5/21/21: Stopped here again on my way to NC. It's been awhile, so I gave them another chance. Their drive thru line was wrapped around the corner, so I just new my food would be fresh. Not!! I ordered the K9 (3 strips, fries, & a drink). After paying, the cashier had me move up to the stop sign so they could bring me my food. I got the food and the only thing hot was the fries. The strips were warm and DRY, once again. I don't understand why they can't get strips right. No one wants to try to chew threw rubbery meat. One of these days I will learn my lesson and stop eating fast food all together. Until then, I will update this review... read more

C When l placed my order, l expected my order to be fresh. Given the climate today of ordering fast food in person, do not leave the premises until you check your food. I was unhappy after l looked at my food and spoke to the cashier, who in turn referred me to the chef. I explained my dilemma. Someone was speaking Pig Latin. After 3 attempts l was able to express the need for fresh food. My version of pig Latin was understood. I left with hot fresh food which was quite tasty. I really thought l was in the twilight zone, blah blah, blah, blah. I actually sat down and laughed about this craziness. You can't make it up. Thankfully, everyone was happy as l skipped to my RV. I enjoyed my food and now l am going to watch a little TV . Emporia KOA is about a 7 minute ride. read more

Horrible management. Very unorganized but the workers were doing the best they could but need some serious leadership.

We dined here today and what a disaster. when we arrived every table in the restaurant was dirty, we cleaned our own but when food was delivered we asked the man if someone could clean some tables and his response was I think she is busy right now. the drive through was busy and the restaurant was filthy and filled with customers looking for a clean table with food in hand and not one to be found. I asked for a manager and expl that again there are no clean tables in the entire restaurant. she looked at me like I had 2 heads and the man that deli my food said what the fuck. We ordered a 12 pc meal with biscuits and 3 sides for almost 40.00 ... got home and only got the 8 pc meal! Tried to call them right away and their phone line was full so we could not leave a message... also called Taco Bell and their phone was full too.... Bad customer service.... The women that worked the counter here was awesome. I believe that her name was Tiny. She was patient, friendly, and had good manners (which is lacking in a majority of fast food places up in NY). We ordered some KFC and some Taco Bell. When the combo location presents itself I have to take advantage. The Taco Bell food was really nice. I finally got to try nacho fries and they were solid. Will they become a regular item I order, most likely not because when I go to Taco Bell I am generally not in a fry mood but who knows. Everything was hot and fresh. They made a mistake on my burrito and made me a new one right away. I added a KFC to go cup to my order. A gentleman made the cup and handed it to the counter worker to give to me. She looked at it and then went back to top it off with more popcorn chicken. She handed me up a loaded to go cup. This was awesome. We also got 2 of the mini cakes. I enjoyed the chocolate one more than the lemon one but they were both better than I was initially expecting. I feel like this KFC / Taco Bell combo was solid which led to a far superior experience then I typically have at the spots around me. read more

When I was younger this place use to be a real treat, very delicious. Now the staff is impersonal, place is dirty, and the chicken is a soggy greasy disgusting mess. Not to mention overpriced as well. I hate this place now. read more

Do not try ordering special requests. I asked for no cheese and add rice to my chicken melt order and they couldn't figure it out until the 3rd time. This KFC/Taco Bell is super slow and the chicken was dry. read more

I normally don't write reviews for fast food restaurants, but I had a great experience at this one, so I figured it deserved a shout out. My husband and I stopped by here on our road trip to Florida. Tiny was our cashier, and she was awesome. She was really friendly and hardworking. Our food was fresh. The portions were good, and the restaurant itself was clean (including the bathroom, which is never the case). This is a great pit stop off 95 if you need to get a bite to eat. read more

Slow service and filthy dining room. Horribly managed establishment. The drive thru was constantly at a stand still. After we ordered our food we waited for 30 minutes to get our food. Would never recommend this to anyone. Go to the Walmart nearby and buy the ingredients to make anything else. You will be happier. read more

I don't normally review fast food restaurants because I don't eat at fast food restaurants, but a road trip to the Tidewater region of Virginia prompted a stop here. Located right off I-95 in Emporia, this KFC/Taco Bell trip was fueled by a BOGO coupon found in a USA Weekend issue. KFC has been trying hard to push their #IAteTheBones campaign and I wasn't buying it. The only people that want and need boneless chicken are small children and older adults. Well, I was proven wrong. This chicken was good. It was so hot, I had to wait 10 minutes to dig in. The restrooms were surprisingly clean, even though the restaurant itself was not sparkling. It needed quite a bit of attention to the dining area, but each employee we encountered was friendly and accommodating. I'd stop here again, sans coupon or not. read more

This location needs help! We waited for 30 minutes in a drive thru line that only had 6 cars in front of us.... When we arrived at the window they said they were all done with the sweet tea for the night and I could pick a different drink. (With at least 90 more minutes to go before closing they could have made more to keep happy customers). When we left and began eating out food to say it was lacking is an understatement! The chicken power bowl was with out the guacamole and the ranch sauce that belongs on it. The rice was soggy and unflavored. The chalupas that we ordered were still cold and the cinnamon sticks had no cinnamon on them. It was like eating a piece of crispy oil... this was by far the worst Taco Bell experience ever! read more

I eat in this restaurant at least 3-4 times a week. Whenever Mgr April is working , food is always hot, quick and they handle special order stuff well.. Dining room is a little messy sometimes, but never to a point if being a health hazard or anything. read more

Drive thru wrapped around the building barely moving but we were hungry and the kids wanted it so we waited...45 minutes! The lady at the speaker couldn't hear anything so we had to scream our order, when we finally(!!!) got to the food window we were told to pull aside as it wasn't ready while others behind us got their food. After 45 min I went to the "closed lobby" and asked for the manager. Travis finally came out and said it takes 12 min to cook food (it's FAST food not short order!) and that he shouldnt have come in to work that day. People were giving up on their orders and leaving the line even having already paid, one guy pulled up and said he didn't know whose food he got but it wasn't what he ordered. I told Travis he should be issuing refunds and he said he didn't have time for that, walked away, and locked the door. This place is a dump and should be shut down due to sheer incompetence. read more

Entire staff needs to be retrained on customer service and cleanliness. Front line standing around talking to one another and not asking of they could assist poeple in line. Staff supposed to be cleaning the restaurant and was walking around on her cell phone, the restaurant was filthy. Customers complaining to her about soda being out.. she sent them to the counter to ask or the manager instead of helping them. Soda area was discusting. it's okay. not the best place to go, but it's worth the money. it's not too cheap and not too expensive, but I'd suggest staying away from the chicken breasts.. seems like every time I've ordered them, they were WAY too hard to bite into. who ever cooked them does it way too long. read more
