I put in an order at 5:05 for a 6:00 pickup. I arrived at 6 and it took about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. They had orders piled up ahead of mine. Door Dash workers had to cancel orders and people coming in and ordering were requesting refunds after waiting 30+ minutes. My order was finally ready right before 7:00 but they had the wrong chicken. I felt bad for the manager trying to get her people to work and not just stand around. I've ordered from this KFC many times, online door-dash delivery. I get the same thing the 3 piece box. This time the had a new product the FILL UP BOX. It had enough for 2 days. I'm 91, live alone, and that was fine by me. I used GrubHub this time. This is a big box, partitioned for 4 pieces of chicken, 4 sauces, a huge pile of french french fries and a large handful of chicken nuggets. All this food generated enough heat as steam to make the box lid completely soggy. The soggy lid in turn dripped enough water to make everything in the box soggy and cooled off. I only live 15 min. from this KFC. I do not own an air fryer which might of helped. I microwaved enough for dinner since I was hungry. I AM NOT complaining about my soggy food, however I am complaining about KFC Customer Service. I thought I was doing KFC a favor by informing them about the ineffective box. After filling out a long form, I described the box problem exactly as I did here. Their reply was for me to contact GrubHub.I replied that wasn't a delivery problem. Delivery was fast. KFC' s answer was a form letter "Thank you for your feedback." Maybe that's why there are only 2 KFC locations left in Akron. I didn't even ask for a refund. Not that long ago, there was so much chicken in a KFC pot pie, that it was almost overwhelming. Not so anymore. Now you need a microscope to see any. There's a happy medium there folks. Hate leaving bad reviews, but here we go.... The wait for food here is AT LEAST 45 minutes. But today was my final straw... we ordered via Door Dash and were quoted 25 minutes. After ONE HOUR of waiting I reached out to our driver and asked if she could request how much longer. She was then told ANOTHER HOUR!! For what?! KFC's are wildly inconsistent as a rule but you know something is up when they ask you at the drive through to park in the parking lot while they get your order. And you know it's worse when you see car after car go by and know that they have forgotten about you. But if you do happen to actually get your order in a reasonable time frame it's pretty good so there's that. read more

I have never had any issues with the food itself, however the service is awful. Drive-through line always takes a while which I tried to divert this evening by ordering online.. I sat in the parking lot for 35 minutes calling inside to let them know I had arrived for pick up. No one answered, called 20+ times in the 35 minutes I waited. Ended up getting in the line and got our food that way, it had definitely been sitting there for a while. Told the girl at the window we called many times and their excuse was "we're short staffed" though we saw two separate employees taking out the trash while we were waiting. New management or system with to go orders MUST be put in place. read more

I've recently discovered that my husband loves KFC... I had no idea. This week we picked up dinner at a KFC near our home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. We went into the restaurant instead of ordering from the crowded drive-thru. My first impression was that this restaurant is clean, SPARKLING clean! The kitchen and drive-thru window areas were clearly visible to us and everything was clean! IMPRESSIVE! I ordered an all thigh, extra-crispy dinner with potato wedges and sweet corn. I was pleasantly surprised that I could personalize my order here! My husband ordered a grilled all-dark chicken dinner with mashed potatoes/gravy and cole slaw. The young man taking our orders told us that the grilled dinner would take extra time - "Is that okay?" Yes, it was more than okay... the staff at this restaurant was nicer than the staff at some high-end restaurants we've been to! The employees seemed to truly enjoy working there. While we waited for our order, a parade of patrons came into the restaurant. A woman dressed in scrubs from the nearby hospital, a family of three for a dine-in meal, a single man picking up a snack, etc. The drive-thru remained busy the entire time we were there. EVERY ONE of the patrons at this restaurant were kind, and chatty, and smiling, and lovely!! We left smiling! Our dinners were AMAZING!! Our chicken was crispy and HOT, even though we had an 8-minute drive home. The sweet corn was crispy and fresh. My potato wedges were AWESOME!! My husband inhaled his chicken and Mug Rootbeer. Love the food here, but the skimpy portion of large mashed potatoes I got with my order yesterday was terrible. Paid over $8 for 2 large mashed potatoes. Inside each large bowl was just a scoop of potatoes.... Did not even fill half the bowl and was not enough for 2 people. I remember when the large mashed was a tall tub and could feed more than 4 people. By far the worst KFC I have ever been to. The girl taking our order was rude throughout the entire transaction, cutting me off while I was speaking and rushing me to order. To top it off, when I got to the window to pay she wasn't wearing a face mask. Regardless of your personal feelings about the pandemic, it's expected you follow basic health and safety procedures when you work in food service. Have been a GM at a fast casual restaurant for years, so I understand how things can be and never go out of my way to write a bad review. We have tried this location about six times since they've opened. The order is never correct. Most times, when pointed out, they correct it. Sometimes they don't. The last time we went, I was basically told "too bad" when I pointed out the order was incorrect. We threw half the food away (none of us would eat what we did not order), and the other half was overdone, salty and rancid. I would suggest staying far away from this location, as it is poorly managed and the staff do not care whether the customer is served correctly. read more

Even with 2 cars in front of me I was waiting for 10-15 minutes. They have a real problem getting orders right. Son ordered a big box meal, supposed to have three chicken tenders and nuggets. No tenders, but a thigh instead. First off, the order was wrong. I ordered the Nashville chicken tenders. Three thin, heavily breaded chicken tenders sitting in a puddle of grease with one pickle slice on it. My biscuit was saturated in that grease too. I didn't get my mashed potatoes & gravy that I ordered. The cold slaw was good, typical KFC coleslaw. The food is good but the service could use work. The drive thru time is at least a 15 minute wait. I have gone several times and each time it's been that long. I have also been given the wrong food and/or every time I have been there. So make sure you check your order before you drive away! They never run out of food like the old one did. It's always a reasonable wait. Only problem is that they are at a 50/50 on giving out the sauces and utensils when you get your order.
