Great service! Our order was accurately recorded and expedited in a very good time. Our food was hot and presentable. The workers here are friendly and easy to talk to. The restraunt was clean and cool. Whenever we pass through Coalinga, this will be one of our places for a break.

Terrible chicken. The chicken was soggy and small I couldn't eat it. Drive thru ppl were great though. I ordered crispy and got floppy.

Super slow service, even when they aren't busy with people. This is not a place to come if you are in a rush.

Upon arrival this place was empty, but it was just when it had opened. Eventually after we order it started to pick up but still it was very peaceful! Very good costumer service! We order a crispy chicken sand-which, a bacon cheese burger & Philly cheese steak loaded fries with a strawberry hibiscus lemonade! The crispy chicken sand which was perfectly made! The loaded fries were amazing ! & the lemonade was perfect balance not to sour not too sweet! I 100% recommend stopping here on your road trip if you are ever on highway 5! You wont be disappointed i promise!!

I use to work in a small cafe back in the day so working in food service can be trying sometimes. I noticed they have added some menu items and Friday/Saturday dining options as well. Today they had a Monday feature of Tri-Tip Sandwich with either fries or fresh fruit. A free drink was included and I chose lemonade with cucumber and fresh mint. OMG that was delicious. They also had several flavors, strawberry-Hibiscus, strawberry, raspberry, and the cucumber mint lemonade. I chose to dine in and I received my food hot. The fries were perfect. Crispy and not greasy. I chose a hot chipotle ranch & ketchup. Yah, being a vegetarian is hard. I wasn't vegetarian today. I tore up that sandwich and left no crumbs ok maybe the butt end of the roll but that's for Buddha. While waiting I saw the advertisement for Friday night dinners & Saturday Brunch with Mimosas & Micheladas. It's just two staff so go easy on them. They off a 3% discount if you pay in cash. They also accept tap pay. Cool tunes too. Until next time. . .SYOYelp

Food good Service…read moreok Ambiance ok We randomly stumbled into this place. We just pulled over just to switch drivers. I never knew Harris Ranch opened up a BBQ spot. Location is inside a gas station but there's plenty of seating in the heat outside. I ordered half rack of ribs and half pound of brisket. Upon weighing the brisket they also included the weight of the tray. Bummer oh well. Mac and potato salad as the sides. Everything was delicious brisket was juicy and tender same with the ribs. Mac was creamy and noodles were well done which was fine to me. Potato salad was fine. Brisket had a balanced pepper corn and salt rub taste. Their BBQ sauce was good but not spicy enough. I'm gonna start planning stopping by every time we're coming back from SoCal from now on.

So I guess they don't operate like normal restaurant hours, better to assume that they are busy all the time. When I called, they asked how soon I'll be here as they have a line. I told them I'm 20 minutes away and when I arrived food was ready. Upon arrival, I just needed to go to the cashier line and pay. So that was nice. The call quality could vary, so I'd advice to keep your order simple and familiarize yourself with their menu. They were in their own building, right next to the Shell gas station. You can eat outside as there's no seating inside. There's a big TV outside. It can be super hot and stuffy eating outside in summer, despite the fact that they have fans and cold mists. We were roasted in there sweating and watching FIFA game while eating. The restroom has AC and is clean and comfortable. We ordered half a pound of brisket main and a pulled pork sandwich. I asked to put all the sauces aside. The Pulled Pork Sandwich looks like a burger as it comes with burger bread but it's loaded with a thick layer of pulled pork in the middle. That's it though, no veggie, no other things, just bread and pulled pork. The pulled pork is already soaked in BBQ sauce, so there's nothing more needed to add to it. It tasted slightly spicy from the BBQ sauce, meat is super soft. The brisket was shockingly little, I couldn't believe one slice is half a pound and that's over 18 bucks! A pound is $30. The meat is super soft, one touch and the fibers fall apart. I wish they put more salt on when they BBQ, coz then naturally it'll be flavorful enough and don't need the BBQ sauce. The texture is fatty and softy enough. The mac and cheese is not bad, the cheese sauce is slightly over as the mac were like swimming in them. Overall a nice and quick stop to get some descent quality food. A nice alternative to gas station hot deli.

Our food actually came out pretty decent. It was hot, tasted fresh, and was put together better than I expected considering how busy it was. The kitchen seemed to be holding it together. But the front of the store? That was rough. The dining area looked like it had been hit by a hurricane. Tables weren't cleaned, trash was building up, and the straw/soda station was sticky and messy. There were a lot of people standing around trying to order. The manager was loudly telling customers they wouldn't be served for a while and should just use the kiosks. That didn't exactly calm the crowd. There was confusion, frustration, and a pretty tense atmosphere overall. Bottom line -- good food and an easy app experience, but the front-of-house operations and cleanliness need serious attention. With better organization and some basic cleaning, this place could be a lot better.

When we walked in, things seemed fine at first, but the table we chose was sticky and hadn't been cleaned properly. We also used the restroom, and it was dirty. It would be nice if the staff checked and cleaned the restrooms every hour or so. When our food came out, they forgot one of the Happy Meals, so we had to wait and try to get someone's attention. It seemed like the employees could hear us, but they ignored us for a while before helping. Once we finally sat down to eat, the fries were overcooked, and the sandwich buns looked stale or different than usual. Overall, the food quality and cleanliness were disappointing. I hope this location improves its cleanliness, pays closer attention to orders, and provides better customer service in the future.

Made a pit stop here at Harris Ranch Resort because we have always been curious about this place…read moreand wanted to eat some steaks from the source. Since it's right next to Interstate 5, it is very convenient for t9ad trips doen California. When I initially looked up the restaurant, I was a bit confused because online it seems that they have 4 different restaurants, and I wasn't sure where they are all located. But we just went and followed the signs that said "Restaurant." When we walked in the main entrance, the first thing we saw was the Country Store. To the right is the Horseshoe Lounge, the Prime Steakhouse in the middle, and Ranch Kitchen is towards the end. I think they also have a barbecue restaurant, but in a separate building. This place is massive. We decided to dine at Ranch Kitchen, where there was a huge group of people sitting right outside. I originally thought they were waiting for a table, but they were all just there for the restroom since this seems to be the place to be for pit stops down I-5. It was around 6 PM on Monday, and we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered the 14 oz. Choice Ribeye (medium rare) and the Country Fried Steak. Both included either baked potatoes or mashed potatoes (we opted for baked) and broccoli and carrots. The ribeye also included either a soup or salad, but given the current scare with the lettuce parasite, I opted for the clam chowder. They start you out with hot bread rolls and some salted whipped butter. The ribeye was very tender and delicious. It was well-seasoned and does not need steak sauce or anything. The country fried steak was quite tasty and comes with a massive amount of gravy, the way I like it. Overall, this was a great stop with great food. The service was amazing and the waiter was very attentive. This will definitely be a regular pit stop of ours.
