozeman has the second worst KFC in the United States. Chicken strips were fine. The bone in chicken was light brown to gray, fried in oil not up to temperature leaving the chicken just soaked in oil, and the non crispy, undercooked, unbrown skin fell off just from being put into the bucket by them (before I even took it of the bucket). Sides of cole slaw and mashed potatoes... drive through forgot forks and sporks or whatever... A and W root beer... cup was barely 3/4 full. So disappointing, I feel like they stole my money. The staff are entirely rude and the food is completely disgusting! If you're looking for anywhere to eat in Bozeman, eat literally anywhere else. The consistency of the chicken was mushy, the fries were soggy and stale, and the staff were impatient and demanding. Came here after a long day on the road on our way to Yellowstone and we arrived 15 minutes before closing. I haven't had KFC in a while, the last time being the KFC in West Yellowstone which was just "decent". Anyway, came here and got 2 buckets of the 10 piece chicken with drumsticks and thighs. Slowest drive thru in town. I ordered, waited 15 minutes, and then finally backed out of it and went inside. NO ONE was at the counter (customer wise) so I told the cashier what I had done, and only had 10 more minutes of my lunchtime left. She had no idea what to do. The woman who took my order, even after I told her what I had ordered outside, said I'd have to wait until my time in line came up on the register before she could fill the order. The cars outside had not moved at all. I suggested that she simply void the order and I'd order inside. "That would mess up my register," she said.. so I simply said "Bye," and left. I doubt if I'll ever go back there again. Too bad because I love the boneless chicken. But it's people such as that who have no idea on proper customer service that end up losing customers. Updated review: Third time's the charm for not wanting to return. They simply cannot get an order correct at the counter, and I haven't seen the same person there twice in any visit. The "children" they hire don't listen to anything you request, and if you don't order your food in the order of their computer, they are totally lost. It took four times to order a 3 piece box. The child behind the counter simply did not listen, tried to hurry me through my order, and continually interrupted me during the order process because I was not requesting things in the order she had to input it into her computer. Every time I go to this KFC, they either forget half of my order or they give me something that isn't even close to it. The wait is too long for my order to be this incorrect. They're offering $13 dollars an hour for people to do the simplest job, I know I've worked at a KFC, and they can't handle it. They also closed the lobby a half an hour early so i had to wait in the drive through line for an extra 10 min just to get the food they forgot to give me. 10/10 recommend going somewhere else for dinner. read more
