We picked up our mobile order and two items were missing. We called the restaurant and spoke with three individuals, all of whom were both incompetent (first person and second person answering the phone) and rude (second and third person answering the phone). The first two people required us to relate over and over what the issue was, never retaining any information. The remainder of our order, including the portions of our kids' food that was not missing, got colder and colder as they continued to ineptly shuffle papers and put down the phone. The third person, who identified himself as a manager named "Jose," became derisive and mocking in a sing-song voice. When told that his behavior was rude and unacceptable customer service he yelled "how do you know how I'm supposed to be, you're a customer." He continued to talk/yell over me and then, hung up in my face! This is completely unacceptable behavior, for an employee in the restaurant service business. This is especially so after we've spent money for professional service and hot food. Not only did they ruin our dinner, but I have never been treated in such a manner. Re-training is certainly needed but these individuals also need to have write-ups in their files to ensure no other customers ever experience what our family did. If you answer the telephone, you should be prepared to assist and happily manage the issue. If you cannot do these simple tasks, you should not work in the customer service industry. Place is a joke. Dont bother going to the drive thru, 3 for 3 visits, order wings, they dont have it ready. They want you to park at their neighbors parking lot or someone make a long turn around clayton rd to get back to their parking lot and say they will bring it. 15mins later they don't even have it ready no one brought it over. On Clayton Road in Concord, the service is very questionable. Coupons are definitely not appreciated there and often the orders are questionable. Chicken is consistent with all KFC's. I could've gone to Whole Foods and gotten a much better meal for the same price. I ordered a "festive pot pie" in the drive through due to the holiday pricing of $4.99. I asked if the Monday deal applied which is only $1 more for a medium soda. I was told "I think that's only in Mondays" to which I said ok nevermind. The girl on the speaker asked to clarify if I wanted the drink and I said no drink, just the pie. She confirmed and said $5.48 at the window or something similar. I get up to the window and am asked if I had the pot pie with the poppers and some other nonsense. I said no, just the pie, total after tax is $5.48. The girl gets someone else who tells me she heard me say "festive feast" and that everyone wears a headset so she heard me say it. To be clear, I never once said the word "feast". So instead of acknowledging her mistake she continues to tell me she heard me say it. Despite me knowing my exact total of $5.48 I was somehow wrong and a liar. This girl would not accept the truth and continued to try to tell me I was wrong. Had I ordered anything other than the single pot pie, like a drink or something, I certainly would have told them what type of drink I wanted. That did not happen. I spoke to a manger with this girl standing there listening and explained that I was called a liar for no reason. Got a bogus apology and went on my way. The worst part is I wasn't even given a receipt to be able to leave a review through the proper Yum Brands channels. They were definitely made with dark meat which I liked. And they came with multiple flavor options, and I opted for their Honey Sriracha. It wasn't my favorite because it was too sweet for my taste and the flavor of sriracha was super strong at the same time. I don't normally write reviews, but this location is can tell is doing horrible. Easily. Started to put my order in, young lady wasn't sure how to work the register, which is fine. That happens, she asked questions to her manager in Spanish and there just seemed to be a banter between the two. That's awkward, and I'm hungry and now irritated. That's resolved, payed for the food, spicy chicken box with fries, nuggets and drink. As to get my drink, I get closer to the fountain dispenser, its a mess and, on top of this, a swarm of fruit flies. I would've respected it if they tried some home remedy for this and tried cleaning the area. This is straight up neglect. Fries stole the show and saved this. I wasn't offered any condiments, but its not necessary with them. Nuggets were rubbery with the bread stale. If its slow, these poppers could be fried in a few minutes. Another sign of the cooks being lazy. Spicy chicken sandwich is decent, and I can tell the chicken here was far more fresh. Buns toasted, sauce is good, some juice in the chicken. This is getting a 2 out of 5. I don't expect a fine meal or perfection, but the bantering and lack of initiative noticed in the staff is unsettling. If it weren't for the fries and sandwich, this would've been a 0 out of 5 and would've been fine calling corporate about the neglect going against protocol. Came to this KFC and was completely disappointed. I spent a total of 40 dollars and when I got home with my food and everything was cold, the sodas were flat, the fried pickles were soggy and chicken was cold. The only options they gave me were to wait 20 minutes for them to re-cook my meals or wait three days to get a refund back to my debit card. Both options were not feasible when I requested a gift card to accommodate the fact that I had to come 15 minutes away from my home just to bring back food that they didn't have hot and fresh. They acted like they couldn't accommodate it then when I asked for the corporate number because I wanted to file a corporate complaint one of the workers wrote the number on a card and the lady worker took the number and put it in her pocket and then they claimed they didn't have the number to corporate. They also claimed their machines were now so I couldn't get a receipt for my purchase. This has been the worst KFC I've been to in the worst KFC experience I've ever had to have do yourselves a favor and go to another KFC or another place that sells chicken because clearly they don't care about their customers. The Customer Service is only OK when they're taking your money but when they mess up and you want a refund or you wanna file a complaint, they seem to not be able to make that right. I told them to re make it and throw in some extra chicken for the inconvenience which they did. All in all I won't be back to this location I've had better service elsewhere. Other food chains like In n Out and chic fil a, give out gift cards or coupons to make up for their inconveniences on the customers so the fact that kfc seems to act oblivious in ways to correct their inconveniences on their customers is very sad considering how eager they are when your paying but aren't as eager to make the customers happy when they mess up. read more

This is at least the 5th time I've gone to this KFC to get chicken and been told it will be at least a 20 minute wait because the dont have any chicken or mashed potatoes and gravy. This time it was chicken again. I expressed my displeasure (it was 430 pm) and was told I needed to go to the parking lot to wait. They don't have a direct access to the parking lot so I had to go around the block to get to the parking lot . I went into the store and asked for a phone number to express my displeasure to the main office. They told me they had no number. I saw a recept on the counter and picked it up to see of there was a number. The woman behind the counter grabbed (ripped) it out of my hands. I asked for a copy if a receipt because I was going to call to complain. They refused to give me a copy of a receipt. She kept calling me mama until I finally asked her to stop calling me that as I wasn't her mama. There were actually 3 people behind the counter that were less than helpful. I saw a commercial for there chicken strip dunking bucket. Said it was $7. When I got there it was $15. Double checked online and was supposed to be $7. I ordered the bigger bucket instead. I called tonight as I have many times in the past to have them cook a batch so that it was there when we rolled through. Tonight a man that couldn't understand answered the phone. This review is only for their annual THANKSGIVING DINNER MEAL PACKAGE on Thanksgiving day. KFC deep fried turkey is limited to only about 30 to 35 for each franchise. You need to pre-order as soon as you see a sign at their lot, so you can go and pick up on Thanksgiving day. I've heard from a friend that it's pretty good and have tried to order one just before this holiday, but it was always so out. After two years of trying, this time I got lucky. You have the choice of (A) deep fry turkey only ($60.); (B) turkey with sides: coleslaw; mash potatoes, gravy, and biscuits ($80) ; or (C) which is "B" plus a chocolate cake ($100.) They will schedule appointment times for you to pick up you order. When I went to pick up, a staff came to open the door...keep in mind they are still open for drive-through pick-up (due to COVID 19 pandemic going on). Be sure you check that you got our entire order. All the people working there on Thanksgiving were working hard, and passing on a good will for these frontline workers, I spoke with manager and gave the 8 employees working that day each $5. tip to help them out. KFC headquarters delivers the turkeys and each franchise deep fry's them starting around 3:00 a.m. to have ready for the pre paid customers. To my surprise, the turkey was fresh and all the sides were good too, especially the coleslaw (crunchy and fresh) A+ $80. This meal can serve between 6 to 8 people. We had plenty of food to give my 2 elderly 95 year old neighbors a care package for Thanksgiving. He said they both enjoyed it and thought the turkey was very good and tender too. We still had way too much leftovers and this made for additional meals for the next 3 to 4 days (to our surprise it was all still tasty and delicious). Twice, I had turkey cranberry sandwich with melted cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy on a sourdough bread A+; 2 more turkey dinners with mash potatoes with gravy and coleslaw A+; using the turkey carcass, I made jook (rice porridge soup) and removed the bones and shredded the meat into the soup A+. I was happy to see that all their sides held up pretty good and tasted just as good as the day I picked it up (exception is the biscuits didn't last). I would recommend at least once to try their holiday special order Thanksgiving deep fry turkey meal. It didn't have the taste of their famous fry chicken 11 herbs and spices, but it was seasoned with herbs and spices. Remember.....this can not replace home cooked Thanksgiving turkey dinner at home, but for fast food it's worth a try. read more

This is the third time I've been to this location and will never go back. Previously the food was undercooked and soggy(and that is for the extra crispy) Also, the in tap root beer was flat and room temp. Today I went through the drive through and placed an order. They told me to proceed to the first window. The window closest to me was closed, soni drove forward.... I was screamed at to go back to the previous window by a female employee. I put my car in reverse and sat, for 5 min. The customer behind me was screaming and honking because I wasn't moving, I thought I was waiting for an employee to come so I could pay. 5 min later someone stuck Their hand out the farthest window for me to proceed forward. Told me my amount (previously was not when I ordered). The male stuck his hand out before telling me my total. I asked why they made me go into reverse and he said because they are not allowed to have a customer sit at the window for more than 16 seconds once the timer starts. I replied that the guy behind me was very angry and I said she told me to pull up and pay, he argued that she told me to wait. Sooooooo it's okay to scream at me for coming to the window so they don't get in trouble, but to force me to wait and confused while other customers behind me are screaming at me like it's my fault. There's now a line of more than 5 cars stuck. I asked why I had to wait so long and they just told me BYE! How is this okay? This place should be shut down. The only thing I thought was strange was, once I ordered at the drive through kiosk, I proceeded to the pay window, there are two service windows, the first window was blacked out and as I proceeded to the last window service window to pay, the person used an abrupt hand signal to stop me from proceeding to the last window to pay. We have been going to this specific KFC for many years! We recently ordered a family meal and got some sides in addition to what was included in the family meal. It turned out they were short biscuits and the chicken was original receipt which was touch to eat not like in the past when it was most.
