Food is definitely horrible, not acceptable, if we pay for something we expect fresh and they are far away of offering good food, when they suppose to change the oil where the get things to get fried, I can tell they don't care about selling good food, I will never come back to this place, very disappointed, they are all nice but being nice is not enough, we want fresh chicken if is not fresh they were supposed to thr it away. read more

KFC is greasy, excessively salty food more appropriately used to fatten hogs than to be fed to your children. That said, my children seem to like it (but then, they regard Velveeta as cheese). Every now and then I agree to take them to a KFC. If you're looking for a KFC and find the one at I-45 and 336 North, keep on looking. This may be the filthiest KFC in Texas. They probably do clean it every now and then, but I doubt if they clean it more than once every couple of months! There was a dead roach on the floor next to our table. Tried this location for the first time today. While the food was good, just one thing was a bit out of place. I ordered a large corn. Expecting to get a full order of corn, I was sorrily disappointed in receiving a bowl of potatoes and gravy with a single layer of corn on top. Very disappointing! This place is absolutely down right NASTY! But some people will eat anything. I was there at opening time (10:30) this morning to order chicken for several people for lunch and before I could even get waited on to place the order I got to watch two of those little small nasty roaches racing right on top the counter!! Would have given negative stars if able to. Placed order on line went to pick my order up and it was only half there. Cashier told me that was what I ordered, when I tried to tell her that it was not all there she walked away. Had to argue for 5 mins with the staff and manager, finally said to refund my money, which they were unable to do, before they finally realized that they had made a mistake. We went today to just get a couple of chicken tenders. When we went through the drive through we noticed that a 5 piece chicken tender meal was $8.49. My husband only wanted the chicken so he ordered 5 chicken tenders. The lady on the speaker said well we can do a 6 piece chicken tender. Since we were going to split these he said ok to the 6 piece. She then said our total would be $13.69 (plus or minus some change). We both thought that was odd. When we got to the window he asked her to repeat the order and she confirmed it was correct. She then told us that the prices on the drive through menu were incorrect and that the 5 piece tender meal had increased to just over $9. I asked her but a 6 piece chicken tender only is well over $13 even though there are no fries or drink? She said that is correct so we told her never mind. I would like to know how by adding just one additional piece of chicken and no sides or drinks means I will be charged an additional $5. Also, there was no signage on the drive through menu stating that the prices have changed so I would consider that as false advertising. read more

Three or four times I've been to this location going to be told they're out of chicken. How can you be out of chicken, when you're a chicken restaurant? Two or three times I have been there in the lobby was an hour and a half to two hours before they close! How is that possible? I hate drive-thrus and refuse to use them. I like the walk up to the counter. This last time I finally use the drive-thru because they wouldn't open the lobby at 8:55, when the sign clearly says they don't close until 10:30 and again I was told they were out of chicken. They said it would take at least 23 minutes to cook the chicken, but because it was 9pm they were not going to be making any more food, keep in mind this was now an hour and a half before they close. What do they plan on doing for the rest of the evening? Nobody makes chicken better than KFC, but we really need a new store in Conroe. I give up. I've kept trying and trying and trying, but I got to find someplace else to buy fried chicken. read more

If you like KFC, you will not be disappointed with the food here. The service is another matter. The main problem with the service here is that there almost isn't any - AT ALL! I came in for some chicken early one evening. They were not busy. There was a car or two in the drive thru lane. I was the only customer at the counter. I stood there at the counter for more than 5 minutes. They saw me. They never even acknowledged my presence. No "We will be right with you, sir." Nothing. By the time I gave up and walked out without even ordering any food there were three more customers in line waiting to be ignored. I hope Donald Trump does not build that wall along the Mexican border. If he does, we'll never get any service anywhere. read more

The last several times we've visited this location have been subpar at best, abysmal at worst. The chicken is always finger-lickin' good... when they have it. They never have the crispy recipe....ever. Last time they didn't have any breasts or wings. Even when they are out of the singular item they probably should never run out of, they ignore you at the counter. They don't seem to pay attention and then you receive confirmation of this fact when you get home and the order was wrong. *sigh* I wouldn't care about the poor service if they food was available and/or the order accurate with any regularity. If I could rate this store a 0/5 I would. I ordered $80 worth of food for my family mind you I live 30 minutes away and this is my closest kfc. Ordered two family means one for chicken with side and tenders with sides both costing $33.99. I got home and they did not give me my tenders but gave me my sides. I drove BACK up there because I need to feed my family and told them that I want some kind of compensation for having to drive all the way back up there because they forgot someone and wanted my tenders. The manager working took 10 minutes to get to the counter because she was on her phone talking. Told her what happened had the receipt. And she called her boss Alex something and they said they looked at the cameras and they supposedly gave me the tenders and I asked to see the cameras and they ignored my question and kept saying they couldn't refund it or give me any compensation because I "got my chicken". This is the worst KFC I have ever encountered. Greasy chicken (my bucket had a half inch of oil in the bottom) is the norm. The Drive-thru is horrible. They have given me wrong orders more than once; I now check before leaving. Luckily two new chicken places have opened in town and alternatives now exist. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst service I've ever had at a KFC. We were the first of two cars in line and ordered a #2 and #3. When we got to the window to pay, the employee handed up our receipt and told us to drive forward. We proceeded to sit there while car after car got their order and drove off. After watching four other customers get their order, my husband went inside to check on our order and an employee handed him the bag and didn't explain what took so long. When my husband asked why, he said it's because the fries just finished. When I checked the bag, the fries were cold, I was missing my mac n cheese, and there was no spoon. My husband had to go back inside and ask for the missing items- still no apology. When I checked my chicken, it was soggy and awful looking to the point where I lost my appetite for it and just ate the mac n cheese. I will never go back here! read more

I have been to this kfc 3 times and i will never go back again. After ordering our dinner (10 piece meal) we waited over an hour for our food. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked if we could get our money back and leave. The lady said yes and went to get the manager. I took him 30 more minutes to come to the front only to tell us to wait a bit longer. There was 4 other people who had been waiting longer than us.
