Can I give 0 stars please? Just like everyone else's reviews, this is the worst KFC ever. My husband used to manage one years ago and this would never be accepted. Managers used to get nice trips for running great stores. Clearly that's no longer an incentive. Well maybe it should be because the manager of this store never seems to be there, and obviously doesn't care at all. Where's the district manager? If you want fast food through the drive thru I hope you have 1/2 hour minimally to wait just to place your order. Brighton can do much better then this. Every time we go to eat here, we hope that things have improved. They actually get worse. The store is always dirty, tables are never clean, employees are always messing around with each other instead of working. I buy the combo meals and they never have cookies, they're out of this or that. We went Saturday. No cookies with the 3 combo meals we bought, they were out of chicken little buns, didn't have chicken tenders. The employees are rude, your always waiting for more then 10 minutes and then stuff is missing from your order. I've complained to the manager about all of the issues and I see that nothing has been done to correct the problems. We won't be dining at this KFC anytime in the near future read more

This location is probably the most disgusting restaurant I've ever been to, when I dined in one day there were spider webs in all the window sills and every single table was dirty so I ended up cleaning one off myself and that still did not prompt the cashier to check the dining room. We ordered 2 kids meals and a bucket meal. Chicken was ordered Extra Crispy...we got soggy, limp, old grease tasting chicken. The mashed potatoes were powdery. I know they aren't made fresh from boiled potatoes, but they needed a bit more liquid and a bit more whipping. The coleslaw was mostly liquid...not a lot of slaw. I have worked in the fast food industry for 16+yrs and i would never allow this kind of horrible service and lack of pride. I would give it a zero if I could tried them 2x and was very disappointed first time they didn't bother to inform me they where put of chicken so had to wait 20 mins and they forgot part of my meal. Second time tried the fish and chips. Fresh where cold and tasted like they where sitting all day. The fish was so over cooked and dry I threw the meal away. Have a family of 4 so we don't get to eat out very often and when we move to a area where it has 2 of our favorite places in one store and they are so slow and really bad service all the way around. I have to agree with the reviewers here. This particular "restaurant" needs to be closed and re-opened with different ownership and management. I don't know WHERE they find their employees, but they need to stop. On the two times I have stopped in, I have had to wait on chicken. BOTH TIMES. It's not like I was ordering for 20 people. I was ordering lunch for myself - AT LUNCH TIME! You would think that anyone in their right mind would know that customers COME IN AT LUNCH. Additionally, the floor was so slippery with grease I nearly fell - sliding about 2 feet. There was one table left open and I decided to "try" to sit at it. Looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a day or two so I told the young lady to make my order to go (when it was FINALLY ready, nearly 10 minutes later). I understand that KFC has been around a long time but C'Mon! If you aren't going to have food "hot and ready" at lunch - there is absolutely no point in going there. This KFC in Brighton is way better now since they remodeled and hired a new cook the chicken is fresh and fully cooked , not half raw as before. sometimes have to wait a few mins but at least the chicken is fresh I will wait before it would be old sitting all day. So glad its better now! read more

We just went through the drive-thru because we wanted to take dinner home. We ordered two popcorn chicken meals with a macaroni and cheese and the other with mashed potatoes. They told us it would be 6-7 minutes to get the chicken out so we said that was ok. We paid and pulled around to the front doors because they said they would bring it out to us. 7:23 is when we paid and about 7:42 I finally walked inside to three people on break and nobody knowing where our food was. I finally got our food after another 5 minutes of waiting and not one single person tried to hurry. The lady at the counter was very nice and apologized but dang.... that's a slow drive thru! I live 2 miles from this location and I walked into this KFC tonight at 8:30 PM to buy a bucket of original recipe chicken to go. This establishment closes at 10:00 PM tonight and I was informed that they were out of original recipe and could not cook any chicken to fulfill my order because an hour and a half was not enough time to cook it and clean up afterwards. I could better understand this response if I had walked in at 9:45 PM to order a bucket of their mainstream iconic product but an hour and a half before closing? This shows no respect for their customers and is very poor business practices. I instead took my business over to Arby's, a mile south that closes at 9:00 PM, and they were more than happy to make me their mainstream product, roast beef sandwiches, to go. This KFC has ultimately lost me as a local customer (I have also had other problems in the past with this KFC). I may give up on KFC all together as the last KFC I was in was 8 months ago in Commerce City and it was absolutely filthy. KFC please show some respect for your customers and post both sets of hours on your website as well as on your door; The time that the doors close as well as the time after which the menu offerings may be limited due to clean up procedures, as they are obviously dramatically different hours. This KFC didn't want my $30 tonight nor do they want my business in the future so perhaps their customers aren't very important to them. Judging from their 1 star rating I don't know how many more customers they can afford to lose but then that may not be important to them either. After all their business model may only be to cut costs, as appears to be the case by refusing customer orders in favor of using business hours to clean up. If this is the case then going out of business would fulfill their business goal as it would cut their operating costs to zero. I wished I had read the reviews before I stopped here. This is absolutely one of the most disgusting stores I've ever been in. The store had but a handful of customers in it yet virtually all the tables were filthy. I finally found one that looked reasonably clean. The floor needed swept, flies were everywhere. The condiment section was empty, lids for drinks were short in demand too. As for the chicken I could've wrung out the grease and couldn't finish it. Off to the restroom to wash the grease off my hands. It was filthy as well and while they had soap there were no towels. Toilet paper was all over floor. On the outside the back door was standing wide open inviting anything that wanted to walk through or fly in. Save yourself the headache and drive somewhere else. It amazes me this place isn't shut down by the health department. I rate them a zero. read more

I am only giving this place 1 star because I have to otherwise it would be a negative 5! The last 3x we came they were out of chicken, yes that's right Kentucky Fried Chicken was out of chicken. Come to find out by the manager they employees were lying they didn't want to make anything. So 2 months later after finding there's a new staff I made the mistake of coming back. I waited 18 minutes in line before they even took my order and couldn't even back up because there was so many people behind me. Then I waited 20 mins after paying for my food and people were getting out of their vehicles to complain at the window. Everyone that was in the drive thru as customers all ended up parked out front waiting for our food. When they finally brought it out, we were missing our drinks and they left out a few sides. I had to go inside to get my drink after we told the guy and he never came back. When I went inside, no one in line was being helped and I had to get someone's attention to get our drinks. Only ONE guy was working g while some girl in the back was screaming and complaining about something. there were flies everywhere, and the lady waiting to be helped made a comment about how dirty it was. I've been to this place a couple of other times and it was awful. I thought I would give it one last try. Every time they say they are out of chicken, out of tenders, out of pot pies. I ordered a pot pie and the employee told me "they didn't make any today". Ordered chicken and they said it would be 15 minutes so they could make more. Ordered tenders and they said a 15 minute wait. Really??? There was a line of people waiting to order when the employee stated, I'll be with you as soon as I can, then walked away for 10 minutes, leaving everyone to stand there. Worst fast food experience ever. My husband & I were visiting family in Brighton so looked up KFC to treat the family tonight (10/28/14). We almost missed it because it was dark outside & the outside lights were off. Then we found the drive through sign wasn't lit either so we couldn't see a thing. We went inside. There was a young family in front of us & it took forever because there were multiple problems with their order & then the couple was shortchanged by the girl at the register & she had to wait for someone to open her register. To shorten the story here is a list of problems with our order. Kids meals - no regular milk. Finally found some chocolate milk after a lengthy search. The girl kept saying she was stressed & kept confusing our order. She came to us later & apologized - she said she didn't mean to give us a hard time & that she was just really stressed out. They told the people behind us they were out of dark meat in original recipe. Then someone came to us & said they ran out of FLOUR & had to go to the store & buy some so they could make the chicken bites for the kids meals & it would be a while because now they had to cook it. Not kidding. Then they came to us about 20 minutes later & said they were out of mac & cheese for the kids meals. When we finally got our order & got home there were no pails for the kids meals, no gogurts, no napkins or utensils. Altogether it took us an hour to get our fast food. read more

If I could give this Kentucky Fried Chicken location a score lower than one star, I would. We are here in Brighton Colorado for a special family occasion. I suggested Kentucky Fried Chicken this evening because we all know how everyone loves it. We thought it was going to be a quick and easy dinner for our family meal, however this location took our order and warned us it would be 30 minutes. My son and I waited patiently the 30 minutes. We returned to the store to pick up our pre paid order only to find that the disorganized staff had sold our chicken ( two 20 piece dinners) off to other customers who came in after us and ordered smaller dinners. We patiently waited at least another 20 minutes for the staff to put together our dinners. The chicken smelled as if it had been cooked in burned oil. Both buckets of chicken were swimming in a pool of grease at the bottom of the buckets. We received no butter or honey for our biscuits. The lids were not screwed on tight on the lemonade so it spilled all over the back seat of my truck. The staff at the store needs some serious retraining to be taught the true meaning of customer service. We were not the only ones waiting for our larger meal in this particular store while watching smaller orders quickly walk out the door. Not one apology from any of the staff. Needless to say we were truly disappointed in the staff performance at this store. If you plan to spend over $100 to feed your family, I suggest you try somewhere else. read more

I have been a KFC fan for over 40 years and until I visited the KFC store in Brighton, I had never had a truly bad meal. Today we bought our dinner meal with all the associated stuff that goes with the meal. The potatoes were absolutely tasteless and the chicken was dry, really dry. The biscuits were stone cold. We have had other bad experiences at this location, but most were due to a poor staff; wrong orders, forgotten potatoes, out of chicken!, very slow service, but as long as the food was OK, we can put up with a staff that wants 15 bucks an hour when their skill level merits under 5 bucks an hour. There are absolutely no adults in charge at this KFC! We have had conversations with neighbors and they have pretty much had the same issues with this KFC. Hopefully, the property they are on will sell and the bulldozers can finish off this horrible store. I can only assume the franchise owner never reads the reviews because nothing changes. read more

Terrible! We spent $80.00 Dollars for KFC for a party. We wanted one bucket of original, and one bucket of crispy- They had no original and not enough crispy for 2 buckets. Much like most people say I wish I could give them zero stars to start with. I have been there multiple times and every time my experience has been unforgettable in the most negative possible way. Every time I order an item it is never ready nor do they have it in stock. I have tried the drive-through and after ordering in the drive-through and getting up to the window to pay and they informed me afterwords that they don't have it's in stock. And adding to the unprofessionalism of this restaurant it seems as though they're all sex deprived children because all they do is spend their time hitting on each other while supposedly making all of our food which either comes out under cooked or overcooked. And that's even if they have the basics at all. It's filthy disgusting and horribly missed managed. My family and I refuse to ever go there again. The sad part about all of this is that the first time I ever made a complaint about this restaurant the management reached out to me which clearly they don't follow any type of recommendations because it still the same way after recommending changes in their restaurant. what a disappointment.
